Yep, it is the same.

Average herbs per patch?
Lowest you can get without secs: 4 Lowest with secs: 5 My personal average without secs is 5.5, with them it's closer to 6.3. Different people seem to have different rates though.

Gear change?
Looks good to me except for the torso. Swap for a dharok/torag plate (I'm pretty sure the bonuses are the same). Once you get 99 defence, switch obby cape for defence cape (t) since it's slightly better. Also, I recommend doing summer's end for the blessed spirit shield. It pwns the obby shield.

Firemaking
Thanks for the info, everyone. I'm chosing to do firemaking just because its my most hated skill, and I'd do anything to speed up the exp and get it over with as quickly as possible.

Firemaking
I've been planning out what I'm doing for bonus exp weekend, and thanks to the formula I saw on another thread, I've been able to get my average multipliers. I need a little bit more info before I can figure out approximately how much exp I'll be getting and how many logs I need to buy, so I have a couple questions about firemaking since I haven't trained it in atleast 2 years.. 1. Will flame gloves/ring of fire/pyrelord familiar boosts stack with the bonus exp? If they do, could someone direct me to a good beacon network guide? 2. I'm not going to do the east burning method (too click-intensive for me), so what would be my best choice? I can use teletabs to varrock center and burn from there, or is there another good spot? I used to burn at yanille but I think that's outdated by now. 3. Any estimates on how many logs I'll be able to burn per hour? 4. Are there any other tips and tricks I should know? I already use 2 tinderboxes. Thanks in advance for your help :]

Since the forums have been down, I got to 94 attack and 83 slayer :] I can now kill spiritual mages, although I haven't gotten them for a task yet. This goal has been going a lot faster lately. Even my tasks are going quicker due to my improved skills. I also reached my goal of 73 farming yesterday, which is also nice. During bonus exp weekend I've decided I won't be doing slayer. I'd rather use the extra exp on a skill that I hate training. I thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the boost for farming though. I'm going to buy 5 palm, 5 magic, and 1 calquat seed. I'll plant them a day or two in advance, and then as soon as I log in on the weekend I'll run around and check them all, which will get me somewhere around 350k farming exp in about 10 minutes. After that, I'll be burning magic logs, since I want to get 92 firemaking as easy and painless as possible. Depending on how quickly I can burn them, 5 or 6k magic logs should get me to 90 or 91 by the time the exp level returns to normal. All of this will be a little expensive, but the farming exp is excellent, and the time & frustration saved by doing firemaking this way will be so worth it to me. I'm kind of excited ^^

What Do You Miss Most?
I definitely miss when runescape seemed huge.. When I would log in and not know what to do because it seemed like there were too many choices. I miss when general stores sold other people's junk for low prices, pre-grand exchange. I remember when I first started I used to hang around the general store and buy beads for that one imp quest. I could get them at the store for 1gp, then I'd run to the bank and sell it someone for 300gp. I thought I was making tons of money XD Oh, and I miss when I barely needed any exp to level up. When 400 exp til my next level seemed like a huge amount. I guess I just miss being a newb. XD

Most Prized Possession!
1. My amulet of fury :] My best rs friend gave it to me pre-trade limits for my birthday, and I never take it off. My hunt cape comes as a close second, though. 2. Abyssal whip has been one of my favorite items for a long time. I also love dragon chains, I remember seeing one when they first came out and dreaming about how awesome it would be to have one XD 3. Rubber chicken. My account is old enough that I should have one, but I was still a young newb and didn't understand holiday events yet. I regret not getting one :[

Str vs Atk vs Def
My personal favorite would be attack. I'd rather have consistent, medium hits than rare high hits. Second I would have to say defense. Especially since I've started doing slayer, it's really helpful to have high enough defense so I can do almost all of my tasks in one trip. All of them are important, though. I prefer to keep them even & balanced for the most part ;]

HD/Fullscreen, Which one?
Once I started using fullscreen I find it really hard to go back. I love being able to see far around me, it just seems to make the game a lot easier.

Woke up this morning with a terrible fever.. I seem to just be getting more sick every day. Atleast that means that I've been doing well with my goals. I got 92 hitpoints today, which is halfway to 99. I'm pretty happy about that since I've always wanted 99 hp. Right now I'm only 97k from 93 attack, so its pretty likely that I'll be getting that today.

I'm still at home sick for the third day in a row, so I've been making good progress. My yew seeds will be ready to check on in about an hour, which will get me 72 farming. I also stopped by pyramid plunder for a little bit today, since I realized I was only 10k from a level up. I'm now 71 theif, which means I can get into room #6 at PP ;] Anyways, I'm still working hard on my slayer. After my current task of fire giants I'll only be 8k away from 92 hitpoints~ I'll be getting that level on whatever my next task is. Hopefully something easy, like greaters, or something fun like iron drags. Then I'll be halfway to 92 hitpoints, which is a pretty cool milestone for me since I've wanted 99 hp since I was just a little newb. I've been rethinking some of my goals, though. I'm really not sure if I'll be able to stand going for 99 theif, even though the exp is quick, I hate doing things that require my full attention. I get way too bored. I think I'm going to lower that goal down to 81, and after I get there I'll see if I feel like continuing it. I'm also increasing my firemaking goal to 92, since I want to get an inferno adze. After slayer I'm only going to have 7 goals left to complete.. I think I'll probably start with something simple, like fishing. It'll make me a little bit of money if I do monks. I need about 12k monks to get to my goal level of 85. At today's market price that's around 6m, which isn't very much, but it'll pay for about half of my firemaking. So, after fishing I'll be buying and burning yew logs to get to 92 firemaking. I know it's expensive but I'm really not worried about it. I hate firemaking so much, it's worth it. Once I have my adze I would like to go for 99 woodcutting on yews. I realize ivy is a lot faster, but I want the firemaking exp from using my adze. Also, the yews I chop will help pay back what I spent on firemaking. I need to chop 46,400 yews for 99. Assuming 1/3 of those get burned by the adze, I'll also be getting 3m firemaking exp. This will get me to 95 or 96 firemaking. I'll also have about 30k yews left over. I'll sell these to buy magic logs, which I will use to get my fletching up to 85, possibly 90 if I feel like it. Hopefully, along the way I'll remember to do my weekly penguin hunting, so I'll either be 73 runecrafting or atleast very close to it. If I'm not already 73 rc by this point, I'll do while guthix sleeps and use the reward to level it up. I might also use some of the exp on herblore and/or agility. After that, I think I'll head to aviansies and camp for a while with my ranging. Hopefully I'll be making a lot of money, and decent exp. Finally I'll end up with only theiving left, which I'll get to 81 and then decide whether or not I want to keep going. At this point I'll have a ton of money and very well-rounded character, and I'm really not sure what I'll decide to do next. Maybe it would be nice to just kind of mess around, without any specific goals, and just do whatever I feel like ;]

Best thing to do with my time during Bonus Exp Weekend??
If you have a lot of money.. train mining, agility, runecraft, or some other slow skill. If you're on a budget.. train prayer, herblore, summoning, or another expensive skill. Personally I hate wasting time, so I'll be training agility & runecraft ;] EDIT: Forgot that the bonus exp won't work on prayer.

Agility Level for Regicide
Sometimes it just takes a ton of tries. Even at 73 agility I still fail the stick trap quite a bit.

how much on average do you get for 99 slayer?
Slayer is insanely profitable even before whips, dark bows, and all of that stuff. So far, from 70-82 slayer (around 1.9m exp) I've made well over 60 mil profit. Assuming that rate stays the same (which it won't, since drops are variable, but it's a decent estimate anyways), you would earn approximately 327m going from 83-99. Keep in mind though that I don't use a cannon or piety, so if you do either of those the profit will be significantly lower.

Focus Sight drop rate and Desert Strykewyrm setup
I use bunyip + humidify to refill my waterskins, and I can easily do my whole tasks in one trip. I brought my EE and a couple monks just in case I wasn't paying attention and got hit by the special too many times. Honestly since most of their drops are noted, inventory space wasn't a big deal for me at all during this task. Bringing waterskins & humidify runes didn't affect me at all.

Jellies - Best clue giver for a high level?
All lvl 3 clues are equal.. I've done plenty of clues from lower level monsters and gotten good rewards, and I've also done several clues from iron/steel drags and gotten junk. The rewards are totally random.

Decided to waste a little bit more money today.. I bought enough yew seeds to reach my farming goal, which I've started planting. I'll have it all done in a day or two. I'm also doing a little more herblore, since I'm only 50k from my goal level of 73. Once I'm done with the herblore I'll keep doing slayer. I'm 85k from 92 hitpoints and 386k from 93 attack, so its possible that I'll get that today but I doubt it.

Jellies - Best clue giver for a high level?
It's kind of out of the way, but I've had insane luck with clues at cave horrors. Back when I used to use sumona for my tasks, I would often get 3-4 clues in a task of 100 or so. On top of that there's black masks, which from my experience drop about 1/300. If that's too far away though, jellies are still a great option. I used to go there to farm for clues all the time.

Indeed. I just got from 72 to 77 summoning with the charms I had. I'm really hoping by the time I have 99 attack I'll have enough charms for 85+ summ. Back to slayer now, just got my first nechryael task~

Another level today- 72 herblore! I also just passed the 60m point for the first time. Yay, money~! I might spend some of it on summoning, since I've got a huge buildup of charms right now.

Well, my WoW subscription has officially run out. I'm at home sick today, so I'm working hard at my slayer :] I'm also *really* close to 82 slayer- only 15k left. Once I get that I'll also be about 10k from 92 attack, so I'll be getting both of those levels today. Current task is abby spectres. Kind of annoying, but the profit is worth it. Speaking of profit, I've had a task of both jungle and desert wyrms now, and even though they're extremely annoying (damn that special attack..) the profits are pretty good. Jungle ones aren't too great but I made about 700k from a task of 125 deserts. Not bad, hm?

Slaying Waterfiends
Ideological reasons. I absolutely refuse to train Attack and Strength (though this can vary, I recently trained my Strength from 72 to 75 for Blood Runs Deep). It's akin to pure skillers, only I'm not as pure. :P Ah, I see. Good luck with whatever you choose to do, then. Waterfiends are annoying anyways, even with a z spear and decent melee stats I still can't stand them ;]
