  1. I never said it was. I was simply asking a question. I recognize my outfit is not original and state so. However, with all the outfit threads that I have seen of people TRYING to be original it was kind of a disappointment. So I threw together a picture just to maybe stimulate more outfit threads. I love seeing what ideas people have in their head and we rarely (at least until recently) had an outfit thread on this forum. Thank you for taking the time to post though. Next time try to give it a rate though, 5/10, 1/10, hell 0/10 I don't care, but this is RATE this, so rates are always nice. : ------------------------------------ EDIT: Thank you for the rate. Like I said main reason for me posting is because a majority of the outfit threads are 1 item and that sticks out like a sore thumb and nothing else to it. Maybe a matching colored weapon or rubber chicken or something like that.
  2. This is mainly why I posted this. All the outfit threads consist of 2 items.. not really an outfit :-k Good luck on 99 hunter btw, you are very close! : Thank you for your honesty, I like my untrimmed cape so that is your opinion, but it is much appreciated. I'd like to ask you this though, RS has been out for what 6 or 7 years now? Is any outfit in runescape original anymore? Also everyone, my apologies for not having a blue phat on my head :P I know that would of brought out some good rates on its own.
  3. 9/10 Very nice grats : I also absolutely love the creativity in your leveling spot. That was very well thought out as well. =D> (I applaud you)
  4. [hide=Outfit]I see all these outfit threads that really show no outfit. Hopefully mine can get some good rates, though I must admit it is elegant and a bit "overused" but I just love the look of elegant for a skilling outfit. Please do not post a bad rating because of the staff, its just convenient to have it when I leave Pisc, and have to get back with fairy rings to continue fishing. Without further ad due (sp? :? ) [/hide] [hide=Stats]Just for Gits and Shiggles. : [/hide] [hide=Bank]Again just for the hell of it and the sake of my sanity, I have a ton of free time on my hands when fishing. So I made a bank pic. The cashpile is pitiful, mainly because of the money spent in the last tab. (see if you can spot why, if you do you get an E-cookie.) Again without further a-due my bank  *EDIT* (Must resize it) *EDIT2* (Can't figure it out, giving up) *EDIT3* (Should be fixed) [/hide] Enjoy :
  5. Ape Atoll at 70, I don't know what AlexDT is talking about, at 70 I wasn't nearly failing Ape Atoll as much as hes making it sound. I failed a couple times at 67 with Agil pots, and it wasn't that bad. Maybe bad luck or something. Also at 85 or 90 (I forget which my friend told me) you should switch to the Doorgesh-Khan over Ape Atoll. That's the best way to go about 99 agility.
  6. The reason your main is a "newb" is because you have a pure.. The only time anyone should have a pure is if they have finished their main (99 every stat, finished all quests, obtained all music, finished all champion scrolls etc etc) Either that or when your pure IS your main.. Simple as that keep it low combat but do everything else, non combats, mini games, non combat boosting quests that whole deal. The best puure is is a maxed combats player anyway. Show me someone with 99 att and str with 1 defence beating someone with all 99's and I'll show you a fluke.. (Yes I realize the combat lvl differencial would probably make it impossible for these 2 players to fight in lvl based PvP but for the sake of the argument I used this example.)
  7. You got 92-93 in a day? Congrats man I am more than impressed.. teach me your patience :P oh and give me your freetime haha. 8/10. Good luck on 99, again :
  8. You only need one chin respawn point to maximize your exp/hour. So wherever you can find 1 chin that spawns by itself away from the people crowding the "good" spots. Set up all your traps you can around the chin spawn like this: __[]__ [] X [] __[]__ (X is the chin spawn and the '[]' are your traps) Bring a bow and arrows as well, when the chin does not get caught in one of your traps and runs off away from the others, quickly shoot it to make it respawn back inside your box traps. This is the fastest method for catching chins and you only need 1 chin to do it, if more people knew and utilized this method there would be no crowded hunting areas.. *sigh* :( And yes I realize you can't lay 4 traps at once at lower levels, just fill in the spots as you gain more levels as best you can... DUH #-o
  9. A place that's special to you?? Like where you met your first real friend on RS or where you got your first whatever it may be. (your first level 50 stat, IDK) Like for me I will probably do all my 99 pics at PC because that's where I spent so much of my RS career. Or I will go to Varrock west mines which is where I got 60 mining and met a ton of cool people. Maybe the Mining guild where I met my best in-game friend The Tallest1. I say do something get it somewhere that is meaningful to YOU. Just this guys opinion.
  10. I remember way back in the day when you would post 3 topics a week on which 99 you should get.. I always said stick with attack even when you switched to thieving and whatever else : Glad to see you finally got that 99 and it is a good one  8/10. To bad I couldn't of been there to see it.
  11. Keep the oaks, sell the rest. (I got 99 attack there as well only from 96-99) and made 4m from runes, herbs and planks. Grats on 99 and the drops. : . The money you made there should be more than enough for your own gilded alter. I too got a gilded alter at 69 con, cost me about 2.4m in planks + butler costs. Then like 3m for the actual alter with oak incense burners and another 800k (ish) for level 3 shelves needed for the +3 boosting tea. Good luck with the alter.
  12. Best of luck, I too am working on 99 mining (only 80 now though, no where near 99, or even 92) Hopefully I'll see ya around the granite mines
  13. Teaks for exp. Magics may be more money than Yews. (Magics are 3 times the amount of yews so if you can get over 3 times as Yews/hour than you can get Magics then do Yews. If not then do Magics. (I have 99 wc though, and I see little improvement in the speed from 75 to 99)
  14. Do teaks and post on the RSOF (runescape official forums) and see if you can find someone who wants 99 firemaking. A friend of mine was getting 70k exp/hour cutting full loads and giving them to someone to FM. Saved him time on dropping as well as strain on his wrist. I got 99 on willows at barb assault.. took me a month from 94 wc to 99.
  15. Grats! 9/10. Not a fan of lvl 3 skillers but 99 mining is a goal no matter what the combat. How did you watch shows and mine though.. it's kinda difficult to do click every rock, and drop the ores all while keeping an eye and ear on the movie. And keeping up the exp/hour to get those rates.. quite a difficult task.
  16. Yes, this should be placed in the off-topic forum. This forum is for all RUNESCAPE related questions.
  17. 9/10 The syncronized emotes were superb
  18. First was defence on and off but never anything to serious didn't get 99 yet even though I wanted it. Fletching was the first I tried powertraining to 99.. needless to say I burned out at 96. Quit rs for 3 months, came back and got 99 defence. Now I have 4 skills up to 98 (about 10k from 99) so I haven't burned out much at all : I get 99's because I want to not because I want to "look cool" :P
  19. Good job : As soon as I read the title I was hoping it was a defence cape and not a fishing cape. 8/10. Way to go, hp next it looks like :-s
  20. If it stays healthy until fully grown it will stay fully grown forever until you pick it. If it gets diseased before it is fully grown and you do not treat it, it ends up dead. Simple as that.
  21. If you have done Swan Song (quest) then you can bank in the Piscatoris Fishing Colony, the summoning obliesk is right outside the gates of Piscatoris. If not, then just running back and forth from Fally to Taverly is your best bet. OR you could just make crude wooden chairs and wooden bookcases for the 10 con levels to speed up your summoning training by a lot. It's ONLY 10 con levels : But using Piscatoris to bank would be faster I believe... it's the method I use.
  22. I would say put your Chaple on the closest side from where you teleport in at. So when you enter your house, if you end up on the Northern-most side of your portal, then you can get right into the alter faster. Then place your Quest hall next to it. Add in portals close to the entrance and this is pretty much a perfect house. The reason I say put the alter there is because if you eventually want to get a high prayer level and use your own alter (what I am doing now) it helps heaps having less of a hassle trying to locate your alter and minimizing the running from entrance portal to alter. Quest Hall right next to it for a quick glory tele to bank. Helps a load and if you have other players over it helps them out as well. Other than that, having the portals closer to the entrance helps lower the time ever so slightly when you tele to your house to restore prayer in between tasks (if you do that) It does help and not having to search your house for your portals helps. This is all I can really think of, not really a NEED, but it sure is convenient.
  23. The dummies in Lumbridge you can, I believe. (the new ones, not the ones in Varrock) If not then slap on some of the best melee armor you have and curse the skeletons on the other side of the wildy ditch. The only down side to this is people hopping the ditch and killing your skeleton. So pretty much anywhere with something in-between you and an attackable NPC. Lessers in Taverly dungeon, there is a gate there. People in "jail". Zombies at the bottom of the Mage guild. Zombies in Varrock sewers (just stand across the little river from them) Places like that.
