Coors Light is ace, cheapest pint at my local bar and the bottles are pretty reasonable priced at the supermarket. Other than that I usually go for Becks as far a beer is concerned. Also it is quite daft (no offence) to say people don't drink for the taste, take Liqueurs as an example, they taste so so nice. Limoncello is one of the nicest drinks ever. I think I will find a bottle for my mum's birthday (as long as they dont sell it in supermarkets, which would make it quite a crap present whereas if I order it off the internet it will seem like I have gone to great lengths to get it :mrgreen: )

Speaking of wine, did anyone watch Oz & Jamses' Big Wine adventure when that was on? That was a great programme, really funny and learnt some interesting stuff about wine. Never really drink wine though, drink beer and spirits and 9 times out of ten it is to get drunk. Alot of my family are alcoholics so I am always careful of the times I drink, I very rarely drink on my own so it is usually a night out when I drink, hence getting pretty drunk.

Happy new year to all. Me and a few friends are just going round a few pubs tonight. We are having a bad outfit night so I was down the charity shops yesterday, got an awful short sleeved shirt & tie and a pair of tweed trousers that are 5" too short for me. :mrgreen:

Never witnessed anything massively bad, worst I've seen really was me getting battered. I had had a bit of a scrap with a guy earlier and he had left. Then once I got outside he was there with four or five lads. They punched me to the floor and then did it again when I got up. I bled quite a bit and had a messed up face for a week or so, but nothing major in comparison to what other people may have seen. I also had a bit of a scrap the other night but it was outside a club and swiftly broken up by the bouncers.

Just be careful not to grow a tumor instead, I've heard they are horrific...

Dragonsoon: The series are great, the first pretty much follows the book but is a bit better. However the second and third series don't follow the books at all. I still prefer the second book to the second series but thought the third book wasn't that great at all while the third series had maintained the high standard the previous two series have set out. Talking about most recent episode (311 i think): [hide=]The beginning of the episode surprised me but I should have guessed really. I think it was a bit of an anti-climax in the end getting Miguel, however we don't know how he will dispose of him yet and what will happen with the skinnerand stuff. I trust it will all wrap up well in the last episode next week.[/hide] Oh and Rita is so so very fine.

I suppse so, the arguments on TIF tend just just go round and round in circles, it's why I never really post in the serious threads (plus I cba/am not very good at constructing a decent argument).
