Wtf? Do you honestly think RS2 was created because people were to lazy to raise their stats? That's about the most idiot thing I've ever heard. You could also try to get a life. Crying over a game? And there are a million PAYING members now for RS2, that little amount of people that want RSC back signifies nothing.

If you are interested in leveling all combat skills you should try controlled. If you merely want strength it's either the scim or PC.

I've played from around the beginning. Don't know about an exact date because my memories from back then are blurry (obviously). At least, it was in the time where you'd have to choose between being a normal player or a pker.

50 years? :? It is more relevant to ask what the world will be in 50 years. There's nothing to predict over such a long time span.

Then you're just out of luck. Jagex is not running a charity. The only purpose for F2P is to make people want P2P. So, they're not going to give F2P another skill. Sure it would be fun for F2P, but it's not going to happen.

That's an opinion. I doubt they made a mistake, they're making big money.

When I started, there was no tut. island or guides. You were just dumped in Lumbridge, and that was it. I didn't leave Lumbridge untill I was level 10, not feeling safe outside Lumbridge (there were lvl 14 farmers there! now they are level 7). I just learned everything myself. My friend got me killed at the scorpion pit in Al Kharid, and I got "scammed" of 3 bronze bars, that someone would turn into weapons for me. That's when I learned not to trust anyone with my items. I never begged for stuff, I wanted to earn everything myself and found it dishonorable to ask people for money or whatever. Oh well, that was all six years ago... with me being just as old as the average Runescaper now.

It seems obvious that F2P'ers would dissapear from the highscores. Also if Jagex keeps adding new skills (allthough that won't be very frequently) the process would be speeded up. I'd love to see a F2P highscore, it'd be great to see what F2P'ers can do with their limited possibilities to train their skills. What's wrong with naming names in this occassion btw? It's not negative to name the name of the best F2P'er right? I think that deserves some credit :)

Real life is - as far as I know - not something TIF is focussed on. TIF is meant for Runescape, as well as *some* offtopic stuff. Real life help is not something that should have a dedicated place on these forums. I mean... real life help on a forum that's full of 12 year old Runescape players? (that's not true, but I hope you get my point). Sure it's ok to discuss some IRL things here (imo) but focussing more on it is not something I'd like to see added.

Creative thinking there people! Allthough I have people in my ignore list, I'd might as well trow them out because I have my chat on friends anyways. This absolutely comes in handy.

I paid in a currency other than dollars (euros) through PBC, and they credited my account in 15mins. My friends have exactly the same experiences with PBC. There was just one time they screwed it up, making me wait for a week, finally sending them an email about it... They then solved it within hours, apologizing for the inconvience. In summary: They're reliable and fast and have a good service.

That's deceiving. America is huge, and with loads of people. Spreading those total amounts over the entire surface of America and it suddenly isn't so "wow" anymore. Nonetheless, the statistics point out that we in fact do consume a lot. But showing it in this form is just deceiving.

Not really, the rule doesnt forbid to have a boyfriend/girlfriend ingame.. What is illegal is harassing others about it. Is asking "do you want to be my gf?" harassing? That's just simply asking. Harassing is continously asking and following people around. Jagex has really gone too far by making this a rule. "to ensure the safety of our players" yeah right. Your safety is immediatly violated when someone askes you that question. If such a person is out to get free stuff from you, there are plenty of ways. Just have a little more than 2 brain cells, and you'd be able to filter such people out.

Allthough I hate people asking such things, I think this new rule is even more stupid than the people asking. I mean, it's only a question, and a silly one. Ignore it, or say "lol" and carry on. Is a rule really neccesary for this? Then why isn't begging for free stuff prohibited? Or asking silly noob questions. Seriously, I didn't think Jagex would sink this low with their rules. People will always complain because you have an enourmous variety in players. It's not like EVERYONE is complaining at EVERY update. Stop complaining about complainers. It's part of the game. Oh, and before someone calls me a complainer, I actually like the update.

They're quests, not all quests have to make sense. Technically speaking you could call them quests. But Jagex didn't intend this to be "quest-like". It's a different approach, so don't go complaining about how "those quests" sucks, because that's simply not the aim.
