  1. The best thread. Whoaw. Now we just need to get Witty_Fools and Keiphus in here to bring the old Media Board band back together. Speaking of, Rizla poked in here not too long ago as well, and Herr_Lipp posts at SA nowadays. edit: also Mad, I unironically love that you're still rockin' that dw mafia sig. Haha!
  2. I used to enjoy the stories you posted, I remember one where your gf almost ran you off a cliff or something. You here to stay?
  3. Is it really that big of a deal in the US/UK? Over here, it's just the stores that attempt to hype it up every year, but I don't know anybody personally who gives a [cabbage]... other than some couples who might buy each other candy/flowers/squishy animals.
  4. If I'm going outside I use either Dior's Fahrenheit 32 or YSL's La Nuit de L´Homme for deoderants, and Hugo Boss, Chanel Allure or YSL eau de toilette (if I'm going to a party or the like). All great fragrances, I think. If I'm just lazing around at home I just use a bit of Hugo Boss's Element deo spray. Bought this t-shirt from Weekday today, except it's dark grey with black stripes. 4 eur! And it's really good quality as well. I love Weekday's sales. Really needed an earthy-colored t-shirt with a wide neck.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qz3oz9m2AA Swede Adam Tensta released a new single. Really like the video.
  6. This is incredibly irresponsible and stupid. Anyway, I think it was a Russian experiment during the cold war in which they studied how we act after extreme sleep deprivation. Not sure what it was called. Apparently they locked the subjects inside a room and filled it with a gas that caused them to not feel tired. Their conversations were quite chipper and cheerful in the beginning, but as the days went by they became darker and more depressive. And after a while they just sat in each corner and didn't talk at all. Skip a few more days and they started killing one another and then ate the bodies or something... and when the scientists shut the gas off they begged them to turn it on again. There's a wikipedia article on the experiment somewhere. So yeah, get your damn sleep or you'll literally turn into zombies. That's definately the "Russian Sleep Experiment" creepy pasta. ^_^ Oh, really? Haha, I thought I read it on Wikipedia, but now that I think about it it was probably in a "post creepy things" thread on another forum.

  8. Bought two shirts today from Weekday. Inc bad overly saturated pics: http://www.weekday.c...irt-black-wine/ http://www.weekday.c...go-denim-shirt/ First one was on 50% sale.
  9. I know this will come off as a lazy reply, but basically read this review (which everyone should read anyway because it's very well written and badass okay). I'm no good with words and describing music - but basically, from a technical standpoint, every song has a million things going on in it at the same time, elements coming and going for different parts of the song. Not just the sampled piano/synth line/drum beat/vocal bits like people would expect, but choruses, orchestral flourishes, distorted basslines, and the comically large number of guest appearances, all of whom make stellar performances. And that's not even going into all the themes, the ridiculous number of genius verses, blahdiblah. I'm really no connoisseur of rap music, but as a music lover it's a [bleep]ing fantastic album.
  10. The Tallest Man on Earth - The Wild Hunt Ikons - Ikons Håkan Hellström - 2 Steg Från Paradise Belle & Sebastian - Write About Love Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Anna Von Hausswolff - Singing From The Grave Eminem - Recovery Robyn - The Body Talk trilogy (technically three albums) The Radio Dept. - Clinging to a Scheme Man, I could go on and on. 2010 basically blew me away musically.
  11. You really don't have a rotation, you're based pretty heavily around the RNG of Holy Power, which is why Ret is kinda lacklustre atm. Crusader Strike whenever it's off cooldown, Hammer of Wrath when they're low, either use Templar's Verdict for some damage or Word of Glory to heal yourself at 3 Holy Power. Judge, I think Seal of Truth is the Ret seal now, but Righteousness might be better. I think there's a Talent/glyph that turns it more into what Seal of Command used to be. Divine Storm should be used when there's a lot of enemies around, like... 6-7, I think, because it shares the cooldown w/Crusader Strike. When... Art of War procs, I think it is, your Exorcism is instant and does double damage. And of course there's Zealotry and Inquisition and Avenging Wrath, your Cooldown kinda things, so use them when you think is necessary. Holy Wrath does pretty decent damage now, and it hits everything, but I'm not sure if Consecration is worth the mana hit. Of course, at 85, you can download the addon CLCRet, which is like a suggestion mod, it tells you what the best move would be to use. Thanks a bunch. Yeah I figured you should use Crusader Strike whenever possible, but some people commented that, hey Divine Storm has improved a lot in Cataclysm, maybe it could replace Crusader Strike(!). But then I wondered how the hell you'd build Holy Power. Ugh. Anyway, this helped me a bunch!
  12. So... uh, what is a good rotation for a level 49 retribution paladin? I recently (as in, an hour ago) switched from holy to retri and I am absolutely lost. Tried looking online but every guide has been written either during early beta ("we're trying to figure this [cabbage] out") or use a bunch of confusing acronyms that I'm too lazy to look up. It would be very much appreciated if someone could spell out the spells I should use!
  13. '02 here. I think I had you on MSN... and vaguely remember making a sig for you years ago, when I was into that stuff.
  14. It's TUKui. Takes some time setting up the way you want it, but it's so minimalistic it's ridiculous, and requires almost no memory at all.
  15. It's 'cause I'm a paladin. You can turn it off, but I thought it looked kinda nice.
  16. Just started leveling my paladin. Loving the new changes, leveling is much more fluid and the new textures are nice. Also got a new UI!

    Commuting

To school I take bus, commuter train and then the subway, in that order. About 2 hours spent commuting every day. Better than last year, which amounted to nearly 3 hours every day. Back to that again next year, ugh.
  18. My parents' car is a VW Golf, which is the one I drive since I'm a poor student. A good car that I really enjoy driving - feels like a go-cart. My only complaint is that the pedals are very sensitive, so it can be a bit clunky on first gear.
  19. [hide] [/hide] Ack, could you post in a visible color please <_< God I hate this new forum software. As soon as you copy-paste a text every goddamn format setting magically comes with it. I think I sorted it now though.
  20. How do you feel about body modifications? (piercings, tattoos, subdermals and the like, although other procedures such as tongue splitting are included). I wouldn't consider a piercing myself, and they look good in few other places than in the ears. Always liked tattoos though, ever since I was little. The fact that you put art on your body using needles blows my goddamn mind it's so awesome. Do you, yourself, have any/plans to acquire some in the foreseeable future? None yet, but I have at least 2 (maybe 3) drawn out and ready. Was planning to have one done on my arm a few weeks ago but I booked a trip to Ireland instead. I'll hopefully get it sometime early next year when I have the money. Hopefully! Why? Aesthetics. A well-made tattoo can look absolutely amazing. Text tattoos and tribals are junk though. How do you feel about the growing pervasiveness of tattoos among western youth? It's good that it's become more widely accepted. Hopefully some of them end up with a tattoo they can look back on in five years and still be happy with. Do you think men should get ear piercings?

I speek gud; or retakes are for babies! http://vocaroo.com/?...980qVdLDbSl4ZSO I also ran the text through Google Translate and translated it into my strange moon-language. It was difficult to hold back the laughter, as it made absolutely no sense. http://vocaroo.com/?...zj4h06YTz4WLy0Q (Sorry about the gum-chewing.)
  23. Halloween is the best holiday. Dress out as ridiculous characters and get drunk. This year I dressed up as an oil sheik, and my mate was Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing. It was a good day.
  24. Me too. Left pocket: cell phone Right pocket: keys, guitar pick Back right: wallet Back left: pocket change (sometimes receipts, notes etc.)
  25. This game is pretty much the sole reason I want a PS3. Really loving the unapologetically unforgiving nature of it. The game design and animations look fantastic as well. I haven't played it yet though, so I can't offer much in the way of discussion. Has there been any talk of a sequel?
