When I started Mining and Smithing, I mined in Varrock, went down to Al Kharid, went through the gate, smelted at Lumby, went back through the gate, then up to Varrock to smith. Not only did I not know about the furnace in Al Kharid, I didn't know about the road that went right from Lumby to Varrock :wall:. 20 gp a trip was quite a lot for me then. Then later on when I could smith Steel, I made Short Swords and sold at Varrock until I had enough to buy a Rune Pick. Getting the Rune Pick was pretty cool, but I didn't know at the time that Steel Bars were 500-600 ea. I only got about 150 for each Sword I sold #-o.

I started Astral crafting about a day before this thread appeared. 35k exp per hour? I'm sorry but that would be like 8k Astrals an hour :shock:. Zarfot said in his 14 or so page RSOF guide to 75-91 RC that Astrals are about 24-26k exp an hour. String amulet spell was pretty cool, I remember sometimes finding ammys at a general store for 100 ea .That's gone now, but it looks like people still like the spell. I'll be Astral crafting until 91 or until Summoning is out 8-).

99 Fletching was my first 99. I wore the cape because it was better than my "I picked flax for 3 hours" cape(Obby Cape when flax was 100 ea). But before I got my 99 Fletching, I got 85 Mining(possibly a bigger accomplishment than 99 Fletching) in order to alch my 40k+ bows at the Heros Guild rune rocks. In 2 months time, I had another 99. Attack by Slayer instead of PC. I instantly housed my Fletch cape when I got that cape. Then in about another month, I got my first "real" 99, Prayer. I've worn either that cape or the Fire Cape I got in September ever since, seeing as my only other 99s are Fletching and the 4 Melee stats.

That better be a typo as 99 Attack by Slayer instead of PC is quite respectable. 9/10 for not PCing \.

Is 91 RC still worth it? Nats are like 250-260 and may drop further. 9.5/10, 10/10 if nats go back up.

I started 2007 around level 108-109 training Slayer to get 85. I got it January 22 at level 112 for the earliest 07 stat screenshot I have: 1800 total. February 26: Got 85 Mining in order to Runite Alch all the bows I would have from my 99 Fletching goal. March 29: An example of Runite Alching and also me getting 90 Mage. March 30: 99 Fletching, my first 99. April 19: 70+ in every skill. April 30: While Runite Alching, I started a day by losing out on 4 ores in a row. I was sick of that and decided to solo the KQ. On my first kill of the day, and my 27th solo kill ever, I got what was the best drop in the game. May 4: 90 Slayer, 3 days before the Dark Bow. June 8: 99 Attack, second 99. June 18: 94 Mage mostly by Runite Alching the bows from 99 Fletch. June 25: 1900 total. July 13: 99 Prayer, 3rd 99 and one of the reasons I decided to chase level 126. The other reason was the announcement of God Wars Dungeon. July 28: 99 Str, 4th 99 and just in time for God Wars. August 25: 99 HP, 5th 99. September 10: Finally got the Fire Cape. Got it on 3rd try, 89 Range and 99 Prayer owns Jad, lol. September 13: First major GWD drop. solo Bandos door glitch owned, lol. Kill 80. September 18: Another Plate from the solo door glitch. Kill 143. September 19: 99 Def, 6th 99 and level 126 at last. October 5: 80 Hunter. I immediately made Hunter Pots to become a Dragon Imp catcher. October 9: The removal of the solo door glitch didn't stop me from getting my 3rd Bandos Plate. Kill 150. October 10: My best Clue Scroll EVER. October 14: First good drop from soloing Armadyl. Kill 7. October 21: First good drop from soloing Sara. Kill 5. November 28: The drop of all drops. Kill 66. December 13: World 6 Bandos ownage with the AGS. December 13: My first Party Hat. December 19: 96 Slayer, my last Slayer level of 07. December 24: Goals for 2008: 138 Combat 99 Range 99 Mage 99 Slayer 91 RC Soloing any new high level combat related updates

New Lugia on the block? 10/10 for solo hilt.

GWD because I soloed 200m+ in drops. About 60-70% or more of my current bank value is due to GWD. Also to Dragonlordjl, I consider the Dark Bow to be a high level update. It made many(myself included) rush Slayer to 90.

Pro: PC products are gonna get OWNED :twisted:. Maxed combat will finally mean something again and there should be way fewer "noob" 138s than noob 126s today.

Dare I ask what would happen in you soloed any type of Hilt :shock:? 9.5/10, great drop but devalued due to Bandos Plates.

- Not a clue as I probably ripped myself off by moving too quickly, I would say 20m or so max. - Graardor. Although you could probably run up the kills on the minions, they have bad drops and a very low rate on armor. Graardor has a way higher drop rate and much better "bad" drops. - For Slayer, yes as you save money on food/Prayer pots/Guthan usage. For Bandos World 6, no as you need the power of AGS to get a good chance at kills. However I believe Bandos W6 has become a waste of time due to more and more AGS users. In closing, the Sara spec does the same thing from hitting 1-20, healing 10 HP and 5 Prayer, more if it's above a 20 hit. For AGS, well anything 1-20 is considered horrible, you have to spec on a high hit for it to be any good.

Yep, I sold AGS then bought SGS, Bandos W6 was becoming quite a waste of time.

WHAT? No DFS? Does that mean the extra 70 or so of Melee Def and 10 of Mage Def isn't worth it?

World 6 Bandos does have off hours but there's usually at least 5 or more high levels there. For Armadyl, those stats could do the solo, but they're inconsistent with the ones in your sig/the highscores.

That's what I was worried about, the loss of trust from a good friend is worse than losing any amount of money in RuneScape. Keep in mind, that 400+ number simply means the number of GWD bosses I've soloed, not the number of any specific boss. I've only killed 66 Arma bosses solo :o. The other numbers are 215 Bandos(143 during the big door glitch), 142 Zammy(all before the corner trick got taken out), and 24 Sara.

I think I'm gonna be sick as well :-X. If that hapened to me, I probably would have broken my computer. This is why I dropped vials/switched to using a few Sharks when I soloed Armadyl. That and I was scared sick of randoms, even though you can't get them in GWD #-o.

I didn't do it :anxious:. You got a Plate from a mini, best I got was a Shard. Although maybe the simple act of being at W6 Bandos with me is lucky. Got Boots that trip so better than usual.

I have 74 Smithing so that's why I use Addy Bolts. I will use a full Restore getting the KC, so I drop the vial and pick up something else, a Clue if I'm lucky. For the boss, I switch to Ruby Bolts and DFS, pot up, and activate the 4 Prayers I mentioned in my last post. The 6 Sharks are there so I can get some good Range potted ownage in before I have to brew. The boss will usually Melee me whenever I heal, I try to counter that by reclicking attack and firing a bolt after each Brew/Restore dose. I switch to Diamond Bolts when the boss is at half HP. Depending on spec haxes, how much the boss hits me, and if the Sarges drop food or not, I can sometimes kill 2 bosses per trip. However it is pretty depressing to watch a diamond bolt spec hit 1-5, I've even seen specs hit 0 before.

Yes, considering a good bit of TSG hates me as well.
