Wow, They Lock Too Many Topics...Chill You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I'm very thankfull to the Tip.it Admins and Mods for keeping things less monotonous and mature, despite some things one may disagree with. I recently tried out RuneHQ forums for some change, and wow. I have to say it must be a Tip.it mod's nightmare there. Only threads I've ever seen locked are completed trades/ sig competitions.

A blast from teh past
I remember that phrase being a cheat code in some way for almost every PC game out there. Why did it ever become famous?

please pray for my little brother =(
Come on, is it honestly necessary to say stuff like this? I'd think it'd be much better just to say: Well, good luck, hope he's alright, instead of rubbing it in his face that it's against your belief to pray and have that kind of pessimistic attitude about nothing is going to help his brother now. Honestly, it's disgusting. Good luck, I hope your brother makes it.

Wow, They Lock Too Many Topics...Chill You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil, I think that If I had had time to post before it got locked (went to bed then work after I posted), I'd have had time to clear things up a bit. The thread was simply just me wanting to know what other people thought of the flash movie. I myself look down upon conspiracy theories and "the government is after us" types of thinking. I feel that I never had a chance to clear that up and post what I, the thread starter, thought of it. It wasn't supposed to be senseless posts about whoever believes that movie is an idiot and uneducated, as it so came to be. Earlier in that same thread it was mentioned "Topic already posted". Well, I wanted to talk and discuss the video and other stuff relating to it (didn't get the chance, but ok) and add my own opinions (which I never had a chance to do). If I had posted on that 10 month old topic, all I would hace gotten was a senseless lock, just like the dozens of others before it. Anyway, I personally agree that the past couple of months have made the Off Topic forums a ...frustrating place to be. Everything is scrutinized and critized to the full extent of everyone, different opinions are heavily looked down upon, insulted, and ignored. Grammar and spelling are grounds for being insulted/flamed, it's just really, as I said, frustrating. Well, that's just some of my thoughts on the topic.

Satanic "religion"
Funny, because the only time I ever hear the word "satanist" is when it's in cunjunction with rape, suicide, or murder. Any religon that interferes the lives of others, whether it'd be killing them in cold blood or dressing up in suits and ties and coming to your house to talk to you about their savior is deemed wrong in my book (end mormon rant). Show me something anything the satanist "religon" has ever done that isn't murder, suicide, or getting high and cutting eachother for no reason. Oh, and just what exactly is it?

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince (Not Read Book)
Who are Grop and Aragog..I don't remember those names :? Grop excapes my recollection right now, but Aragog is the giant spider in The Chamber of Secrets. The one who they thought was the Chamber's creature.

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince (Not Read Book)
I just started my annual summer "series re-read" of them last week. I still have the the rest of the 4th and the 5th one to read before the 6th comes out. I swear they get better every single time. I really hope this new one is as good as The Goblet of Fire, the 5th one kind of dissapointed me. Also, I like to read my books at a pace where I can soak every little detail I can and grasp all the facets of the story. Speed reading as fast as I can just to beat someone else is not really my bag.

Money Tracking Websites
Pretty neat, though I don't see much use unless you catalog all your money by their serial number.

bush's price is right
I personally think it was a terrorist cell like Al-Queda, it makes sense. France tends to sympathize for terrorists and the like, so they probably retaliated against London for beating France in the bid for the Olympics.

Name some movies where the protaganist fails
Final Destination 1 and 2. Everyone dies. Also Kingpin, a rather stupid movie, but the main character loses the bowling match to his arch rival.

Our state doesn't allow private use of fireworks, not even those confetti poppers :? . Most years our city has fireworks shows, but not this year with the 150,000 some odd thousand acre fire north of Phoenix.

Stupid question: Does this mean ps3 isn't going to be backwards compatable?

creation or evolution
A lot can happen in the span of 2.2 billion years, when life on earth was first said to become apparant.

creation or evolution
*claps* I can't believe people are still capable of saying that. If you isolate a minority of a species and put said group in a situation where it has to adapt or die, eventually the only genes that will be passed on will be those which help it to survive. Mainly because those which couldn't would've died. The rest of the species will NOT adapt along with it. Why? Because they have no reason to. However, if you want to follow your logic: there should only be only one species of every animal since all of said animal would've adapted at the same time as the rest. And if you disagree with that, you deserve to be hit in the head since that is exactly what you implied with your monkey analogy. Now, make your choice. Personally, evolution works. It all has to basically do with the huge climactic shift in eastern Africa, when the splitting of the plates began. Here's basically what many to believe to have happened. The descendents of modern day primates all llived in a vast jungle that spread across africa. However, lets say few million years ago, a giant rift begins to form, splitting the eastern part of africa into two, also making a mountain range from the colliding plates. Now, on one side, the primate descendents continued to live in their jungle, eventually evolving into the various species we see today. However, on the west side, the mountains have blocked rain and the land turns into savanah, forcing the primates to adapt to their environment. Since they can no longer swing through trees in the vast savanah plains, they had to learn to walk, new ways to hunt for food, ways to counter different obstacles etc. Since these two sects of the primate descendents lived in two completely different environments for millions of years, they became completely different species. On the west side, the beginnings of modern humans take place, while the east side remains untainted by environmental change. Moral of the story, we didn't evolve from monkeys. We both evolved from a different distant ancestor.

Halo 2:The War
Standbyers press "Standby" on their modems to intentionally lag the game. It's so they can go around killing people while everyone is lagging, and they're lag-free. Modders have a mod chip installed into their xbox that allows them to access cheats in ranked games. These can be anything like flying warthogs, automatic shotguns, you name it.

War of the Worlds - Spoilers Warning
Well they never found out what destroyed the aliens, only the narrator explained it to the audience in the end. They found out the shields were down when they saw the birds land on the machines. I was just reading this, when my mom asked if I wanted to go see it tonight

The end of Runescape...
Well, I don't play anymore, so it won't affect me directly. Though I do wonder what will happen to communities like Tip.it :?

passing preasents?
For going to school and getting good grades, I get a roof over my head, food to eat, a bed to sleep in, and a chance to further my education and become and become who I want to be. I think that's reward enough.

Weight gaining shakes, powder, etc.
Just wondering, is it for football season coming up? Back on topic: Even though I've never taken those, I myself am really skeptical. If eating the right foods like a lot of meat and protein, lots of carbs, and lots of calories work for gaining weight, then I don't see much point in doing different. This is of course assuming that you're trying to gain some muscle bulk. If that's the case, just eat the above, you'll gain some weight, and if you work out, lift, excercise, you should be turning those carbs protiens and calories into muscle. Anyway, that's just what I do, and like I said, I don't know much about these "shakes", so I can't say anything about their affectiveness.
