That kind of thing happened to me all the time. I believe it is to be sure we see the message. You know, sometimes when you fight you don't always notice the chatbox. Very good precaution if you ask me, especially when you don't have your gem with you to check if your finished.

I AGREE! When I read that Jagex had prevented tip.it from publishing the guide I was like 'they dare do that?'. If I had been the one in charge I would have certainly not bowed to such request. Seriously, who they think they are?

You know what, I am in an alike situation.. Crazy isn't. I don't really know her, I'm not her friend, however I know her pretty well.. When I see her, something happens inside.. I'm a bit more experienced in love, I know what to do if I really decide to 'make a step'. But it's complicated. How? Always the question.. For now, I let that feeling be.. Like as if she was a dream.. I know emotions can be very misleading.. I don't even know if I love her. If I get the perfect occasion, I'll make a step. I already have it all planned. If not, then may it be.. That'll stay a dream. Hope it helps..

Nice idea, but this isn't a really good place to put it. If you have the possibility of putting it on Runescape Official Forums, or ask a friend to, do so. Jagex looks regulairly in their forums, but I doubt very much they look on here often, that's if they even look.

Actually, this game isn't medieval. It does have a medieval background, but it's fantasy. Many things in the game aren't from medieval times (or simply don't exist), and there is many things in the medieval times that are not present in the game. I doubt Jagex adds joust. Maybe very very far in time.. It involves too many things, horses, possible new skills, new equipement. Jagex has all its update already planned. They almost never use the players' ideas. If I was them I would be the same. It's their game, they do what they want with it. Suggestion forums and things like that are made at 95% to prevent people from flooding their message center with suggestions. The 5% remaining is to hear good ideas from players.. The only thing I know of that has been added because of player feedback is the keyring. And I bet they only did it to not have to add more bank space.

Congratulations Phil. Now you have officially ruined my topic. My topic is about the new movie, all of it talks about the new one and how I liked it. Now, if everyone starts commenting about how lame is the new movie without even having seen it, I don't think that my topic will go anywhere. But go on, have fun getting everyone against me and what I think. And btw, you ARE hurting someone's feeling, MINE. I'm at the borders to cry (seriously), I hope your proud of yourself. I've just seen the remake. Loved it. I posted an appreciation thread on the off-topic forum but the old version's lovers are ruining it while I clearly specified I don't want any comparison between the two versions. I suggest you check it out if you want to know more about the new movie, ignore those old version's lovers who haven't even took the time to look at the new movie before stating those offensive comments.

Please, I would like to stay way from the topic "which one between the two movies is the best". None can make a good judgement without having seen BOTH movies. This won't go anywhere if everyone is unable to go over the fact that there was two different versions. No need to hurt one's feeling about arguing which one is the best. Both are different. Some might prefer the oldest, some might prefer the newest. If one doesn't like the first one, he might like the second one, 2 times the chance to like it. See the new version if you haven't seen it, it's worth it. The previous movie is 34 years old, which is quite old, the new version is amplified with special effects which brings a totally new look to the story. This my appreciation of the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you are interested into knowing more about it, read this. --- It's a remake of a previous movie based on a book. You might think it's a kids movie. But not at all! It's a brilliant movie, really. It's a mix of fantasy, absurd and of machiavellian at the limit of evilness! It's basically the story of 5 kids who are chosen to visit the chocolate factory of Willy Wonka. Wonka is played by Johnny Depp. You might have heard Wonka looks (something). Also, he is a mix of a girl and a boy. Actually he doesn't act like a women nor a men, some people confuse that lack of 'cex' as him being (something). It's wrong, don't believe all what people tell you. Depp plays an OUTSTANDING performance in this movie. Willy is a complex character. His father was an evil dentist that forbids him to eat anything sugar, he would also do experiments (such as machines) on his sons' teeth. Someday Willie got tired of it and quit his father that's why he is still childish when adult. He's living the childhood he never had. Also, after having quit his father, he could do all he wanted, he didn't have to grow. There's also this machiavillian part of him. He planned all those traps to sort out who would be the winner of the 'special price'. Each time he barely tries to help the kid (by exemple when the fat boy falls in the chocolate river) he watches with amusement as the Loompas sing and the parent join the kid into the trap. I think this is the trait that makes him an interesting character. Willy Wonka watching one of the kids being sucked by a giant straw-like machine. Hes also extremely funny with his Kaaaay? and his Hey! also with the way he acts and speaks. His facial expressions are incredible! Think at it, hes all what I mentioned earlier, at the same time! At the starting, we could think of him as being Michael Jackson, but we soon find out that hes much more than that and get really attached to him. Basically Willy Wonka is :twisted: :wink: :roll: 8) :? . There is also the oompas loompas who add a funny touch to all of it. Watching the movie is like going on another planet for 2 hours. Some of you may love it even more than I did and some of you might not like it at all, but Im pretty sure most of you will like it. My rate is 9/10. The movie was perfect except the beginning that is too long and the end that I simply dont like. But all the other things, especially Johnnys acting, is wonderful. --- You may post here comments but bear in mind that the idea is not to ague over points if you have different views and opinions about the movie. :lol: :lol: :lol: Anyways, the idea wouldn't hurt, but I'd hate to see some lvl 20 walking around in a tux and top hat, that'd just kill my eyes =\ Actually I don't think any lvl 20 would be able to get it. For canes, they would need to do a semi-hard quest. For hats they would need to be very patient beacuse they would be untradable and the only way for them to get them would be to complete the manners game several times. As for the other items, I haven't thought of the way to get it yet, but let me remind you that my point is to not make those items easy to get so that everyone can get and wear them (Idk if you are a member and was there when the ham robes went out but ALL the noobs would wear it, I don't want that kind of thing to happen with gentleman items, I don't want to make it hard or expensive to get (I don't want those items to be only for high lvls or rich people, I want it to be for everyone that wants it enough to be able to go into all the process of getting it), I want to make it LONG but not hard to get).

maybe you would get extra emotes wearing that stuff, like a gentleman taking his hat off for a second, to be polite. (i bet if i posted this on JAGeX official forums a LOT of players would be running to get their dictonary, to see what the * polite is. Exellent idea! Then I highly reccomend you see the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), starring the brilliant Gene Wilder as Wonka. A great film. The original and the coming remake are both based on Roald Dahl's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964). lpinkus I already know about the orignal movie, I heard it's very good. But I'm not a big fan of old movies, and I'm only going to see that candy movie because there is Depp in it, but ty for the suggestion anyway. We all love Willy Wonka but please lets get back at the main subject - my suggestion.

Actually, I cannot really answer to any of those questions except the first one, yes you would be able to attack with canes. Also, the gentleman clothing would have no bonuses, like mime. For the stats of the jewelery and the canes, I was hoping someone would suggest me some. You know those + and those - in bonuses, understanding them is a thing, making them is another. About the Johnny Deep thing, I was thinking the same thing, he had to dress up like that for a whole movie. I posted this suggestion on Runescape Official Forums but of course it got at page 49, pushed by overnumbered farming threads, and, in no time, got deleted. --- I think we need a gentleman touch in Runescape, but don't worry ladies, this is for you aswell ! (Some very few of you may think "Runescape is medieval-based you can't add that etc etc" (for those who aren't concerned, just skip this, you've already understood) We got berets, they didn't had that back then. Nor did they have wooden armour, magical things, whips, party hats, easter eggs, giant hammers and axes, etc. It would be stupid to close our eyes to all ideas that go a bit away from 'medieval' because Runescape is fantasy, not a historical reply of Europe, wake up!) Canes Aww, a real gentleman never leaves home without it. It would be tipped with all metals including dragon. I would be optained in a shop and you would need to complete a quest in order to wield it. Shop prices: Bronze cane - 100gps Iron cane - 300gps Steel cane - 700gps Mithril cane - 1200gps Adamantite cane - 3400gps Rune cane - 42 000gps Dragon cane - 125 000gps Top hats and melon hats Now that would be interesting. There would be 2 types of top hats, low top hats, medium top hats and high top hats, very tall ones. They would be optained as a rare reward from a mini game manners-related (I know some noobs that it wouldn't hurt to review a bit their manners). Costumes Now old-ish style costumes! Here is a costume pretty close to my vision of what kind of costume we should get but black instead of purple. Also meet this Willy Wonka character, I got most of my ideas for this thread off him (that and also the fact that I am hitting on Johnny depp, especially when he's in costumes... I don't think this is a 'change'. It already happened previously for maples to look this way, and Jagex told that was a bug, which they fixed. Have you seen the magic trees? They now have yellow sparkles, which is extremelly ugly. This is most likely a graphic glitch that will be fixed.

Mimes are random, but random while training combat, I never heard of anyone getting one while not doing so. I personally have all the emotes and the clothes, and I got them all while doing combat. Try shadow warriors and dagannoths, they are exellent for mimes.

How much time you spend at the same place has NO LINK. You have a higher chance of getting a mime while you train combat, I got the whole mime set and emotes, I should know. I got most of my mimes on Legends Guild's shadow warriors and Dagannoths. But remember, it's RANDOM, but training combat will make you more likely to get one.

I'm beating Saradomin in every skill except magic, he has one more lvl than me :evil: . Hmm that sounds good, I'm beating Saradomin :lol:. A lot of people took the good names to reserve them in case. It's quite annoying because when you look them up in the highscores, their lvl is most likely going to be very low or not even appearing. For instance, the name "Highlander" doesn't even appear in the highscores. I needed that name more than the person who reserved it and didn't even work on it.

The mailbox idea is bad. For instance, if you have an enemy, he could create an account to spam your mailbox with a ton of messages while ur not there. Even if there's a friend option, it's not enough.

They could transform it into a prison, people in Rs2, instead of being banned for like 3 days would be banned for a much longer time and when logged in they would be redirected into RsC with the autoers. Just an idea like that, it's better than simply shuting it down.
