Hehe yeah I know - and from going to zero drops in several weeks, to 4 in one day feel hell'a good. It was pretty funny because both Drape of the Dark Reavers and Saberclaw Talisman dropped on Shade. So it was like: "Um... /roll ... /roll" And I rolled 2 and 4. Luckily nobody else needed them.

Right, so, we downed: Attumen, Morose, Maiden, Curator, Shade and Illhoof in one run today. And I got four drops! :D Bracers of Maliciousness Gloves of the Fallen Champion (T4 woot!) Drape of the Dark Reavers Saberclaw Talisman Me so happy. Fake edit: haha nice, Nadril. I actually didn't know it was meant to be a temporary talent. I don't read the forums a whole lot.

Netherspite dropped... I actually forget what he dropped. All I remember him dropping is a sweet dps warrior neck. He didn't drop the Spiteblade anyway. Yeah my gear is crappy... it's only recently started to "shape up". And "Go run BM some and get Latro's" is a big understatement. I've run that instance so many times, probably over 50 and no Latro's has ever dropped. Oh well, since we have Kara on farm now, and me being the only rogue in the guild, I should expect some more epics rolling in the following weeks.

Gratz azvy :). I was bummed yesterday a bit because the raid got canceled for lack of healers. We were going to probably take down netherspite too. (WTB spiteblade, I really would rather go combat sword than daggers). Ah well this wensday we'll start clearing, we can probably clear it all. Yeah we almost had to cancel it due to lack of healers, as well. Luckily a druid logged on in the last minute. :) Also, pic or it didn't happen: Oh and it actually only took us two weeks and two days. :P

Hell yes! We downed Prince last night, Netherspite today, and we also got Nightbane down to 12-13% today - so we're quite certainly taking him tomorrow. The Nightbane fight really is laughable considering he's the last boss.

Right. So we got Prince down to 5% - and then, whaddaya know, a bloody infernal lands right on the MT and kills him. And yeah I totally get what you mean by bad guilds. I've had my fair share of them. However, with Ye Olde, we have somehow managed to get some really friendly and awesome people. The atmosphere is very nice both in Vent and in the guildchat. :) So I guess I'm lucky that way.

Okay, I'm getting annoyed by the Prince fight. It's completely true what you said, Nadril... it all comes down to how lucky you are. Why can't Blizzard just make the infernals land on the same designated spot each time? The way it is now isn't "challenging", it's just random and completely pointless. If you're unlucky with the infernals, there's no way you can win the fight. We got him down to 32% anyway.

And your sense of humour :) Except it's not about that at all. It's the fact that every person aged 10-16 used these jokes everywhere for several months. They just got really boring, really fast. I bet if you heard the same jokes several times a day for several months, you'd find them boring as well. Gratz. our raid was called off last night because of a missing healer, hopefully we can still knock out prince on Monday though. Illhoof is a fairly tough guy, once you get it down though its not bad. Our lock had a bunch of fire resist gear so he just aoe'd with Seed of Corruption. I simply stacked wound poison on illhoof so the chains wouldn't heal him too much. The chess event is so easy, free epix =P. Don't worry if you don't actually down prince, he's all luck. Give it a good bit of goes, the actual fight isn't tough but the luck part is. edit: also In my quest to find the 'best' spec I've gone to 19/42 again to give it a shot in kara. We have shamans for WF totem so I think it'll edge out combat daggers. *blink* Poison works on Illhoof? Ah crap... :wall: Anyway. The tactics on Illhoof is not hard at all (as long as people destroy the bloody chains). What I find tough about him his the fact that the amount of hp he has is just insane. I didn't have mobinfo installed on the computer I played on, but I bet it is way more than most other bosses in Karazhan. Prince. Yeah I suppose luck plays a huge part in the fight. For example where the infernals land. Because several of us would end up running straight into the infernals' AoE when we got Enfeebled. And in the end there's just not a lot of room to move if the infernals are placed awkwardly. I just don't like the fight at all.

Ahh, we finally downed Shade!! The +agi/+sta/+ap neck dropped, me and hunter rolled, he won. We also did Chess Event (pewpew), and attempted Prince with no luck, and then attempted Illhoof and got him down to 4%. We'll probably down Illhoof tomorrow pretty early on... and then just go Prince the rest of the raid.

Have you tried typing "/dm show"? Speaking of addons, can anybody tell me what damage-meter this is: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/3862/alar1hp6bm1.jpg? And we're currently on Shade in Karazhan. I'd say that's pretty good for a guild that started raiding not even a week ago. We got him down to 6%.

We had our first Karazhan raid in my (well, my friends' and mine) guild and they* took down Attumen, Moroes, Maiden and I believe they did the opera event as well on the first day. And they only wiped once and that was during Moroes. So yeah, we're all pretty excited right now. :D They will continue with The Curator tomorrow. *I wasn't actually in the raid. I let another rogue have my spot because I'm nice like that. I'll have my go next week. :) Oh and I really, really liked the Nihilum vid of when they downed Illidan. A very nice change from the usual PvP/raid videos with [cabbage]ty "unts unts unts" techno music in the background. Oh, and there's always at least one Rammstein song in them. Anyway it's a very well-made video and definitely worth downloading.

Me and two RL mates decided to resurrect the Ye Olde guild we had going on a different server (the schoolguild), and well, we've made enough members now that we're planning to do our first Karazhan run this Sunday. We'll see how that goes. Managed to get in a lot of really cool people, so it should at least be fun.
