Recipe For Disaster Quest Guide (Complete || PATCH RELASED)
highlanders replied to Exovion's topic in General Discussion
I'd like to confim that using cooking gloves works when picking up the rock cake in the dwarf part works, I just did it. -
It is their site, is it not? If someone were badmouthing you, wouldn't you ban them from doing it again? And don't say "he was being polite about it" because obviously he wasn't. You guys complain about their banning policies way too much. Don't do anything borderline, and you won't be banned, that simple people. Excuse me? You don't know what you're talking about. I do not agree with certain of the things they do, and I talk about it in the forums. I don't "badmouth", insult, flame, or any of the sort. I have my opinions, I state my points, in other words, I explain why I feel this way or another. By definition, that's what criticism is. My threads made people react, and they were permitted. I was blackmarked for very isolated and absurd reasons, for example, my second blackmark was because I said that Jagex "was doing a great job considering their means and the little the game had started of" (my exact, or about, words) and I got a blackmark because I 'insulted' them. I'm 20 years old, I'm not a little swine who just spams all the forums with insults at Jagex. Inform yourself before accusing people without knowing.

The Knowledge Base - Jagex vs Fan Sites?
highlanders replied to Unitedite's topic in General Discussion
I thought a similar thing. The database is a loss of time to me. The information provided is already on all the fan websites. The only thing good with it is that the information is 'official', and not an extrapolation like on fan websites. If you ask me, Jagex lost their time. That database will only be good to noobs who still don't know the existence of fan websites such as this one. -
giant mole misused for the time being?
highlanders replied to The_Avatar's topic in General Discussion
Well think at it this way.. If you're a high level and you want to get seeds, and that you can take one on one the beast, I think most people would do so, because going bugging your friends to come is hard. They usually don't want. Think at it, those people are just high levels with a lvl 60's heart. -
There it is, I've been forum-banned from the official forums.. I had 2 blackmarks, because of my still very polite criticism towards Jagex, and knew it would be a question of time before it would happen. Jagex, following their 'tradition', gave no reasons, and I can't recall doing anything offensive, but calling a ban appeal is probably useless knowing their customer support is essentially made of university students that need a job, and that seem to have no clue what they are doing.. Well, I think I'll need to get used it.. It's a harder hit than I thought, I liked those forums.. Atleast tip.it is still there, and won't ban me for my opinions. Hello tip.it! Your my new forum.

In Rsc, there was a pink phat, they transformed into a purple phat in Rs2. Why? Who knows.. Jagex is such a pack of dimwits.

Maybe Runescape for... Console?
highlanders replied to I_Broke_Benjamin's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Membership would cost a real fortune! And Jagex would need to adapt their crappy graphics to the X Box or make new graphics. They're already unable make simple things... Wow bravo Jagex, you only took a whole week to make a 10 minutes quest! -
What is YOUR highest skill and why?
highlanders replied to Matrix_Lord's topic in General Discussion
Fishing 92 No reason. I needed money and fished sharks for a phat. Phat which I don't have anymore, a loss of time it was... -
if you could summon a character from another game...

Vetch! From Illusia. A very very insane player, ahh you know I love you Vetchy! -
Sometimes I wish my computer could handle better games... Sometimes I wish I had never started playing Runescape... Sometimes I wish I Rs2 had never been invented, we were all too well in our small noob-less Rsc... Sometimes I wish this game didnt have such a horrible community... Sometimes I wish Jagex would be kinder and more understanding with us, or even just talk to us instead of ignoring us... Sometimes I wish Runescape wasn't considered as the worst game ever in the gaming community... Sometimes I wish... But it won't happen will it?

Foolish noobs arrogantly think that if we don't answer to their incessant babbling it is because we are an 'autoer' Dimwits

What happened to you when you first played Runescape?
highlanders replied to sakura218's topic in General Discussion
That was 4 years ago, in Rsc times. I made an account because I had learnt about this game in a gaming TV show. I logged in, went trough a bit of the tutorial, got stuck at some point, hated the graphics, and logged out. Days after, I was bored and logged in back, finished the tutorial after a bit of struggling. -
Ahhh more Order of the Cabbage loonies' demands..! But I share your pain, and for one, as a loonie, I understand your attachment to that strange useless and pointless activity that is cabbage picking.

That is 10.8m profit/year so far. If you have decent stats you can get that much money in a single week. And when you buy rares they are stuck in your bank for such a long time, frozen and un-usable money. This kind of investing is useful only if you have enough money to buy in bulk amounts.

Tip.It Times Presents: The Greed Factor
highlanders replied to oddfaery2's topic in General Discussion
Well the Greedy Factor is not a cause but a consequence. The prices of things is way too high, rares for instance are soo much more expensive than in the past years. And this tendency has rubbed off on other markets. Armour, materials, treasure trail items, all has raised. But the money efficiency of the average player hasn't raised (even though certain new skills such as Rc have helped). What happens? Dun dun dun, people need more and more money, money they don't have. Solution for most: dishonest ways. -
Longest period of time playing RuneScape?
highlanders replied to d3nic's topic in General Discussion
I never spend 24 hours in a row playing Rs, but often I can play up to 4 am, go to sleep, and wake up at about 8-9am to continue playing, but only on days when I have no classes and weekends. I'm obsessed I know  -
how many trips was it before you got your first barrow item
highlanders replied to lukerwood's topic in General Discussion
Barrows seems to be a good in-come of money Imagine if you do 10-15 trips a day, and you get an item of aprox 1M. That's 7M a week ^_^ And even more money if you do it actively. -
how many trips was it before you got your first barrow item
highlanders replied to lukerwood's topic in General Discussion
I recall making about 100 trips in a day, and getting nothing at all. I got soo frustrated I sold all the items I had bought especially for the purpose and never did it again. But hearing of all the rewards people have gotten, I might try again another time. -
A strange thing life is, is it not? A moment you're alive, the other you're dead. That Shiva is lucky. Many players that didn't even know him now know who he is, and are mourning him. If one of us, normal players, would come to die, nobody in the community would know. People would think we quit, and how wrong they would be.

Guthan, now worthless? Bones to peaches discussion.
highlanders replied to Bloodveld's topic in General Discussion
The bones take a lot of inventory space, that's not useful. -
What I despite of Jagex's updates in that they don't link, do not complete eachothers and do not make any influence on the world, like a running tale. Each update is a seperate block of story, that ends at the end of the quest, pointlessly.

I would be the count Draynor. Weak, vampiric, full of broken dreams, living my settled life in my manor; terrorising my own village. In a rare dark place, that is not mine. All alone, and dead. That would be my life, all to the image of my current grim life, in this contemporary world.

Bank pins are useful if you have dangerous internet surfing habits, such as having no firewall or memory shield, or going on small Rs-related websites on which you could get keyloggers. And by making frequent adware/virus/spyware scans, you make yourself safe. Actually, the only thing that could broke in your account even if you're careful is a password cracking program. 90% of those programs don't work with Rs. So by having a weird alphanumeric password, you're safe. My point is, bank pin is a pain in the back, that only works partially, better get yourself some real protection. http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/c ... opnav_zass http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ (Note: this reply is not directed towards someone in particular)

Whoever made the thread should have made it in a poll form.. Anyway, I'd say agility and crafting.
