  1. Stopped mining today/yesterday to do a bit of questing, and I managed to get more mining exp than I probably would have if I'd just sat there and trained the skill. Just 18k exp to go til my mining goal. Oh, and I got a summoning level from the latest quest, along with combat 116. I think I might try to finish my last 4 quests so I can put that cape back on. ..Then again, maybe not. I'm lazy. And I really don't care to finish summer's end, lol.
  2. So I've actually been mining today... I realized how slow and inefficient coal was (I don't know how it took me so long to realize it...), so I've switched to iron. I know granite is better exp, but I hate dropping ores, so I've settled for a rather quick method of mining and banking iron. 72 mining achieved, only one damned level to go -.-
  3. Some people train skills only, some people train mostly combat, and some people train everything evenly. How do you train? What's your average skill level? To get your average, just take your total divided by the number of skills. If you're p2p, divide by 24. If you're f2p, subtract 9 first (for the level 1 member skills), then divide by 15. Personally I'm mostly into skills but I try to do everything evenly. My average level is 77.6 ;D EDIT: Now I'm up to 78.7~ How about you? :twss:
  4. Well, I hate mining. A lot. However, I'm doing coal in the mining guild with sc pickaxes right now. I know it's terribly slow exp compared to granite, but I tried granite mining once and couldn't stay there for more than a few minutes without wanting to shoot my poor little runescape character in the head.
  5. I try to answer questions as well as I can, though after being asked the same things dozens of times I've got a big mental list of pre-prepared answers so I guess they probably come out sounding kind of stale. Sometimes I don't answer questions if its something that would disrupt what I'm doing or waste a lot of my time. For example, I absolutely hate it when a player comes up to me (while wearing my hunter cape), and asks me "how do you hunt?". If it were a bit more specific, like "how do you hunt chinchompas?" or something, I wouldn't mind answering, but I can't understand how I can be expected to sum up an entire skill and all the different techniques into a couple sentences. Ugh.
  6. Got about 20-30k mining exp today... and that's enough for now. Played pyramid plunder a little while, got 2 thief levels and a pharoah's sceptre ;D
  7. I just don't like how slow the exp is >.< Thanks~
  8. Lol I would, but I can't stand mining. I just want 73 in all skills ;P Same here :o Lol, I wish I had brawlers, but I don't pvp. Clay pickaxes help though :twss:
  9. Got 66 runecrafting, and finished the fally achievement diary. Eh maybe I'll go mining someday.
  10. I can't seem to make 3000 per hour. This may be because I don't have a giant pouch, and looking at your rc level, you don't either. Personally I can get around 2200-2500 depending on how much attention I pay to it.
  11. Somehow managed to get my bgs sold for 20m yesterday, which was really lucky considering the circumstances XD When the panic dies down and prices settle again, I think I'll buy it back. Or maybe a dfs :twss:
  12. Best: Trouble brewing! So unloved, and I think it's a really fun minigame. It's hard to find anyone to play unless you're online at peak times. Stealing creation is also pretty good. Worst: Fight pits and clan wars. Both completely pointless, all you do is fight.

I really liked Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, it was pretty funny. My favorite one would have to be Meeting History though, I just really loved the idea of it.
  14. I usually go with between 10-20. If you're doing a lot of runs, less than 10 isn't enough, and over 20 is wasting your time. (Or atleast in my opinion XD)
  15. I do when I'm mining, but not really for anything else.
  16. Got a couple levels - 68 herby, 71 agility, and 65 summoning. Also, I took a new bank pic, check it out ;D
  17. Oh wow, I'm doing a terrible job sticking to my mining goal. Finished off fremmy achievement diary today (had to kill a mith drag - oh noes!), and got a runecrafting level. 2 more levels there and I can finish my last task on my last achievement diary. I'm gonna use up all the charms & herbs I've gotten the last day or two from slayer, gonna get atleast one summoning level and get a little closer to another herby level. I'm also farming all the seeds that I've gotten, so hopefully I can hit 70 farming soon as well.
  18. This. Barrows armor gets a bad rep for having to be repaired. I've been doing slayer for the last week in my torags and karils (depending on the assignment), and I finally had to repair it today. Know how much it cost me to fix both sets? 130k. Seriously. I can make that much money (or more) in drops on just about any task I get. Get barrows, it's worth it. :twss:
  19. Here's cook cape (t), you've already got my other one.
  20. Lol, I do the same, except I always bring 10k. Good luck ;D
  21. I don't think waterskin or gold is necessary, unless you're planning to walk there or take magic carpets. But other than that, yea it looks good to me ;D You might find that after a couple trips you'll want to bring more or less antipoison, so just kinda mess around with it until you get it just right.
  22. Yep, that's pretty much it. Inventory should just be a couple super antipoisons and food. You'll want to wear lightweight armor, dhide top & bottom are good along with any weight-reducing gear you have like lightness boots, penance gloves, spottier cape, etc. As for familiars, a spirit terrorbird might be useful for its energy restore, though you probably won't need it. Bunyip would probably be a better choice to reduce your food intake. My banking method is to have a pharoah's sceptre and ring of dueling equipped. I use the sceptre to get to the pyramid, and when I run out of food/anti/etc, I use the duel ring to bank at castle wars. You'll need to save some of your artifacts to recharge the sceptre (I only save the gold ones, personally). When I'm in the minigame, I run through all the beginning rooms, then at the 2nd to last room I can get in, I search urns until the timer hits the halfway point, then move on to the last room with just enough time to theive everything.
  23. I agree. Personally I didn't bother planning either of my 99s in advance. When I got close to leveling I just invited any friends that were online at the time. They went with me to get the cape and that was about it. I think it's better that way, because then your friends don't feel like they have to stay and hang out even though they have things they'd rather be doing.
  24. I've got... 11 XD I don't slay much, haha.
