  1. Mhm, my understanding of the question was that he was looking for a method that didn't include mining iron and having to drop it. In any case, now having looked at the user's summoning level I believe the "best" advice is this Golvellius' suggestion of using a kyatt for the iron at piscatoris.
  2. I never claimed anything is the best for anyone. The OP asked for a non-dropping method of mining, and I simply answered some with suggestions. You can agree or disagree with them as you please, and come up with your own suggestions too. If you wish to discuss off-topic efficiency and whether or not you believe my mining+superheating in the LRC is in-efficient or not, or the why sc for mining is efficient, you're quite welcome to pm me, or to create a thread on the subject on these forums. This thread is not the place for that.
  3. I believe you do get xp for every ore you recieve.
  4. As been raised by others, dropping is more hassle than quick banking, and the OP asked for a method without dropping. To get back to concentrated gold: less clicking, less paying attention, comparable xp in mining to granite (I believe I get around 60k/hr when semi-afk mining). Add the magic and smithing xp from superheating and there is no need to even consider granite as that demands constant paying attention and clicking (and can offer less overall xp). Also, there is no need to attempt to flame me. Seeing how the "best" methods always are opinions, all you have to do is to agree to disagree. That's fine, but there's no need to be rude. Oh, and while we're on the topic of stupid rhetorical questions, I appear the only one with 99 mining here (aside from izakiwi2), so who do you think has more experience with the skill? To get back on topic, as izakiwi2 noted, star hunting is great for variety, and since you're P2p you might want to use Varrock armour from the Varrock Achievement Diary for faster ores.
  5. Seriously? Seriously? The fastest xp is granite, and anything other than that is a dramatic loss of xp. Banking iron is what, like 40k xp/hour and 250k gp/hour max? You lose a good 15k xp per hour for a nominal amount of cash. The fastest xp is concentrated gold. Anyway, I disagree with the statement that "mining for money is a waste", because it simply isn't, especially not for lower leveled players. Runite mining also has been one of the fastest money-making methods in F2p for a long time. As for P2p, there is absolutely no reason why someone should grind his way through the "most efficient methods money-wise". <_< This is a game, not a list of tasks to be completed as fast as possible. Also, I would like to see the person who could achieve this without a supply of money:
  6. Religion. Light bulb.
  7. Hi doodlebug, Added the location and credited you, thanks! If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
  8. Oh my bad. I guess I wasn't paying attention. xD Anyway, added the locations to the treasure trails guide and credited you, thanks! If you have any further questions, feel free to pm me or any of the crew.
  9. I've personally seen a person wearing a woodcutting skillcape and quickchatting is woodcutting level in the low 20s, so I'm guessing this is plausible (or Jagex is doing something else wrong again). Anyway, I think the only action to take it to permanently ban any and all bots, and start banning them sooner after it has been detected. I also agree with this:
  10. Bad movies. Penguin.
  11. P2p players can change their name once a month through account management. If someone were to have been using your account they might try to get it back though.. That situation shouldn't have occured in the first place.
  12. It does, just make sure you know your first password, other passwords, answers to your recovery questions and whatnot.
  13. Mining the iron the way I described in my above post or mining coal+mithril and superheating as you do would probably be decent.
  14. This.
  15. The only godsword that was useful to me was SGS. Although I use it less often (because I have EE as well) it still has its occasional use, and thus deserves the vote.
  16. First: are you F2p or P2p? Without knowing that I would recommend mining iron and use the resource dungeon for the deposit box. That way you'll have some money to show for your "pain".
  17. They would be referring to this item. The godswords got cheaper because many use/want to use that, or weapons like it instead. You might want to check out this page for the new rewards. All of them are listed in the above linked guide.
  18. Broad bolts from slayer masters would earn you 9k xp in a minute or two and a fair profit, but can only be done once a day. I'm not sure how profitable buying unfinished broad bolts from the grand exchange is, but it's also an option. Adamant arrows would be good, but since it's not likely the arrowheads would buy it would be rather costly. Buying yew logs to make is also possible: if you were to buy logs and bowstrings it is fairly cheap xp, and I believe unstrung bows to bows is break-even to a small profit. They also alc for 768 Gp, which is about 100 Gp above the g/e price, so you could also alc them for magic experience.
  19. I agree with Quyneax for the most part. Slayer is good. For money you could always do herb runs (farming) between tasks so you can upgrade to better equiptment.
  20. It's been said, but could you please just read the replies instead of continue to randomly repeating the same questions? Edit (added one of the points you appear to have missed):
  21. Bad entertainment. Mouse.
