To say Halo redefined gaming is like saying...Well, no need for analogies here, it's like saying "Hi, I'm an idiot." ...Sorry. Just is. I do believe Halo will go down in history as the game with the most fanboys ever, though. There is absolutely nothing special about the game...It's multiplayer was pretty fun, that's about it. Other than that, it's a completely generic FPS. I could reskin BF2 with Halo models and not even tell the difference, if you get my drift. They're the same thing. There are so few games that actually deserve the title of "redefining" gaming...Usually they're games that start Genre's...So... SimCity/Sim games. GTA games. Stuff like that. Spore coming up is definately going to redefine how we play games, considering how massive it is and how much there is to do. Halo 3 will not even redefine FPS's, let alone gaming in general, lol. I think the game this year that redefined FPS's would be Gears of War. That game makes Halo look stupid. After playing that, I can't stand playing another FPS where the goal is to run out, take as many shots without dying as you can and kill your opponent first is the name of the game...Snoreeeee. In GoW, it was either duck and cover, or get a bullet to the face and die. That's how shooters should be from here-on, but sadly, Halo won't have this at all. Lame. Anyone want to help me start reskinning Golden Eye 64 models with Halo models to prove my point? Anyone? :P

A difference is still a difference. You're saving the life of one cow. That might not seem alot in the grand scheme of things, but a life is a life is a life. And only some vegetarians consider eating fish. They basically don't value the lives of fish. There's always some black sheep in a family. if we didnt domesticate cows for butchery/dairy products they wouldnt exist. they would have been picked off by natural predators AGES ago, so think about it. we give all of them a chance at life for a few burgers? fair trade IMO, considering they dont really think, do i want to die? I don't think cows would have been picked off by predators. Have you ever been up close to a cow? The things are huge, and they are pack animals. They're like water buffalo in Africa...Some even have horns! :P My friend was personally almost killed by a cow once, lol. Like I said, they're huge and the cow trampled him and was charging him...He had to jump over a fence. Dairy farming = fun? :P So, by no means are they defenseless, stupid animals. Pretty stupid? Yes. Pretty defenseless? Yes. But they're large, and they roam around in packs, so there would still be a lot. Case in point; Water Buffalo...Buffalo...*Ahem*. Reminds me of the Zebra I saw that drowned a lion who was latched onto it's neck so it could get away.

Which is exactly why vegetarians are trying to convince other people. Can we not do as we wish for once without being bombarded by other people's views? You clicked on the topic, dearie :D And also, the vegetarian movement has grown quite large, especially in America and urban areas. In fact, I would say that approximately half of my good friends are vegetarian. At my college campus, there is even a very popular Vegan Cafe to cater toward vegans - and it's popular among vegans and vegetarians and meat-eaters alike, because it's just good food :D. Nothing ever changes in a day, but it's a growing movement, and it's certainly making a difference. In addition, it has led to a greater availability of free-range and organic products to cater towards individuals who don't support factory farms, but don't mind the idea of meat in general - and greater restrictions about who can claim they are "free-range" or "organic." Ten years ago, you would NOT find the same product options in supermarkets. So don't even try to tell me it's not making a difference :D Well, I didn't mean to keep the views out of THIS topic, I meant they shouldn't be shoved down throats within the real world. :P

Scientists always release their findings after they find something unusual. This allows other scientists to try the same and check the results. And for debate. Especially since the population is only getting bigger. It'd take millions of people for them to even go "Whoa, making too much boys! Slow it down!" You obviously know nothing about golf. Do enlighten us all on how a "Nike" is better than an "Adidas". I don't know any name brands of clubs, so that's just my example. They probably don't even make clubs. A 9 iron is a 9 iron, afterall. Some are just shinier.

Simply put, GTA1 and 2 just aren't very good. For the time, they were pretty fun (I remember having short periods of fun playing GTA1), but they weren't very good games. Plus GTA2 gives me a headache because of the wonky cameras. To fully enjoy the GTA series, you really only need to have played GTA3 and on (if you played GTA: SA w/ out playing GTA3 first, you probably missed a few major plot points). GTA3 doesn't even come close to comparing to VC and SA, but at the time there was nothing like it, and it's necessary to play to enjoy SA (and beyond....most likely). I think the general gaming population would disagree. :P GAT1 and 2 were the reason GTA3 did so awesomely well. Well, part of it. I know I, for one, only bought the game because I had played the first two and I wanted more of it. When I turned it on and it wasn't helicopter view, I was like "WHAT? AWESOME!" and called my friend over. We always hated the helicopter view, but GTA was still awesomely fun, so when they got rid of that, that's all she wrote. :P My friend and I played it for months on end, lol. I can remember playing it pretty much everyday until VC came out, and then did the same with that until SA. Can't wait for GTA4! Another year+ is going to suck. I'm getting too old to be excited about games. :P

I remember playing GTA2 when I was younger. I had no idea what it was when I was playing it, didn't know it was actually a real game. I thought it was just a game that you steal cars and run over people, then sell the car. That's all I ever did in it, and I spent hours doing it :P . Yea, I never did many missions either. :P

GTA is the best in it's genre and noone contends that. All the other games in it's genre (trust me, I've played just about all of them :P) don't come close. Saints Row was close, but it was a blatant and total copy, too. :P You youngins' need to go and play GTA1 and GTA2 before you even talk about GTA. :P Hell, most of ya'll haven't even played GTA3, I'd wager. :P

My mom put a $50 and a $100 in a huge box filled with packing peanuts. I opened it and the bills were right on top and then I dug around and was like "What the hell?" and she goes "Yea, that's it...Har har!" and I was like "Well, that was a waste." :P

Most berries you're going to find out in the woods are - *gasp* - poisonous! You'd be lucky to find some raspberries...I know there are a couple bushes of them around here, but there are much, much more of those nice poisonous red ones! Yes, the meat eater would need vegetation aswell, and he could eat it if the vegetarian could, however, he'll be much less hungry, as he's actually eating things that are, you know...filling.
