  1. Which slayer master do you go to usually for tasks? Chaeldar How long does each task set usually take to do? Usually around 1.5 hours. I always take a break when I get a level 3 clue, but other than that i stay till I am done the assignment. What do you do or use to complete your tasks? Black Mask, Best Melee Armor I got, and Guthans. What is the best drop you've gotten from your slayers tasks? I got D legs and D med earlier on tasks, but yesterday I got 3 level 3 clue scrolls and a whip from an Abby Demon assignemnt \
  2. Go to Edgeville World 99. That is the Tip.It hangout. Look for a name you recognize from the forums and ask them. More than likely, they will be RCing and will have several Charged Glories on them.
  3. It's definitely worth it if you have done Royal Trouble. Its a great source of cheap raw materials.
  4. You just have to kill him as quickly as possible. When the helpers start showing up, you have 3 attack types hitting you for 20+ damage per hit. Once this happens, you don't have much of a chance. So you want to take a Super Attack, Super Strength, and the best strength enhancing armor you got. Go right after him, eat when you have to, and use a 1-click tele device (like an ectophial), in case you can't finish him off.
  5. Best thing to do is to just 3 item the first time you fight each monster. That way you will have a good feel for how hard each one of them are (and if you get lucky, you may actually kill a few).
  6. I was hunting Orange Salamanders deep in the desert when some level 44 wanders over and asked me if this was the POLAR hunting area!! How clueless can you get?
  7. You can melee them, but they will hit you pretty frequently so you will probably want to use Guthans to heal. Since the Cave Horrors have a magic based attack, use your Guthans on the Albino Bats.
  8. I think the reason that the mask only affects melee is that there is a Defense trade-off. With your +15% Attack and Strength bonus, you get a piece of headgear that gives no Defense at all. So if you want to make this work for Mage and Range, you need to come up with some sort of trade-off with them as well.
  9. There are certain places that are loaded with randoms. The two that come to mind are cooking in Rogue's Den and cutting Willows in Draynor.
  10. According to the Beastiary, you don't need the elemental shield if you are praying melee. Are you sure that it is needed? If not, the rune defender would be a lot better choice.
  11. Go to Shilo and take a chisel. Any gem that you get that you don't want, just chisel it into stackable bolt tips. And wear a charged glory to further increase your chances of getting a normal gem.
  12. A few things... Spirit Trees are level 83, not 82. The easiest way to get to Miscellania is by Fairy Ring (CIP). It takes you just North of the Miscellania Castle. For mushrooms, use CKS on the Fairy Rings, not BKR. The quickest way to get to the Cactus patch is by Duel Ring (and don't forget the gnome glider option) Calquats are not used as farmer payments.
  13. You do not need to speak to the NPC everytime you get a Rune Defender. You can throw away your other Defenders, but most people keep an Addy one in case they accidently lose all of there Rune Defenders.
  14. OK, I am level 38 Hunter and I was wondering what would be the fastest XP at this level and at which level I should switch to something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  15. Yew and Magic Roots can be used in Herblore. All tree roots can be used to make crossbow strings.
  16. At 80+ Farming you only need a Garden Pie to pot the seeds (and maybe water them). You don't need a Pie to plant the saplings.
  17. Go to World 2, just east of the Falador East Bank. 3 dose p pots sell for 6-7K and 4 dose p pots sell for 8K. I sell there all the time and I have never seen anybody there try to sell 3 dose pots for 8K.
  18. Unless you are planning on doing a lot of Ranging and Maging, your Attack, Strength, and Defense will be a lot higher than what you have set as your goals. Good luck on getting 85. I have been working on it for a while too. 2 more levels to go :D
  19. What grinds my gears is the entire trading system in RS. I make most of my money selling Potions in World 2. Here's the things that bother me the most: No matter how many types of Potions I have to sell, I can only advertise one at a time because there is no way to chat with the intended buyer in a crowded area. When someone offers to trade with me, the other person puts up an amount that is not divisible by the amount that I am selling. At this point my only option is to decline the trade. The other day someone was offering Rannar seeds for 15K each. I offer to trade, he throws up 15 Rannar seeds, I throw up 225K and we both hit Accept. Sure enough on the second screen, he is now selling me 15 Toadflax seeds. So I start writing his name down to report him, but its just a bunch of random, similar looking letters and numbers and he declines before I can finish writing his name down. And of course at that point I was only left with the meaningless "The other player has declined" message. When I first got my Santa hat, I was so proud that I wore it to sell Potions. Of course someone immediately stood on top of me and said "Giving away my Santa - Berrakus". Of course I had to leave the area because of the flood of trade requests. When someone says "Buying X Potion - 5K ea" and I click on them and there are about 20 people on that spot. So I stand next to them, repeatedly saying "Sell X Potion - 5K each - Berrakus", and they do nothing. I'm sure there are more, but those are the main ones I can think of.
  20. I love how we can't make or buy from a store unid herbs, but almost every single monster in the game drops them. Where do they get them???
  21. Law talismans are not tradable.
  22. It also has cheap Attack, Strength, and Defense potions, and really cheap potato with cheese
  23. Can I offer a few tips? For the Green Dragon Hides, if you stand outside the East Fally bank on World 2, you can easily buy them for 1.5K ea and sometimes even 1.4K ea. Start at 1.4K, then go up to 1.5K. Do this a few trips and you will probably have all the hides you need. If not, just buy the rest off the forums for 1.6K ea to get you to your total amount. And I know that you are looking to get Mage XP here as well, but I would recommend switching over to Green Leather Bodies at 63 Crafting, as you will make 60gp more per Hide over sticking with Vambraces. You will only be doing 1/3 the number of alchs, but you can buy something more profitable (like more Yew Longs  ) to alch instead. And if you are trying to raise Farming and Herbore, I would recommend planting Irit seeds instead of buying Irit Leaves. Irit seeds are really cheap (usually around the cost of one Irit Leaf) and you can just plant and go do something else. And if you are a crop watcher, I'm sure you will have plenty of Alching to do. Just trying to save you a little money.
