I don't consider myself a skiller. While I do see the value in many non combat skills, I spend most of my time in RS soloing GWD, or killing TDs, or something combat related. I easily have enough money to rush all my buyables to 99, but I haven't done so because getting 99 in those skills won't let me do much of anything I can't do now. Meanwhile, my combat exp continues to rise, I've passed 40m Attack exp and will break 20m Range exp soon.

Divines are selling at max? I'm glad I kept mine then.

I've gotten 7 kills at Bandos twice now. Divine + SGS for specs owns. I imagine the new max for Sara is perhaps 8-10 now. Like I said, I had 8 Restores left, so I imagine I would drop 4-5 for Brews, and also drop 2 of my Bird Pouches, and a Range Pot. For now it nicely bolsters my cash pile to 504m. Perhaps spend it on Crafting or Smithing or something. Con is banked assuming SC hammers, FM is too. And for Herblore, I'm still growing my hundreds of herb seeds from Slayer/Solo Sara.

Solo Sara is way different now. 1 shot per wall and zero protection from any of the minions outside of Mage pray. I only got 5 kills this trip and was on my last Brew with 8 Restores left. I'm definitely switching back to a Verac Skirt, bringing more Brews, and might stop soloing Sara altogether once I get my goal of 1k Sara bosses soloed in 20 more kills.

Solo God Wars. My bank value exploded as soon as I figured out how to solo the bosses and I started getting drops. I tried to solo day 1, that didn't go so well. I'm now trying for 2k+ bosses soloed and perhaps every GWD drop soloed. It remains my favorite activity in Runescape.

Last kill, 57 HP, no Brews. Every GWD drop except Tassets and Zammy Hilt soloed now. Solo Arma Kill #280.

I plan to serve as a missionary for 2 years starting some time this year or early next year and as such, I will not be able to sign on to Runescape for 2 years. I plan to put most of my wealth into something that should go up over those 2 years. The question is what? For those of you who know me, this is the reason why I'm obsessed with Party Hats, they seem to be the items most likely to hold their value, if not go up over 2 years. I already know I'll be selling my Divine, SGS, GWD Armor, etc since they will very likely be obselete upon my return. Rune, D Hide, and Barrows will be good enough as I catch up on 2 years of updates. Also, I'm not going into the MTC tomorrow or anything, I still have a few months or so I can play RS. I just thought I'd post this thread now and see what kind of responses I get. For reference, selling those items I mentioned at current prices would give me about an 830m cash pile, along with my White and Red Phat.

In case you're collecting data, I have killed about 16,854 with 32 Whips, 2 Heads, 2 D Spears, 2 D Meds, a Left Half, 5 D Stones, and 77 Half Keys.

Anyone know how hard it is to get a solo world? I can get a consistent 4-5 kills a trip with my Divine, and an extra 50k or so per trip would be really nice.

My list of favorites: Waterfall Temple of Light Temple Desecrated The Sound of Guthix Strength of Saradomin(First D Boot drop almost put me in tears, after a few hours of getting owned trying to solo Bandos and Sara) Understanding(before any of the music updates) Background(also before music updates) Animal Apogee(another near tears experience as I saw the obelisk light up for the first time)

I used a Granite Body and D Legs in my 85 Slayer screenie, and used them until I got Torso, then switched to Bandos soon after release. I differ from joe in that the Quest Cape was my first cape, I got 85 Slayer at lvl 112, then 90 at 116 or so. I got 75 RC way back in Sep 06 at like lvl 105 or so, and used that as my primary moneymaker for a while. I had 85 Mining, 85+ Slayer, and an RC level also in the 80s before getting my first 99, Fletching. I eventually got 83 Hunter to catch D Imps, and I've soloed over 1700 of the sort of bosses Joe would likely need a team for.

Sigh, here we go again. Fletching was my first 99, and I did get it in part for the cape, but I also intended to train Mage by alching my 50k or so bows. I even got up to 85 Mining beforehand so I could alch them all at the heros guild while mining Rune Ore. Now, with 83 Slayer, one can alch the bows while getting one hit in on a Sara Mage and letting the Gorak/Werewolf kill it. One of these days, I feel like running around in game with my White Phat, Divine, and Fletching Cape, see how many people call it nooby then.

I would pickpocket until I had about 2k or so, go to the GE, buy a Dueling Ring, tele to CW, buy 10 Box Traps at Yanille, then catch a few Chinchompas until I have enough to buy Larupia Gear and some Varrock Teles. From there, I could either Hunt straight to 1m, or hunt to a few hundred k, then buy Runecrafting supplies and RC my way to 1m.

Yes, 99 Str is the most common 99, but it's common for a very different reason than either Cooking or Fletching. With Cooking and Fletching, you have people who want an easy first 99. With 99 Str, you have arguably one of the most useful skills in the game. Str is one of the few skills that has benefits all the way up to 99. Since it makes training faster, it's logical that people would want to get it first on their way to eventual 138-ness. Also, you've got thousands of pures who got 99 Str to PK with.

The Divine Shield reduces all incoming damage by 30%. Half of that 30% is taken from my Prayer. This reduces Bandos's max to 25, and the Sarge maxes to about 14. So instead of the absolute max against me in one round being 35-20-20, it's now 25-14-14. Totally pwns the DFS.

On GE yes, in street price, no. Besides, Divine owns Elysian for GWD soloing.

Looks like I'm not the only one running up the lucky drops today . 10/10, 2 items in any GWD solo trip is epic.

There is, but it's not mandatory for 1-3 drops like on RSC. I always gave solo Hilts at GWD their own threads with no problems, so a drop like this is definitely getting it's own thread.

Couldn't believe my eyes, I was shaking for the next 5 minutes or so. 104th Corp drop, 1st Sigil. I'm going to keep it and make my dream shield, then see how good it is for solo GWD . FIRST KILL WITH DIVINE :shock:.

I filled my bank with the pouches and fires in my invo and hit the deposit all button. I needed to fill about 25 bank spots, so I just used some of my bars to make Steel/Mith junk.

I have sometimes asked myself what I would do if the prices of GWD items completely collapsed. The answer would either be RCing, killing TDs, or soloing whatever made God Wars crash.

Grats, solo sara is indeed ftw. Ive gotten 5 Hilts, 9 Swords in 921 kills, with the first Hilt on kill 63. Don't forget the D Boots you'll get on the way either.

Me and RC go way back. I got 75 RC September 2006, it was my main moneymaker back then and quite a respectable one in the pre-GWD era. I wanted 91 RC for a while, but I started chasing combat with 85 Slayer, then Dark Bows came out and I rushed to 90, then I bought 99 Prayer and decided to chase level 126 by Slayer. God wars came out, I got my 126, then Summoning comes out, and I want 138, plus I'm having uber soloing luck at God Wars, so I forgot about RC for a while. It's good to finally get 91 \. 91st Corp kill.

The last 2 trump anything in RS. This is still easily a 10/10, but the last 2 > RS.
