Duradel/Lapalok Vs Kuradel
As someone who doesn't use a cannon, I much prefer Kuradal's tasks. I had a blue dragon task from her earlier today, and because of the new dungeon I was able to have 6 of them all to myself. I got 2 ferocious ring drops, which was more than enough to teleport me there and back enough times to bank all the hides and bones (giving me a 900k+ profit in about an hour and a half, which was really nice). I'm at living rock creatures now, which is a somewhat long and boring task, but the drops are great- all of them are either noted or stackable -and the exp is pretty good as well. So far, I'm really enjoying using kuradal instead of duradel. But then, I never liked his tasks anyways. I always used sumona instead. So maybe I'm a little biased ;P

Waterfiend task
I had the same problem yesterday when I attempted my first waterfiend task. Here's what I found out: 1. Z spear is the best weapon, as far as a good balance between cost and power. If you have a lot of money though, SS is better. 2. While they are still agressive to me, I pray range and piety. After they go nonagressive, just pray range. 3. Healing is a big deal here. Enhanced excalibur makes a HUGE difference, and I don't think I would even go near this task without a bunyip. I'd skip it until you have 68 summoning for bunyip, since the waterfiends drop raw sharks and lobsters often, which makes the 'swallow whole' ability really useful. 4. You might want to skip it anyways until your stats are higher, but you should be able to pull it off if you bring super attack+strength potions. My invent was 6 pray pots, super atk/str potion, enhanced excalibur, teletab, swallow whole scrolls, extra bunyip pouch, and the rest sharks. With my stats, which are reasonably high (89/88/88) I was able to do about 80-100 per trip, finishing my 176 task in 2 trips. If you had a bunyip, you'd probably be able to finish it in about 4 trips, but without that it might take you a long time. EDIT: Just checked out equipment stats, and I noticed that if you can't afford a z spear or SS, then try using a dragon battleaxe+rune defender combo instead. It gives you +18 more strength (!!) than the torags hammers, plus all the defense bonuses from the defender.

Waterfiends.
I'm actually training controlled right now anyways, so in this case it's more of an advantage to me to use the spear instead of buying as SS. Thanks very much for your help, everyone :]

Waterfiends.
Hmm okay, that takes care of the green dragon problem. Thanks guys. What about a weapon? Should I continue using the zammy spear or is a whip better? I suppose I could get a sara sword, I can easily afford it, but I won't use it for anything else so I'd rather not buy one just for this particular task. Oh, and should I pray range or not? I didn't see anyone down there using it.

Waterfiends.
Well, I just got waterfiends as a slayer task for the first time. I checked axe man jack's guide in the AOW already, and it suggested that I use range pray while wearing karils and using a crush weapon. So, I loaded up on p pots and bought a z-spear for the occasion, just to go down and see most people using whips and not praying at all. And, to top it off, I keep getting blasted for 30-40 by those brutal dragons nearby so I can hardly even stay alive. I try to stay away from them but they seem to keep finding me >.< I have a feeling the guide that I was looking at is pretty out of date, so is there anyone here who has killed waterfiends recently and can give me a hand with this? If I can't figure it out I'll probably end up blocking them, which I think is a shame because of the great charms they drop. Thanks in advance :]

Granite platebody
That really depends on how good your team is. I would estimate around an hour, but I could be way off since I haven't played barb assault in a long time.

Granite platebody
I recommend just doing an easy job like collecting all the way til the end. Find a team and make sure you remember to call out instructions so that your teammates don't get angry and leave.

99 DEF vs ATK vs STR
Okay but as i said before i have an EXTREMELY unlucky history with reports.... i got 6 mutes for doing nothing other than talking with my friends and i am currently going through a 25 day mute just cos i asked a guy wether he was a pure or not... so yeh you are right that jagex was too stupid to make a rule for Afking but not make an abuse report functıon for it :D And anyways WTF why would u make a rule that obliges you to be physically near your computer??? thats your own choice jagex cnt force you to sit in one place for hours... I'm sorry, but doesn't it make sense that if you're playing a game, you should actually be there playing it? No, you're right, jagex can't force you to sit in one place for hours. That's why they made a "log out" button. Do your training yourself, don't go the cheap way and afk train. It takes away all the fun of achieving something. If you don't like grinding, then you've picked the wrong game to play. EDIT: Also, I don't believe you were just innocently talking with your friends and got all of those mutes. You were most likely breaking some rule, otherwise you wouldn't have been reported in the first place.

Best method for 99 strength
Personally, I recommend always doing your combat training with slayer. If you ever plan to get your slayer up to a high level, you'll be getting all that combat exp anyways so you might as well do it now instead of ending up with 18m attack exp or something like that. The problem is that it's a lot slower. If you're just looking for the fastest exp, then armoured zombies are the best way to go. You already have 70 prayer for piety and full void melee so you could do this method pretty easily. There's a guide you can check out here. As for what weapon to use, sara sword is probably going to be your best choice. Good luck!

Took a little break from slaying to pick up a couple random levels. I got to 70 runecraft today, which means all my skills are 70+ now, and I'm pretty close to an agility level so I think I'll get that tomorrow. ;D If I can stand training it for long enough, I might even go for 73 agility, which would finish my goal.

99 DEF vs ATK vs STR
It really isn't very hard to do, but it's going to feel like it's taking forever. I've been working on going from 86/85/85 to 90/90/90 by training controlled with slayer. It seems really tedious since you're not getting levels quite as fast, but in the long run it takes about the same amount of time as training them individually. Give it a try, and if you're going crazy with boredom after a while, then just do them individually.

A couple of various questions...
Rings of slaying are definitely worth it, since they provide teleports to some main slayer locations, and make terror dogs a much easier task to do. Also, the tele to relekka caves is one of the closest teleports to a fairy ring, which makes it useful any time you use fairy rings, not just for slayer. They're also pretty inexpensive to make since they only need a gold bar and a slayer gem.

Wizard robe bottom?
Nope, they never existed. For the sake of matching, you can buy a blue skirt. :P

Yesterday I spent a little time (and quite a bit of money...) using up all the charms I've gotten so far. I got to 72 summoning, which also got me 120 combat ;D I might not play much the next week, as I just got a free 7 days of world of warcraft.. haha :twss:

potions per hour
I think he's asking about the super sets, not pray pots.

A couple of graahk questions
1. I only have 71 agility and I didn't need energy pots at all. What are you wearing? With penance gloves, spottier cape, and boots of lightness I was fine. 2. I would bank at edge, I think it's quicker that way. Also, I might recommend using the mobilizing armies teleport on the duel ring instead of cwars when you're crafting at a peak time. The downside is that the bank isn't a 1-click, but there's hardly anyone there, so you rarely have to deal with finding your graahk in the stack of other familiars like you do at cwars during busy times. I'm not quite sure if it makes a difference in the long run or not (haven't timed it myself) but it might be worth looking into.

Slayer question
Spiritual warriors are pretty easy. I bring a bunyip and either guthans or a little bit of food. You'll need to wear a zamorak item the whole time, I suggest buying a zammy cloak. It's also helpful to have a sara item for the way there, so you don't get auto-attacked by the saradomin followers. I just wear a holy symbol, then drop it and put my fury ammy back on once I'm safely in the zamorak area. Here's a map of the location I use, taken from Axe Man Jack's slayer guide in the AOW: [hide][/hide]

potions per hour
Just time it yourself, it's not too hard. Take a dose of your pots, time how many minutes it takes for your stats to drain and you take your next dose. Then just divide 5880 (98 hours in minutes) by that number. That will tell you how many doses of potions you need.

Well, today I did my penguin hunting. After next week I'll have enough points to level up my runecrafting again. I think I need to train my summoning up a little bit, to keep runecraft as my lowest skill for tears of guthix. After a few more weeks of exp from guth and penguins, runecraft will finally be 70, which means I'll finally have all skills above 70. That's pretty cool. I might level my attack today, I'm about 70k away right now. It's kind of unlikely though.

Is it just me or did you notice the same?
I've gotten scimitars a couple of times, but I am a member so I can't tell you if that goes for f2p as well.

Steel dragons
Range is probably your cheapest option. Use broad bolts and a rune c-bow with your accumulator. You'll need antifire pots too. Melee and mage will be more expensive, since for melee you have to use p pots, and the cost of runes for magic can be kind of high. If you mage, the cheapest way to do it is chaos gauntlets + fire bolt. The good thing about mage/range is that as long as you stay a few steps away, the dragons will only use their firebreath on you. So as long as you have an antifire shield and pots, you won't get hit at all.

Crafting cape
How about brown naval slacks and top, with gold gloves and boots?

Skills
You could try any gathering/producing skill, since they require little to no money at all to start and usually end up with a good profit. Your woodcutting level is fairly good, so you could try doing yews for a little while until you can afford a d axe, then switch to another method. Perhaps cut and burn teaks, so you could get 99 firemaking as well (or atleast get close to it). Hunter is a good option of you want to make a lot of money. If you hunt red chins from 63-99 you'll make about 30mil. However, it's a tedious skill and you can't afk. Another option would be fishing, although the money you make depends on how you decide to train it. In general, the faster ways make less money, but I'm not really sure about this one.
