Glitch?
Probably because you have a book in your bank. He only gives one book per character. Unless you drop them and then talk to him or something, don't know if it works but w/e.

Monster Drops and Money Making for a Self-Sufficient Player
After typing it up its kind of a long read, but helpful I believe, so if you don't want to read it skip to the end. I was exactly like you back in the old days (wish I would of got out of that mentality sooner :( ) I would mine my own ess to rc with, mine my own ores to smith with (and if I didn't have the level sell the mined ores to buy whatever I was going to smith) Thieve the master farmer for seeds for myself. Cut my own oaks to make planks... the list goes on and on. Then I figured it out in my noodle that, and this is a very common quote, YOU HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO MAKE MONEY. My friend, Tall, was slightly higher than me in every skill, then all of a sudden he jumped up about 400 total levels higher than me but we both played relatively the same amount of time. On top of that he had the money to buy 11 santa hats (they were about 11m back then). He was making money and then spending it to get his skills up more efficiently and still earning a profit with his newly raised skills. You see what I mean? When you kill dragons sell the bones and hides. Keep going until you get a pile of cash 10m or whatever is high for you. Then you will see it is much faster to buy those ranarr seeds and plant them to turn seeds into money than it is to steal from the master farmer and hope for a ranarr seed drop. Or it is faster to buy the yew logs and bowstrings than it is to pick your own flax and cut your own logs (even though you hate fletching this is a great example) It's much faster to buy those d bones for prayer and with the time you saved go back and remake the money you lost so now it is kind of like you got the levels for "free" since you ended up with the money and the levels. ---- Make sense? I hope so. But anyway a good money maker for your... I would personally stick with the green drags. EXCEPT actually sell the materials, for your own sake just sell them. Stop being stubborn and just sell the damn bones and hides : Yea it was a long read but I felt it necessary to get my point across.

Best boost?
Well the salve bonus is 20% to attack and strength as opposed to the Slayer helms 15% to attack and strength. The Nietz is + 3 str (with better defence) whereas the Fury is +8 str. If the +5 more str makes up for the 5% difference between the Nietz and Slayer helm than you should use the Slayer helm + Fury. I don't think it does however, so for undead tasks stick with Salve + Nietz. Except maybe Abby Specs since you wouldn't be able to wear a Nietz helm and you'd be losing out on the +3 str bonus.

Construction
You could do: Crude wooden chairs until level 4. At level 4 do Wooden Bookcases until level 29. At level 29 do Oak Bookcases until you hit 33. (Or 30 in your case) At level 33 do Oak Larder until level 74. At level 74 do Oak Dungeon Doors until level 99. That's pretty much the layout for 99 con lol. Even though you asked up to 30.. Check the construction guide on Tip.It to learn the basics of what you will need in your inventory etc etc. Located ---> HERE!

Magic with stun
The dummy in your house (maybe the one in Fally? Wherever those new dummies are not in Varrock). I hear stunning dummies (again, at least the ones in your own house) gives 80k exp/hour.

Yew Longbows (u)
I believe so, but I think it would be faster to sell them in the Fletching Guild (world 132 is it? Yanille) To answer your question, yes they will sell.

Item Kept on Death
Didn't Jagex say somewhere in their updates this year they are looking to adjust the items kept on death? To where you CAN choose? I could of sworn I read that somewhere.

99 Mining
Wouldn't if be faster exp to mine and drop. Mining 3 and dropping 3.. Rinse. Repeat. He did ask for the 'FASTEST' exp not what makes the most money or is the smartest etc etc..

killing demons
Train your defence up a bit using Stronghold of Security spiders or whatever (I believe spiders are best). At 60 or 65 you should be okay to kill them on your lonesome.

D long vs. G maul vs Obby Maul?
As the previous 2 people said d long is the way to go out of the 3. The other 2 are more for pking places where you will be fighting for short time periods and NEED to KO. A D long/scimmy is for training. If you have a little extra money to spend, you can try and Obsidian Sword + Berzerker necklace. That gets you more exp than a D long + rune defender and the same exp as a D scimmy + rune defender (give or take 5k exp +/-)

experiments or rock crabs??????

Should I get 99 cooking?
Just a quick side note. You can let the raw lobs sit in your GE box and then go to retrieve them from a banker. When you go to get them right click and select withdraw item, instead of just left clicking it and taking out the entire amount. I am pretty sure this works at banks just as it does in GE.

#26 + pvp gallery
Isn't it against forum rules to make misleading titles in order to gain more views? I could of sworn I read that somewhere. Don't know how to rate pures but I don't like pures as they are cries for attention (my opinion) I'll give you a 4/10 because maxed combat pures ;) are always better than anything else.

Should I get 99 cooking?
I am pretty sure the best F2p cooking spot is Lumbridge castle. Bank on 3rd floor, cook on the range next to the chef. I don't see any reason as to why not to get it though. You have the money, you have the will (assuming since you are asking) so why not.

Construction help...
Cost me about 3.7m to get to level 69 (which is all you need btw) with oak larders and then another 3.2m-ish to make the actual alter and teak shelves for Con tea #3. I'll give you my exact numbers in a moment if I can find my old H&A thread. With SC hammers look to just cut my costs in half.. At least getting the level not making the alter and shelves, that cost will stay the same. EDIT: Okay my numbers were correct.. I'll calc yours for you here in a second if you'd like. EDITEDIT: From 52-69 con it is 1121 Oak Larders (without SC hammers) At 424 gp per oak plank it will cost in total 3,802,432 gp. That's: 1,121 Total Larders * 8 planks/larder = 8,968 planks 8,968 planks * 424 gp/plank = 3,802,432 total cost So with SC hammers that what cuts the amount of larders you will need in half? So you are looking at about 1,901,216 gp for level 69. Hope I was helpful.

Chins..
Well 85-99 costs about 45-50m I believe it was, sooo 80-99 should be something like 54-57m Give or take.

Closed ~ Thanks guys!
Not sure on the gp.. I believe I remember people saying 400 monks an hour is possible which actually turns out to be 48k exp. So with 400 an hour that makes 120,400 gp/hour. (Monks 301 each, Friday, February 6, 2009) I can remember someone specifically correcting me and saying its 400 monks an hour but 48k exp/hour seems like a bit much for fishing. Can anyone confirm or disprove my numbers?

Achievements of 2009,1600 total.
And your highest skill is what.. 86.. How about you comment other people's achievements in a more fair manor especially when they exceed any of your own exponentially... 7/10 on the 95 str. Never hurts to be strong :P

Slayer Help
Well if you are yet to start accumulating points there is no reason NOT to just go and Burth the task.. If you are yet to gain a task on your "streak" then you mine as well Burth it. Either that or suck it up and finish it.

draining summon
Certain areas like GWD right before the entrance (snowy area) as well as Abby Specs lower stats.. I don't know if they will lower summoning but its worth a try. Vul he probably just doesn't want summoning levels adding to his combat.. that's all.

Anti-Proof of Sailing
I agree with this... what practical use would sailing have? Let me sail to Brimhaven when I can take a charter ship? Let me sail here or there when I can teleport, walk, balloon, etc etc etc there? Sounds like firemaking, good in concept impractical in actual uses. Archaeology seems like a much more viable skill in both use and practice. At least you can DO things not normally done with archaeology being introduced.. but maybe that's just me.
