  1. If super strengths are too much, you could opt for regular strength potions instead. Of course, the boost won't be as good, but you'd be surprised how much a strength bonus (even a small one) helps in your slayer tasks.
  2. I did it praying melee with antifire pot and rune cbow+broad bolts. Whichever way you choose to do it, you should be fine. Mage would be more expensive, but you can easily (and cheaply) range or melee it.

But it will take hours to re-stock. I purchased 300 chocolate bars from the lumby chest about 10 hours ago and theres about 80 restocked. Ouch. That's ridiculous. I'm assuming a fix for all the shop stock problems will be coming within the next week or two though, so I'm not too concerned.

Yep, stock is 20 battlestaves for me right now.

I'm actually on lunar spells right now (a rare occurance for me) so I'll go stop by and check for you in just a minute.
  6. In my opinion, cannon is a lot more hassle than it's worth (I know a lot of people will disagree with this, but whatever). It's expensive, there's a lot of places where you can't use it, and you've already got 99 range so unless you're going for a better spot on the high scores table, it's going to be a lot more useful for you to get atk/str/def exp. You'lll probably be fine using sumona as your slayer master, though there's nothing wrong with using a lower one if it lets you get tasks done faster. If you do use a lower one, try to use sumona for every 10th, 20th, etc task because you'll get the most points that way. Definitely use super attack and strength pots though. Combat pots are a good alternative if you can't afford them.

I just got a few mage levels over at steel/iron dragons. It's somewhat expensive if you use blast spells or slayer dart (unless you get a couple lucky dragon drops, or a visage), but it's not too bad if you use fire bolt + chaos gauntlets. In any case, it's a lot more fun since you're actually actively doing something, and you have the chance of good drops.
  8. When I got mine, I shrugged, thought to myself "Cool, a skillcape.. kind of." And then I dumped it in my bank, knowing that a new quest would be out soon and I'd likely never be able to wear it again. Eh.. I was right, lol. Quest cape is far too high maintenance for me.
  9. 73 slayer today and not much else. I'm trying to decide which would be more worth it to get first- ability to make slayer helms, or ability to make slayer rings? Hm.
  10. Ironically, I'm looking for a close fairy ring so I can get TO that fairy ring by the slayer dungeon faster, to train my slayer so I can get the ability to make slayer rings. XD Are there any other close ones? If not I'll keep using the varrock/edge one.
  11. My first 99 was hunter, which has been a favorite skill of mine since it came out. I got 99 cooking soon after, since I think all untrim skill capes look horrible >.< I'd like to get a second "real" 99 though- I don't consider 99 cook to be much of an achievement at all. So, I'm heading for 99 attack right now ;D
  12. Wow. That's completely ridiculous. Jagex ought to make those spiders unattackable, or something >.
  13. Little accomplished today, but I didn't play that much so it's okay. I'm nearly 87 attack, completed 2 tasks and 2 clues today, both clues were fairly crappy unfortunately. Ah well, such is life.
  14. I've got a couple things I've been wondering for a while but never bothered to ask until now- 1. What is the closest teleport location to a fairy ring? I've been using varrock tele (I have it set to tele me directly to grand exchange) and then running northeast and under the wall to the fairy ring, but there's gotta be a closer one than that.. right? 2. What the hell are all those people doing splashing spells on spiders in the lumby basement? Some kind of new AFK way to train mage?
  15. Go for the bunyip. Even if you aren't camping there for long periods of time, it will still be helpful and save you food (and thus, save you a little money as well). (Actually, I recommend training with slayer instead of AZs, but that's just my opinion ;P)
  16. For my 99 cooking, I did lobs to 85, monks to 94, then sharks to 99. I ended up actually making money because of the sharks. I'd bought about 20k of them for around 900 each, then some pvp update boosted the price up to 1.2k, so I made off with a huge profit XD I believe you stop burning swordies (with gauntlets, of course) around 86, so if you're looking to save as much money as possible then it's probably best to do lobs til 86, then swords from that point on. Good luck ;D
  17. Got almost all of the rest of my mage exp on dragons (finished off the last 20k-ish on high alch), and didn't get a single good drop. Bollocks. I did get a bunch of charms, though, and 68 summoning for bunyips. This next goal is huge, and I'm guessing I won't be anywhere near done with it for quite a while. Before I start, I need to play a bit of GOP and get some astral tabs, though. Eh. I'm going to bed.
  18. Favorite is zaros, but since there isn't much zaros-based stuff out there, I usually go with zammy. I like the idea of guthix (balance = good), but I really don't like the way guth stuff looks (ESPECIALLY the rune guthix god armor. That shade of blue and green look horrible together).

Werewolf for sure :twss: Canifis has always been my favorite place in runescape.
  20. I've always been a completionist, but some of these I wouldn't have thought of on my own. Do you mind if I put this list in my blog? ;D
  21. I'm going to agree with the masses and say bad spelling/grammar is my biggest prejudice. I cringe every time I see "your" instead of "you're". Really, people, is it that hard? x_x
  22. I think you'd save a lot more time in the long run by skipping them. Steel drag tasks take a long time since they spawn in between groups of irons. If you camped right next to 1 steel respawn you might be fine, but if you keep running to the other spawn spots you'll keep regaining aggro from the irons and they'll hit you before you can get the steel's attention. I don't know if that made sense or not, but either way, steel tasks take a long time and I think you're best off skipping this one.
  23. I haven't gotten on much in a while, but here I am again. Stunning mage dummies got way too boring after about a half hour, so I decided to slaughter some metal dragons instead. It's fun so far, but no good drops. Here's hoping for a visage- I'm doing slayer next, I'm gonna need it. Oh- just got 84 mage as I was typing this. Yay ;D
