Wow this thread proves once again that there are like a handful of people on TIF who're capable of discussing music. "Your music taste sucks!" is not a legitimate phrase to use ever once you reach... pre-school age? Nobody cares what music you don't like. Now the OP is terrible, but for entirely different reasons. I thought the point of threads like these was to give people who hadn't listened to your "favourite bands" the incentive to actually go and do so? You might as well just have put a big "these bands have some good songs" in all caps and listed them. "So many good songs" is a catch-all with no definition. Using only that to describe a band's music gives me absolutely no information - it means nothing to me. Like I said, no one on the internet cares what music you like or don't like, so the point of these threads is to make them care. Instead of just typing "man there good songs are really good" to describe a band, it would be nice if people would put in a few seconds' worth of effort to actually [bleep]ing articulate their thoughts.

Just follow the simple "if they want to tank let them tank" policy. I don't like to put extra strain on the healer, especially when chainpulling. About 2 hours ago a hunter asked me if he should turn off growl. This was right before the final boss. In the same group the mage kept pyroblasting mobs, the cat druid kept pulling additional packs and the healer was auto-attacking mobs I pulled because I didn't drop to 10% health every 2 seconds. I don't dare to cue any more. EDIT: And the hunter was telling me how to play my class. "You shouldn't use judgement of wisdom". This is what makes me a bit axnious about my plans on starting anew on a new server (when the next patch hits in November), I need to find a decent guild that I can level with - fast. I've had my share of PUG nightmare runs and [bleep] that noise.

So when the last patch hits before Cataclysm is released, the one that will bring the world changes and all that (in November, if I recall), will the new quests be added then as well? Wondering if I could start on my human paladin then and still experience the new quests.

Minecart system? I've started on one that I would continue on if only the game had some kind of x-ray feature. Pretty much impossible to figure out where you are exactly. Right now I just aimlessly dig around and hope that I don't flood the tunnel. But if I want the tracks go around inside the mountain, and then come out of it from a certain place, I'd have to spend hours upon hours digging around, measuring and keeping track of my steps. Ugh.

Yeah, well, to my defense I think I posted it before it was revealed he used some software to make it! Anyway, even though I don't really understand what the guy in your video just made, I'm sure it's cool as hell. Gonna have to agree with whoever said Minecraft is an autism simulator because the stuff some of these geeks come up with is just mind-boggling. In a good way. edit: Also, I currently have 1481 iron bars and 68 diamond ores. I'm lost as to what to do with all of it.

Outside of my fortress. Added a tower and a "demon" statue to my fortress. The statue is supposed to have horns as well, but I've reached the sky limit, so waiting for when Notch is doubling the limit. Didn't use fly or god mode hacks or anything like that, so the random dirt blocks you see crowding the sky are scaffolds that I've had to built. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to make the tower look old and "war-torn". I'm quite happy with the result. Everything is connected via underground tunnels and hubs, as well!

Haha, I've known about her for a good while, but I've never actually listened to her music before. I just always lumped her together with the Justin Bieber/Jonas Brothers craze so I never bothered. That said, just listened to this song and it made me inexplicably happy.

Just spent the past two or so hours working on a cool as hell demon-skull monument on top of my mountain fortress, without fly hacks or anything, building giant scaffolds out of dirt so I could reach around the corners, and then suddenly I couldn't stack any more cobblestones. The sky limit had been reached. Nggghhhhh!! Excuse me while I go re-evaluate my life. edit: Zilla, I think Notch mentioned in a blogpost that he'll be adding PvP in the future. And it'll probably work a lot like the way you described.

Nice base so far. I really don't like the door thing with the farm, aesthetically wise. Purpose works wonders. You should try using wood blocks as I believe they appear to connect to the fence, would make it look a little nicer, but its great so far. Also, here is a reskin of the Skeleton if anyone wants it. Thanks! Yeah, the door looks awful, but right now I'm more about practicality than having to destroy + rebuild a wood block each time I'm entering my farm, heh. I'm quite certain Notch will be adding gates in a future update though, seeing as how a lot of people are complaining about the lack of one. So I've added a rounded-off glass roof to my project now, so it's basically done. Trying to think of some kind of statue/monument-type thing to add on top of it because it looks quite flat. Guess I'll look through the Minecraft screenshot thread for inspiration. Btw, anybody got any tips on rooms to add to my cave? I've so far only got a "cooking, crafting, melting room" as well as a storage room. But yeah, I'd like to expand it!

Started a new world yesterday since I couldn't for the life of me find any decent cave systems on my previous one, and the terrain was mostly flat. This one has huge mountains and open caves everywhere. There's one cave system in the same mountain as my "fortress", and it's so far taken me about an hour all in all to explore and mine all the resources I've found in it, and it still just goes deeper and deeper! So yeah. I started building this glass shield-sphere thing mostly because monsters always spawned right outside my door, or would drop down on me when I ventured outside my cave. And it looks quite nice (this pic doesn't really make it justice)! Not quite done yet though.
