Another point is that even if someone wasn't 126 when Summoning came out, but got 126 before leveling Summoning, that some people would still be orange and red to them. Part of the fun of 126 then and 138 now was a few people being yellow and everyone else being green. In a few days of Summoning being out, 127-131s and such were all over the place. In fact I'm willing to bet that as soon as Jagex announced that 138 would be the new max, the top players got "Why aren't you 138?" from the noobs that swarm around them. I remember seeing the Crimson drop rate from Waterfiends and shaking in my chair. Started at Basilisks, then Jogres, Mith Drags, Metal Drags, back to Mith Drags, Nechs, then Waterfiends.

Well of course they can become 126 F2P, but they'll never experience the "OMG I just got max level" feeling at 126 that the old 126s got both when they became 126, and whenever they get 138. The newer people will have to wait for 138 for that.

Level 138: To me a "true" 126 is someone who got level 126 before December 20, 2007, the day it was announced that Summoning would affect combat levels. I think that because you had the incredible feeling of "Finally, the max level." As a 126 reading that, my response to it was "Yes, I'll master my Summoning and become 138, it's my divine right as a 126." I no lifed so much when Summoning came out that I was rank 14 with level 62 on the 3rd day. Most of my Charms were from Waterfiends and Slayer, I probably only did about 8-10k Bursts or so.

They double the rate at which you restore HP. And it stacks with Rapid Heal prayer. And an update today gave it +8 all attacks, +6 all defs, and +7 str. Sseli has a thread all about the new Regen Bracelet in General Discussion.

As I read this, my first thought was the Sara GWD glitch back in Feb that made me 350m in a week. And yet with all of these nerfs to Sara, I can STILL solo her a good 10-16 times per trip. And if I ever get an Elysian Spirit Shield, that number will probably go even higher.

I never mentioned this before on Tip.it, but now seems like a good time: As you can see I too got flamed for 98 Fletching. And this was April 17, 2007, back before string x. But he should have seen my other stats, I bet I owned him. I wonder how much I own him by now. Plus I wasn't just getting 99 for the cape, I wanted to Runite Alch my bows for Mage training. The easy first 99 was a bonus, but not the only reason I did it. 7/10 for 98 Fletching. Indeed, I got 99 Fletching 2 days later :.

Will Elysian/Divine shield be better than DFS for solo Arma and Sara?

Looks like about 2.3m, subtract about 240k or so for cannonballs and 60k for pots for 2m. Although Dark Bows may go up when PKing comes back. And the Charms are 22160 Summoning exp.

I was going to go near the Death Altar and flip the mirror to allow Dark Beast access from the Abyss, but as usual I forgot about it, and clicked my tele tab as soon as the task ended. Would you say it'd be quicker to go through the death altar to get there? I always bring my mourner outfit and go through the west ardougne entrance, but I feel it's such a hassle sometimes, and I always drop my set of mourner to allow more room for drops, so I have to stock up on tons of mourner clothing. lol. It won't be quicker unless you have Death Altar tele tabs, but it saves the hassle of having to deal with mourner. And in 1 Summoning level, I'll just use my Pack Yak to bank stuff like mourner.

This is the best junk item EVER. If I ever get a piece of 3rd Age or an Animal Mask from a clue, I will be down there in an instant mining it up until I have enough junk to get a good price for my item.

WHAT? We now have the ability to Chisel large blocks of Granite into 500g pieces :shock:? I tried that back in April or so after the Summoning update when I couldn't buy Granite 500g on the GE and had to mine my own. Edit: Looks like I missed the part about it, and about the new way to make 4 dose potions. That's what I get for just skimming updates.

I have 4 Poison Ivy bushes, my house is in Rimmington, and I have Wolpertingers. 32 berries per bush run ftw :.

Yew Seed + 10 Spines, about 80k for 7k or so exp. Magic Seed + 25 coconuts, about 150-180k for 13k or so exp. Calquat + 8 Poison Ivy Berries, 52-60k for 12k exp. Still worth it :thumbsup:.

Lugia solos GWD and picture taking :shock::

Prayer is pretty easy if you do what I did. That is, buy all the bones pre Piety in the land of autoers and gold farmers for 1.3k ea or less. Only about 61m or so for 74-99, and a solo D Chain, 5 new Dark Bows, random Barrowing, and my wealth before all of that were enough to buy 99 Prayer. Now, in the age of GWD, Prayer costs more, but money is way easier to get.

The penguins sound like a redux of Implings. Nice if you see them, but not worth it to look for them specifically.

Most 138's have both. :-# Would Slayer count? If not, then I guess I'll have to work on my Farming, since Fletching is nooby. And my Summoning so I actually become a 138.

137-138. I think there were enough 126s in December to justify saying 137-138 is like the 126s then.
