Would anyone be happy selling a day 1 D Claw drop for the starting price of 150k? Junk Trading exists because Jagex is WAY off with some of their GE prices. I think Elysian and Divine shields/sigils should instantly be changed to like 500m GE price. Because people are willing to pay that and more in 3rd age for them. you're not paying that price for those things you're buying them for ge prices and then making people buy all your useless junk too as far as networth, there is no change the only reason people see it as making more money is because they're selling all that junk and who says they're worth more than they're set for on the g.e. players seem more and more to think that jagex is clueless about prices and that putting prices in ranges only the extremely rich can ever afford is the correct way to do things runescape isn't meant to be exclusionary jagex doesn't want the items to be out of the reach of players who aren't into merchanting so they set items at a reasonable price then players decide "ZOMG J4G3X 1S T3H N00BZ0RZ taht itemz shud be moar!!!!" the reason things are the way they are now is because rich players are allowed to set the prices as they choose, thereby placing these items in a trade range only those who play the way they do can afford a casual runescape player will never be able to afford third age, even though it isn't even good armor, and is nowhere near as rare as it used to be The Dragon Plate started at 30m. It rose a bit due to novelty, and then freefalled to about 10m due to the Bandos Plate being better. The Claws on the other hand, started at 150k and have gone up as much as the GE will possibly allow, and will continue to go up because the spec flat out owns. 150k for an incredible weapon dropped rarely by a high level monster that requires all quests to access is ridiculous, and the GE clearly shows that. Likewise, 30m for something that isn't better than a 12m Bandos Plate is also ridiculous and it's plummet to 10m shows that. Spectral and Arcane shields started at 65m, Elysian and Divine started at 85m. Way too few sigils enter the game to change the GE fast enough to keep up with the incredible demand for the ownage Elysian and Divine shields, so while the GE prices went up some, demand is still far greater than the miniscule supply. As far as junk goes, I personally had a few k Addy Arrows P++ from when Zammy Boss had a safespot allowing you to solo without taking damage from 2 minions. I also had a few hundred Addy and Rune Javelins from Slayer. NOBODY buys those items, so the only way to sell them is with junk trading.

38k Granite? Who in their right mind would use Granite Lobsters all the way to 99? I switched to Spirit Dags at 83, Swamp Titans at 85, Wolpertingers at 92, Iron Titans at 95, and now Pack Yaks at 96. However, when I needed 500g granite, it was pretty soon after the second Summoning update, and it was hard to get on the GE, and you couldn't chisel large blocks down to size, so I mined a good bit myself, resulting in my having 86 instead of 85 mining.

96 Summoning and 98 Prayer is enough for level 138? I thought Summoning raised combat at the exact same rate as Prayer. Or do you have 97 Summoning now? Either way, grats on having a red 138 above your head now, 10/10 because 138 is ownage.

I remember the quest. Failed the obstacles a bunch of times, then got massively damaged at the end. Went out to get the mail after the quest and it actually felt like I(not my Runescape character, but me) was in the Underground Pass for 2 hours. Did Regicide afterward so I never had to go through the pass again. For MEP2 I believe I failed 14 times the first time and 3 the second time.

Solo Corp Beast might become possible. Doubt it though because of that darn stomp attack. And Runecrafters would be able to take even more ess to the altar per trip.

My reaction is to instantly run to the bank and grab super energies, sharks, and whatever else I might need to get to my grave ASAP. Died at Tormenteds yesterday thanks to a lag burst and due to some quick thinking on my part, I switched out the lens in my regular bullseye lantern to make another sapphire lantern. I made it back in time to save Slayer Cape, Neitiznot Helm, all Charms except Gold, the Rune items, and the Pony scrolls.

Better make it unsoloable like Corp Beast or I guarantee you I'd be there day and night soloing it. Yes, Slayer definitely needs a new 90+ monster. Something around the difficulty of mith drags would work well. Imo it should drop high leveled armour since most slayer monsters drop weapons. : Sounds good, since I can easily kill 20 or so Mith Drags a trip with Pony. But if it drops high level armor, it might make GWD obselete.

I kind of have an obsession with "becoming more powerful", as do some others around my level. Case in point, I bought Bandos Tassets when they were like 16.5m mostly for the +2 str bonus they gave. I bought a BGS at 43m to have a Godsword. And now with all the money I've made soloing GWD, of course i'm going to use the high end items. I'd be using a Divine or Elysian shield if I could ever get my hands on one. Edit: I personally used DFS over Defender after 88 Summoning when I sold my Guthan. I like to use fighter familiars for most multicombat tasks, and since I don't have Guthan, the extra Defense really helps.

The day I got both 60 Attack and 43 Prayer. At that point, I knew that the doors to many quests would be thrown open. Sometime in late 05/early 06 When I found a Verac Helm 0 on the ground at the Ectofuntus. My eyes just lit up when I saw someone offer 1.9 MILLION for them(was like level 70 or 75 or something). Early 06 When I got full Guthan after some pretty major Barrows luck(V Helm, K Coif, V Brassy, and Full Guth no Helm in 64 chests) and did a Fire Giant Task and pretty much every task after that without banking for food. Mid 06 I think. Getting my first 99, Fletching. April 22 2007 The day I read about the Dark Bow coming out. I was dreading getting my wisdom teeth out that day, but reading about the Dark Bow erased all my dread. I was back on the computer no lifing Slayer from 88 the same day. June 1-11 2007. December 13 2007 The day I found out the red 126 above my head would get even bigger with Summoning. And then seeing myself on the front page of Summoning after some serious no lifing. December 20 2007-January 18 2008 When I saw someone using the Sara glitch and used it to get 2 Swords and 3 Hilts before it got nerfed. Early February 2008 Getting 99 Slayer. May 17 2008 Getting level 138 before moving from Maryland to Utah. October 8 2008

I didn't care how bad Summoning started off as. It made the red 126 above my head go up, so I was happy. Also, because I no lifed so much at the start for a bigger red number, I got my first front page high score ever. For a while, I had envisioned that the 126 level cap would eventually pop like a soda cap. I was overjoyed on December 20, 2007 when I saw that it would indeed pop and go to 138. Got my 138 in October, but still a ways from 99. All in all a great skill that ties in nicely with my favorite skill, Slayer.

Incredible. I started around August 05, very near the cutoff date to access RSC. So while I can play it, I never knew the real RSC back in 02 or so. I've played RSC some and I see how much harder it is than RS2. 10/10 for sure.

Some Dragon drops are still special. Like Dragon Claws at Tormented Demons. And I still think Dragon Boot drops are special even after getting like 124 of them.

Looking for a 3a piece as I only have about 5m junk. But I'm not sure if 3a crashed or not, so I might just wait for the GE price to rise.

Killed 19 Demons that trip, my best so far. Got a 47-48 hit with D Hally spec this trip but wasn't expecting it, so didn't screenie.

I have rather limited computer access where I live currently, and I'm not about to go buy a Laptop just for RS. My Wii does have the Internet, but I doubt it could run RS due to no java. Plus, RS with the Wii Remote would be really weird.

Why do I keep getting connection losses when I play RS at the library? They're only for a few seconds or so, but they get very annoying and almost completely eliminate my ability to kill anything dangerous. I'm in Orem, Utah, so I'm wondering if it's just a local thing or if most or all libraries have this problem. I'm also wondering if going to the nearby Provo or Pleasant Grove library would solve this. Orem's library runs on wireless, I imagine a lot of other libraries also run on wireless.

HOLY [cabbage] :shock:! Dragon Plates are really out? I'm so signing on to do this quest, and the ones I need to get to 270 QP. 10/10, since I imagine there's intense competition for these demons or whatever now.

Although you have a point on usefulness, you have to also look at several other factors. First off, I'd bet that most people that own a party hat(s) already had most of the other items that you listed to go along with it. Secondly, the prices for phats, and rares in general, generally only went up before the removal of pking and staking and their subsequent price crashes while the prices of the other items generally only go down. Once they finally hit bottom (this is possibly it), they should restart this gradual climb and become the most reliable long-term investment like they were before. Exactly. I own a Red and White and all the items MadmanPur3 mentioned, except for all 4 Godswords, which would be pointless as Sara is the only one I really use. And the biggest reason I like Partyhats is their long term investment potential, anyone who read my post on the quitting/taking a break sticky will know why.

I still do them because I can knock them out in a good 10-15 minutes. Whip/Barrows/DFS, the infinite run pool, and Lunar Book with 99 Mage all own for clues. Not to mention the fact that I memorized pretty much every non coordinate level 3 clue, and have a locator handy for the coordinates :.
