Completely off topic, but is that AFROTC or something?

George Lucas wasn't perhaps born in West Virginia was he?

Err.... that would be Han Solo.

I'm a real flight sim junkie. So I'd have to say my favorite game I've played is X-Wing Alliance. It has a nice plot AND you get to blow up tie fighters! Anyway, it's a good game, it's the story of Ace Azzameen, a merchanter's son. After his family is killed by the Empire (or something like that), hejoins the rebellion, and you ultimately take down the Death Star in the end.

Hey, does anyone know if James Earl Jones voiced Vader in this movie too? It sounded a lot like him, just curios.

Mine is original. "You have an incoming call, You have an incoming call, You have an incoming call...." :D

All of them in general believe the same thing. Same with juedaism. There are Orthodox Jews and the regular Jew. Just like Catholics and the average christian. It's all a matter of interpretation, and I believe all christian sects at the very least follow the New testament in one way or the other, which was the point... While it's true that they all believe in 'just about the same thing', I'd not want to go as far as comparing Catholics to Orthodox Jews as to how strict they are... Some protestant sects will in fact be stricter than some Catholic groups. Anyhow, there are way too many forms of christianity to really discuss here, so umm, yeah :). Just pointing out that Catholics are not necessarily more strict than other Christians (while, I believe, Orthodox Jews are indeed more strict than other Jews). Not nessecarily more strict, but more customs and practices. Like ome things Catholics do that a typical non-denominational christian dont usually do. Baptism at brith, communion, Good Friday, Ash Wednesday, Lent, and all those other customs. That's what i meant. But still, overall, all those sects and denominations believe in a basic foundation that Jesus is the Messiah and that the New Testimant is God's word. My point was that because they all believe in that basic idea, they as a whole can be compared to the Jewish religon.

What branch? Army I'm assuming. What base? I'm going to basic next summer before my senior yeah in high school, and serve National Guard until I graduate College ROTC. Edit: And do you have any idea on what you want you ATI to be?

Amazing how much people will pay just to get those actor commentaries, dleted scenes, and concept art. *begins saving $59.95*

My bad, I think i was thinking of the Jedi Council as a whole rather. But you're probably right, when they make a special I-VI special edition collectors DVD set, which they will undoubtably will, them might. But one thing I have to add to that. George Lucas has known what's going to go on these first 3 episodes for a while now, well before the DVD, why wouldn't he add it then, thus leaving us wondering until we watched RotS?

Yeah, but those people we're close to Anakin, Qui-Gon wasn't. He distrusted him rather if i recall, and was opposed to him even being trained.

I can see it now.. "Star Wars: The Especially Special Edition" :?
-
Heh, i got 500 dollars in the bank for it :D . Sweet sig btw, I really like it.

Guess I shouldn't stray too close to a theatre now...

Not as general as me saying we have bigger noses. Ha :D It's true, I do have a big nose :x As previously said, the main difference is the belief in Jesus Christ. And all of the New Testament, for that matter - it is not accepted/considered in the Jewish faith. The holidays are also quite different. We have no Christmas or easter, but instead we have Pesach and Chanukah and Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur. The main point of these holidays is often to celebrate Jewish culture and the miracle of our survival with the help of God, as well as repenting (Yom Kippur) and asking for forgiveness and being good people. Oh yeah, and we technically don't have to do a darn thing on Saturdays.

Everybody keeps quoting the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" part, but I dont remember it, who said that and when? Darth vader said it after he realised *spoiler that Padme died(right near the end). Oooooooooooh, and then he rips out of that machine and all the vials and stuff explode, I got ya now.

Not as general as me saying we have bigger noses. Anyway, on topic. To put it in simple terms, Jews believe in the Toran, or Old Testiment. Christians follow both the Old and the New. Also, Jews don't believe the Messiah has come yet. Christians think the messiah is Jesus.

Yep, no physical self, he exists in the force. Now, are they allowed to take advantage of the force when they are "part" of the force? Or are they only aloud to talk to people?
-
Does anyone know how i could play that backwards?
-
The fact that they proved that false on Mythbuster takes away from it. :( Way to ruin it! :( :( Just kidding, but theres 130489x10^4 other cool death scenes in that movie to make up for it. Actually, if i recall, they made that one plausible, not busted.

If Yoda learns the secret to immortality, why does he die later on? Or is this just their concious? Like how Obi-Wan can speak to Luke in The Empire Strikes Back?
-
Omg how could I forget about that!?!?!? CLASSIC But as much as I hate to admit it, Haley Joel Osmith's character's death in "Pay It Forward" really moved me. Definitely not the most dramatic death, but man was it sad.

Well, I saw it last night, but i was kind of distracted the whole movie. I sat uncomfortably, the girls next to me kept talking, and everyone that knows anything about star wars knows whats going to happen anyway. Though what i thought was cool were the star fighters in the beginning. Early versions of tie fighters and x-wings  . But like i said, if I had never seen or heard about episodes IV-VI, the ending would have been a lot cooler. Also the political thing got kinda old. We all know from episode 1 that palpatine set up the war himself so he can come out to be a good guy. I also thought the acting was superior to the other movies (excluding Padme, too soap opera-ish). Especially Senator Palpatine and Anakin, they were very believeable. Was pretty sad when he went and killed all those padawans, and all that stuff, really believable like i said. Also pretty sad when the Repub. slaughtered the jedi's all at once, none stood a chance. 8/10 I'd rate it.
