  1. Actually more like 8.5/10 seeing as I killed a level 1 rat instead of a level 2 man :P. I wonder what their Slayer lvl is. Probably nowhere near 90 or even 85 .
  2. Yes, I didn't want my screenie to be ruined due to my still being in combat. I read that that was the reason some people hit things like 99 Attack on a Chicken. It only has 3 hp, so you're almost guaranteed to 1 hit it. I figured a Rat in Lumby would be even better at only 2 hp. I ended up getting exactly 13,034,431 exp too :XD:.
  3. \. I didn't PC my Attack *points to 90 Slayer*. I mostly trained it with Slayer or more recently, by camping at Dark Beasts and Skeletal Wyverns. Fletching made me some money especially considering I got 85 Mining just so I could mine rune while I alched all the bows :D. I'll be wearing my Attack Cape from now on, seeing as Fletching just got even easier :wall:. Rate/hate/appreciate.
  4. Am I out of my mind to want Slayer exp and drops that CANNOT be obtained at PC? I think not. Anyway, D scimmy on slayer tasks. Slayer Exp and an extra super pure set .
  5. Full Verac with Ahrim and ancients for Verac. I keep most of the runes for more profit. I do 3-4 chest opens per trip and use a super set every chest open. I ancient verac in order for my food to last 3-4 chest opens.
  6. I want 99 Prayer too and I sometimes check out the D Bone trading scene in W2. Whenever I see someone selling bones cheaply I think he's probably scamming but I just have to trade him in case he's a legit cheap seller . In that state of mind, I can detect big bones over dragon bones on the first trade screen.
  7. More people have str and attack  Some of them are F2P and cannot buy the cape. Fletching however is members only. But with PC, those 2 cape sellers in the warriors guild are going to get very rich.
  8. Without the Ring of Wealth, I have gotten from 1630 Dark Beasts: 5 Dark Bows 9 Death Tallys 1 Dragon Spear 13 Rune Chains 9 Half Keys 8 Rune Full Helms 1 Rune Square 1 Rune Battleaxe 1 Rune Spear 1 Runite Bar I used a Warrior Ring the whole time 8-).
  9. Definately not. I can make about 400-500k an hour with my RC lvl. I highly doubt I could save 400-500k an hour collecting any type of raw material by myself as opposed to buying it.
  10. Finally another bow 8-). No Rune Ore though because I forgot Pickaxe :wall:.
  11. Still killing Dark Beasts, just got my 5th Dark Bow 8-). Also only about 1.4m away from 99 Attack and trimmed skill cape \.
  12. I think the air cape should make you run faster. Not reduce your weight, actually make your character run faster than someone not wearing the cape. Perhaps it could have an agility requirement of like 50 or 70 and be a reward from the Brimhaven Agility Arena. About the same number of tickets as a Pirate Hook.
  13. I remember when I started RS, I made money via Mining and Smithing. I would mine in Varrock, go down to Al-Kharid, go through the gate, smelt the ore in Lumby, go back through the gate, and go back to Varrock to hammer the bars. Bronze stuff didn't get a lot at the general store, especially since I was spending an unnecessary 20 gp a run. Didn't know about the Al Kharid furnace or the other road to Lumby . As I got up to steel smithing I remember seeing a Rune Pickaxe for 32k and thinking, that's crazy , I'll just stick with my Addy Pickaxe. But for some reason I decided to get the Rune Pickaxe. I got it by smithing steel swords and selling to Varrock sword shop and by making silver bars/holy symbols and selling to general stores. Didn't know that the steel bars could get me 500-600 each from other players. Somehow after that I eventually found better and better ways to train and make money and here I am today. The 32k I thought was crazy is now a mere 4-5 minutes of my Runecrafting time, a few lesser drops of a high level monster, or a direct reward from a level 3 clue. I don't think it's even been two years since I started. Farming was out when I started and that waterbirth island update looks strangely familiar :-k. Making a noob account doesn't work because now I know that cowhides are 100-150 ea and big bones are like 300 ea.
  14. I lost track of all the time I spent down there. I estimate it to be somewhere around 20-30 hours though. Anyway, I killed about 1190 with 4 Bows, 8 Death Tallys, 10 Rune Chains, 1 Rune Square(rarer than bow I think .), 3 Rune Full Helms, 1 Runite Bar, 5 Half Keys, and a whole lot of Rune Ore(thank you 85 Mining :).) However I also died down there once due to not paying attention :(. Lost about 1.2m of stuff and a potential Dark Bow drop although highly unlikely. I will not stop dark beast hunting unless the price drops too low. I bought 1k ranarrs before this update with the intent to use them on dark beasts. Also less than 2m exp away from 99 Attack and a trimmed cape :D.
  15. I've seen two different implings near Lletya. I think they were nature and young ones.
  16. Finally got a third Dark Bow :D. Also special thanks to ihminen for buying 2 of my Death Tallys 75k ea :).
  17. Go hate the lucky people that got a bow like 5 minutes after the update. They could easily sell for double the price I got for both my bows =/.
  18. I spent about 10-11 hours at the Dark Beasts yesterday. I killed about 400 and got 2 Dark Bows. I sold the first one for 6.1m because of stupid manipulators making me think it was a good price. I was also scared of the price crashing way further. The second one was sold for 7.1m.
  19. I know, stupid price manipulating noobs were throwing me off :x. My second trip flat out stunk and my third one isn't looking much better. Although that Dark Bow was on the last kill before I planned to tele anyway :P.
  20. I was scared of prices continuing to fall, so I took the highest offer I saw. Soon afterwards my friend messages me saying some guy traded a PURPLE PHAT for one of the bows . I didn't even go to the phat section, I just stayed near the tele spot and statue :(.
  21. Kill 94, end of trip 1, sold for 6.1m: Kill 332, end of trip 4, sold for 7.1m: Trip 7 I think, starting to lose count. Don't know kill number since I stayed to finish my trip because prices are stabilizing. Sold for 4m and a D Sq, then sold the D Sq for 950k, so 4.95m: About kill 1150. Before getting this bow, I died due to not paying attention and getting logged off :(. I'm guessing my prayer ran out and I got meleed to death . Logged back in Fally without my Guth Cloak, Warrior Ring, quest items, and Dark Beast loot. Luckily I kept my Whip, Fury, and Gloves so I didn't lose anything big unless I missed a Dark Bow Drop :ohnoes:. Bought back Warrior Ring for 410k, and a Zammy Cloak for 1m. Will sell Zammy Cloak in 2 Attack lvls :). Sold for 5.4m: Wasn't expecting this, much rarer than a Bow: Forgot my Rune Pick so no Rune Ore this trip :(. Did get 5th Bow though :D. Sold for 4.5m:
  22. For the person who wanted the Dark Bow examine info: Sold that bow 6.1m :D.
  23. They better have at least 87 Slayer if they intend to kill any real number of dark beasts per trip. Dark Beasts take about 45 seconds to a minute to kill each. I can just imagine the fun an 85 Slayer would have . I was between 88 and 89 when the behind the scenes came out. I got 90 because I knew I would have a huge advantage over even an 89 Slayer with pies.
