Well I added a bank and stat picture just for "gits and shiggles" but the bank pic seems to be small (which is a common happening from the pics I have seen) It slips my mind right now on how to fix it.. so any help is accepted and I shall see to it tomorrow. Thanks for your time and rates.

Actually barb fishing has been slowed down, or so I am told, with the introduction of "cut-x". So you cannot cut the fish up as quickly. I hear that it is about the same exp as Shilo fly fishing. So for the most exp/hour go for Shilo fly fishing. However, if you want money go with monk fishing. (I am going for 99 with monks, should take 2 months from 89, I play a good amount, 4-6 hours a day when I don't go out) This will also be about 23.5m profit if the monks stay at about 336 gp each.

I've never used the LBS before so I would say go with the whip. From my experience on irons it rips pretty easily through their defence. But do you think you should be melee'ing them with only 70 str? Even if it was on a task and you had super att + str pots, I don't know if you are going to be getting faster kills than you would have been able to with that mage level of yours.

I personally don't think its worth it, I use the Warrior ring as a cheaper but still efficient alternative. I would advise you to do the same if you are using a whip (or any slash attack style).

When I was 96 att, 85 str and 99 defence I found it long to melee. (maybe I didn't try hard enough) So I just ranged them in Evil Chicken's lair. I would recommend ranging them too (even though it was a long task even with 94 range for me) If you want to melee them I would go for the baby blacks in CT so you can keep your task streak without any points being spent. (just an alternative method) I would go with ranging them though. Fill up your invent then summon a Terrorbird. Fill that invent and then bank. Repeat.

I have never done CT mummies before, but I have done Fire giants, got 99 defence there. I used Rune pl8, D skirt and Nietz helm. You could use Torag plate and legs with a Nietz helm, the drops will more than pay for the repairs. I also used guthans to heal, so you can do that as well. (I would advise this if not, then you will be banking every 20 minutes for food which severely adds up and decreases exp/hour. Super attack and str pots I would also suggest using.

How do you think defil3d got 99 defence?... D chain at 20 or whatever combat... repairing barriers and doors. And that was with the old pc when games lasted 30 seconds opposed to 2 minutes nowadays. Its actually quite easy. Learn what your talking about. ----- Apparently soul wars is the place to be now, 99 att with 10 hp in a few days sounds like somethings going to get nerfed, I suggest you hop on that bandwagon before it gets fixed.

Well if you want exp and cash you need to suck it up and do some quests to unlock Armored Zombies... yes they ARE that damn good. If not then you will be making crap exp for the decent drops you are looking for. So you are looking at things that have previously been suggested here. Zombie monkies, DT skeletons, Guard monkies, Fire giants, ankous, CT mummies... etc etc. You said barrows?.. that's a terrible place to train just so you know and the cash made is mediocre and luck based at best.

It's still not an achievement to do it without cannoning. I got 80 without cannoning and I despise slayer.. I don't see it as an achievement... To each his own I suppose. I still give this an 8/10 though. You are close to one of the most wanted levels in RS (non 99 that is :thumbsup: ) Keep up the good work.

Corrected that for you. Higher range attack bonus is like saying increased accuracy pretty much (at least that is what it seems like to me), you will hit much more often on NPC's with higher defence levels. Void gives a +10% bonus to accuracy and damage, meaning you will hit higher with the void. But since the set has less of a range attack bonus the bonus 10% given to accuracy may not be enough to make you hit as constant or more constant than other range armors. Helpful?

Quite simply, what is the method that gives the *FASTEST* exp/hour? And could you explain that method? I know about barbarian fishing, Shilo fly fishing and monkfishing. These 3 are the "big" 3 when it comes to what to fish, at least from what I have read or seen. I know monkfish are at MOST 32k exp/hour in the 90's. But what about the other 2 methods, what are their exp/hour? I have looked for guides simply to see exp rates and have found nothing. So if you can link me to one (preferably up to date) then great! Please know, I would rather NOT drop the things I catch and I do NOT care about money. So please DO NOT SUGGEST MONKFISH for the sole purpose of you make a lot of money. Yes I have done the math 70k monks for 99 * the current price of 267 (ish) is about 18.5m That's good and all but I can always make money, I am on a time schedule as far as gaining levels goes though. So please can you give me the exp rates for other fishing methods that are faster exp/hour than monks?

Thank you for the rate, I did not intend this to be a thread about how 'GREAT' my outfit is. I never once said it's better than any other OUTFIT. (Please note, I do not believe the other thread constituted an outfit.. as they only were wearing an item or 2, not my personal opinion of an "outfit") That's all, I did not make this to try and get 10/10 rates =). I'll save that for a later thread, I just miss all the old threads of good outfits and kind of wanted to spur a new trend of outfit threads.

Red sallys until 80 then Red chins to 99 is actually the fastest way.

2 weeks is the shortest time I have heard of people going from 1-99 hunter. If you are dedicated enough from your current level I would say a month max if you play like an average amount (2-4 hours a day) And that's WITH hunting chins at 63-99.

Stick with the Diamond, the specs are pretty consistent (at least 3-5 specs at 20+ hit per boss kill averaged, rough guess) If you decide to use ruby then just use them for the first half of the kill and then switch to diamond for the second half. (meaning when K'ril is down to half health switch to diamond) The ruby spec will hit in the range of 45+ (sometimes even 50+) which takes out a nice chunk of time from the kill however the specs are far more inconsistent, you will go some boss kills without hitting a single ruby bolt spec and some with hitting 2 or 3. Dragonstone are way to overpriced when diamond's are an alternative for you. (Then again I have no experience with them so I do not know the consistency of the special)

I think I just found the way I am getting 99 ranged now (bye bye chins, hello 40m profit : Unless I do hunter to 99 first of course #-o ) Anyways, grats on a great 99 skill! 9/10, for sure.

To second what Ray has said, 1. Woodcutting, teaks. 2. Fishing, monks (maybe once you get higher woodcutting Yews may be more profitable than monks) 3. Yes you can prayer flash (why wouldn't it be legal?)

Just trade em off, its faster exp. Unless you absolutely need the money then just stick to trading or dropping them.

Stunning the dummy in your house can lead to 80k exp/hour.. that's some of the best (non-ancients) training methods out there.. OP: As previously stated, the dummy in your house or even just the dummies in Lumbridge. (or is it fally..) Wherever the new training dummies are NOT the ones in Varrock. I would say that's the "best" place to stun.

I would agree, but not for skilling. I just don't like wearing expensive stuff whilst skilling is all, just a personal preference. Thank you everyone for the rates. Next time I post a thread about my outfit (probably never) it shall be a bit more fresh and original.
