Cool. most people I've talked with picked the same topic. :) Yeah, it was 80 minutes. However, the essay I wrote didn't turn out like I wanted it to. And it was due to the can of Pepsi I had just before the exam started -- so I basically spent the last 30 minutes feeling like a balloon that was about to explode, while trying to write a good essay. :P So I basically doodled down the last bit of the essay, turned it in, and rushed off to the you-know-what. Ah, the joy! So, yeah... - moral: soda before exam = never good. // Azvi.

Thanks a lot everyone. :) Zippi, congratulations to you too! :D I chose the one where you were supposed to write about an item you treasure. And, well... in lack of any creativity whatsoever, I wrote about the first metal album I ever got, hehe. But I ended up writing around 5 pages, so I figured it was OK. :) How about you? Pyro, that sounds great! I'm almost looking forward to it. I'm such a geek. // Azvi.

Thanks! :) Limpbizkid, well, we're all strong at different things. Myself, I would offer my pinky to be good at maths. I only passed that one with about 5 points. I seriously didn't think I would pass it at all though, and that can never be a good thing. :P Korla, you're a swede? Anyway, I'm in my first year at Gymnasiet (similar to High School). And my alignement is sorta' like Naturvetenskap. It's a mixture, really, of several alignements. It's hard to explain, since I don't really know myself. :P So yeah, I have MVG in the English A course, and that can't be changed, so it feels pretty good. :) Goliath, nice job! // Azvi.

Well, I went to see my English teacher yesterday, to evaluate my grades; what my results were in the "nationella proven" (it's the equivalent to your GCSE:s and SAT:s etc. Like, a huge final exam you have in the major subjects at the end of each schoolyear). And here's what my results were: Reading & Listening Exercise: MVG. Essay Exercise: MVG. Oral Exercise: MVG. Final grade: MVG. MVG is the equivalent of an 'A'. :) In three years, I've gone from an average G+ (your C) student, to a, more or less, (at least according to my teacher) flawless A student, in english. :) Soo, the reason why I'm posting it here is, well, obviously to boast about it to people who probably don't give a crap, but also because I seriously doubt I would have gotten that grade had it not been for RuneScape and for this forum. So... many thanks to you for helping me up my english grade. :D *throws a cookie at everybody* // Azvi.

HEY EVERYONE! Couple Questions - Graphic Battles?

"Azz"? Not cool. :( But yeah, I'm around. I browse this forum daily, just don't post as much. Welcome back. // Azvi. -
Woooh, okay. I'm very glad to hear that. :) // Azvi.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was a bit (in lack of better words) concerned that people gave me some sort of "special treatment" just because I come from a different country. Because I'd hate that. Okay, another question: if someone speaks english really terrible, and comes from another country, do you, sub-consciously, think of him/her as stupid? Thanks again. // Azvi.
-
I've been thinking about this ever since I started chatting with people... outside my country boarders. :P So, yeah... I'm curious, when you chat with somebody from another country - whose native language isn't english - do you tend to use other types of words etc? Like, much simpler ones than you would normally; or is it something that you don't really think of, and you don't word yourself any differently? Or is it something else that I haven't covered already? Thanks. :) // Azvi.

Paris Hilton is probably the most masculine looking woman I've ever seen. So seeing her dancing around with a burger isn't exactly my definition of a good ad; unless she chokes on it and dies. That would rule. // Azvi.

I told you what I thought of it (even if I did put it in an arrogant way). And if you can't handle that, here's a tip: don't make these kind of threads, or simply ignore those kind of replies. Don't take things so seriously. I have now lost the point of this argument completely, so in order to end this, I'll just apologize if I did anything wrong, and do what I do best, [bleep]ing off. ;P // Azvi.

Okay, I'll rephrase: In the future, don't make: - Sigs with rubbish quotes. I mean, "I will fight..."... that's pretty much as corny as it gets. And the three "..." in the end of it makes it even more corny and just generally bad. All that it's missing is a Jean Claude van Damme walking away from a big explosion after preventing a gang of German terrorists from taking over the world, and you'd have me lying on the floor barfing. - Sigs that are too dark. Adding darkness to a piece can be a good thing, since it creates a certain atmosphere. Adding darkness just for the sake of it doesn't and is completely pointless. It shouldn't take people ten seconds to figure out "what the hell that red blob is". - Aye. I intentionally disregarded the fact that you'd written "compared to me", just to show my deprecation towards "Mary Popp". Because he's a big dunce. - This isn't a Counter-Strike server, terley. Resorting to "omg wat r u crieing abut u gae cemper???" insults simply doesn't have any effect on me, whatsoever. What the hell. Let me see if I got this straight, if I knew you, what I said would be totally OK. But since I don't, I'm morally incorrect; a total madman and need to sort myself out. Right. Gotcha'! Jesus christ... // Azvi.
-
- No he's not. - That doesn't look like an abstract. - The quote is rubbish. - Too dark (as you mentioned). Either stick to pixel sigs in the future, or read up on some/a lot of tutorials. Sorry for the unnecessary bluntness. // Azvi.

Read the rules... [EDIT] Err... okay... you edited the post... This is what it said earlier: *puzzled* // Azvi.

Uh, I have like one, and it's the one I got from Daan (How2PK): "Donnie Darko: Director's Cut" in a holographic case. Woot. Oh yeah, I also have a DVD that's supposed to help me with my driving practice, or "MUI"... whatever term you prefer. Cost a bloody fortune. But yeah, I usually leave the DVD-shopping to my movie-freak of a sister. :P // Azvi.

^ seconds that. If you need song tips by 'em, feel free to drop me a message. :) // Azvi.

Uhm, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but Hans Zimmer is an amazing composer. Try his "Roll Tide" and the Gladiator soundtrack he made. It's just instrumental though, so not really opera, but meh... he's got some powerful stuff, so I think you should check him out. :) // Azvi.
-
Only movies which nearly made me cry were: Braveheart The Green Mile Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (... the ending is powerful!) And probably a few other movies, which I can't remember now. Never really cried though... just damn close to. // Azvi.

Eh, I can't cope with any black/deathcore/Satan-worshipping bands such as Mayhem, Anaal Nathrakh and Burzum etc. So I don't listen to it, since I like to hear what the hell they're singing about. Don't take that the wrong way though, if you like it, that's totally super, I don't respect you any less for it. We all like different things. :) With that said, I listen to: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Edguy, Avantasia, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Dragonforce, Nocturnal Rites, Nightwish, Hammerfall, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Lordi, Dream Theater etc. I prefer the melodic and symphonic part of metal. // Azvi.

And I believe it was locked because it had an inappropriate title. Do you see anything inappropriate with this one? No. :? // Azvi. dont go smarting off at me, i didnt know why it was locked, but now i do. so take a seat and simmadownaw. The mod kinda' mentioned the reason in his post, so I think me "smarting off at you" is justifiable, mind you. // Azvi.

What is that flying thing? A gargoyle, bat...? Looks weird. And the smoke needs more softness, it's way too "rocky". The other parts you've shaded are cool, though. // Azvi.
