Good job on making the climb to 90 Slayer =D>. I was also 88 when the behind the scenes came out, but I was a bit farther from 89 than you were. I did some serious lunar slayer with a cannon to get 90. Stinks to rush to a lvl then find out it's worthless :(. I was a noob when dark beasts came out though, so it didn't affect me :P.

I once got the connection loss while cannoning a dagannoth task. I was using black mask, obby cape, fury ammy, whip, rune pl8, rune defender, d legs, barrows gloves, rune boots, warrior ring with full guthan in my invo. I survived it but with only 15 hp left. Had I died, I think I would have kept Fury and Guthan plate and skirt. I would have lost about 10-12m of stuff :ohnoes:. Now I have replaced the rune pl8 and d legs with Guthan plate and skirt in case of another connection loss.

Thanks :D. I remember when I first found out about Slayer I was like :shock:, I can train another skill directly alongside combat? I'm so doing this to level. I didn't want to train at PC because of no slayer exp. I didn't want to live at the abyssals at 85 Slayer because of no slayer exp and the fact that my 75-90 Runecraft made more money. Throw in the occasional cannon/range task while training my slayer and that's how I have my low melee stats for my slayer lvl. I actually used an amulet of glory for most of my tasks. Edgeville was my hub city during my slayer rush because of the easy fairy ring access. House tele tabs would have worked too seeing as I have a mounted glory and 2 portal chambers. I also had 93 Mage and mage pots, giving me access to spellbook swap which OWNS for doing clue scrolls :).

I had two negative dreams about rs. In one I lagged during a gargoyle task while guthaning and on low hp. Next thing I knew I was in Fally without a spear or helm. I ran back to the slayer tower as fast as I could but didn't get back in time. That's when the slayer tower shattered and I woke up with my Guthan safely banked. In the other, I was coming back from the wildy with a load of rune ore, when some guy with an ancient staff and ahrim attacks and pks me. Weird seeing as I never mine rune in the wildy. And recently, I've been having a lot of dreams about dark beasts, dark bows, and selling them for 50m+.

Meh, it's worth a shot though :P. I remember when D2Hs came out, people were trading like red masks for them. I heard some even traded phats for them :shock:. Dark Bow seems like it's going to be way better than D2H. Good luck on the race to 90, Sxq and Campbell. Also good luck on your exams. It stinks that they might seperate you from the update if it falls on the wrong monday :(.

\. I was between 88 and 89 when the behind the scenes came out. I switched to lunar and used a cannon for super fast exp. Ended up getting like 600-800k Slayer exp in a week. Still have time before the update so I think I'll altar my banked d bones and make some prayer pots. After that, selling all dark bows 50-100m :twisted:.

No need to have pity on me either Toxic. I am 84,660 exp away from 90 Slayer. At the rate I've been going, I'll have 90 sometime today or Saturday.

I wish I could race you but i'm within 5 digits of 90. Been doing some serious no-lifing on lunar with a cannon to pull it off :XD:. If your dark beast luck is anything like your solo kq luck, you'll be rich in no time, lol. The Dark Bow update was announced in behind the scenes this month. It will fire dragon arrows, require 60 range to hold, and will be dropped by the 90 slayer dark beasts. Someone like me or Sxq will be selling them for like 50m :twisted:.

305k away from 90 Slayer. The earliest this update can arrive is Monday. I'm going to have to get 75k exp every day for the next 4 days. Sounds possible with my lunar slayer rush :). If the update isn't any time next week, then I have it locked :D.

Guy-Lih-Nore. Gielinor is the name Guthix gave to Runescape when he first created it. The Void Knights honor him by saying Gielinor.

Took a break from slayer to get 93 Mage. Now I can get a guaranteed spellbook swap cast with mage potions. Blogscape moves a lot faster than rate this, lol :anxious:.

How many nechs was that? And why is your super set undrunk :-k? Best nech trip I remember was 2 Rune Boots and like 10-15 herb seeds. Good luck on 90 Slayer before the update. You better hope it's not in 1 week :ohnoes:.

Lol at all abby campers that need 5 lvls to my 2 :lol:. Almost 89 Slayer and the update is at least a week away. 89 with pies is a definate lock. 90 is a strong possibility.

Those RC macroers are scary. What's next? Clue Scroll macroers? SLAYER macroers? :ohnoes:. I plan to get 90 Slayer and camp at dark beasts once the dark bow update hits. Lol, I can only hope that a macro would be banned before reaching 90 Slayer. Go with A because doing anything for 100 hours on end gets boring. Also, I like the dolphin too :).

I voted fremmy. Fremmy isles was one of the best quests ever. Taxation without representation ftw. Also the guards on shouting and insult duty, lol. And on a serious note, Neitiznot was where I strung bows for 99 fletch. Every 12 minutes I would take a break to mine the rune rock.

91. It's a new york server so it's close to me, some of my friends play there, and the number means double nats.

I'm one of those 500+ getting 90 because of this update. Had 85 slayer since january and decided to comtinue training it instead of abyssal camping. I laugh at all those abyssal demon campers that need 5 lvls when I only need 2 :lol:.

Hope you got something good in your 3rd trip. My first 2 solo trips were poo just like yours, then on my 3rd trip I got zerker ring \.

Axe, thank you SO MUCH for this guide . I was reading it before I got 85 Slayer and trying to decide whether to continue Slayer or camp at Abbys. I decided to train slayer further and now dark beasts will get a good drop this month \. 88 Slayer atm and in a mad rush for 90. I'm also laughing at everyone that stayed at 85 to abby camp :lol:.

New goal: 90 Slayer. I always knew it was a good idea to train slayer past 85. Thank you to a certain lvl 99 slayer with an awesome slayer guide for writing in his guide that abyssal demon camping is like cutting your throat . Once i'm at 90 and the update arrives, I will dark beast camp as long as I can get good dark bow prices. Unfortunately this puts Mage and RC on hold :(, but it's for a good cause :D.
