It's the best strategy to stop nukes from being dropped. And North Korea is a threat to no one. Even if they could launch a nuke (they can't), and it hit ANY country, they'd get absolutely thrashed by everyone. It's a poverty-stricken nation with some psycho dictator no one cares about anymore. He just tries to stir up crap by saying he's looking into nuclear power and testing missiles. Wooohoo. There will never be nuclear war. Everyone knows the outcome of that. Everyone dies, the planet itself gets destroyed, and it's game over all because you couldn't settle your differences, and no one wants to play that game. It's why the Cold War never happened...Well, it never, uhh...heated up.

You know, I've never heard an oil company actually acknowledge that oil will be gone someday. I hear the "There is enough oil that we know of to last for 150 years and we're always finding more etc etc etc, we're fine, kkthnxinvestinusbye" thing. Well, to be honest mate, they're not exactly going to come out and say: "Yeah, the company's screwed, lads. Give it a couple of decades, and you're all redundant". :P Well, I mean it just doesn't sit right with the fact that they're also doing nothing to find an alternative. Well, a few are, but just enough to be able to smile and claim they're changing the world. Exxon is doing absolutely SQUAT and they say they like it that way. I wonder at what point in the future, investors will have to say "Uhh, dude...Oil sucks now. We need you to look into new stuff..." and have them listen.

Perhaps it has something to do with mars's atmospere having a much higher % of CO2. Just speculating... But as you say, there's nothing really all that wrong with trying to clean up the environment. I repeat, "Mars is *heating up*", not "Mars is hotter". Mars could indeed have a higher percentage of Co2, but that is irrelevant, considering it is actively rising, and there is nothing on Mars to actively raise Co2 levels. Not sure if there are even active volcanoes on Mars, but if there is, you can't place the blame there, otherwise the "cars are doing it" for Earth goes out the window anyways.

I don't think you can take the global warming thing "too far"...There's absolutely nothing negative about trying to clean up the enviroment. But like I've said here before, Mars is also heating up, so it's a pretty good chance that global warming has nothing to do with oil burning.

Actually, you can tell the difference. When the PS3 was shipped, IGN did a little check. There were some differences, and they concluded that the 360 rendered games BETTER than the PS3. Just sayin'.
