Slaying Waterfiends
Dusties might not be a bad idea, you'll get a good amount of crims there. If you want golds, then hellhounds would be really good as well. Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to raise your attack and strength? If you don't mind me asking..

Which path?
I'm going towards 85 slayer too, and it's going to get me 90 defense, 90 strength, and *almost* 99 attack. So, depending on what your slayer level is already, you should be able to get atleast all 85s, and possibly all 90s or more.

what to do?
I'm guessing that you're low on cash (since you said you can't do farming or con) so you might as well do something that makes money. You could try black dragons, or maybe aviansies or something similar. Slayer is pretty good too since there's a lot of variety and you'll get money, and seeds for your farming. If you still can't think of anything to do, a break might be a good idea. You'll be less bored when you come back ;]

Still have a couple weeks left of warcraft, but I'm back for a little bit. Yesterday I got a heap of supplies from my kingdom after letting it sit for so long untouched, and I got enough herbs to get to 71 herblore and over halfway to 72. If I keep using the herbs from my kingdom I'll reach my goal in no time. Until then I'm still working on my slayer, doing warped torts right now for a pretty good profit. I'm around 250k from 92 attack and 68k from 82 slayer, so I'll probably get both of those around the same time.

Slayer Help
Kuradal is the best. She's a little hard to get to before you get a couple ferocious rings, so you'll probably want to take 5 bittercap mushrooms and a spade with you so you can unlock the nearby fairy ring. Personally, I think it's most efficient to use lunar spells for contact NPC when using her as your slayer master. Just keep a few stacks of teletabs in your bank and the only thing you'll really be missing is high alch. Like everyone else has said, temple of sennisten is a good quest to do. The new curses are great, and unless you like to piety your tasks, I'd recommend using them. Deflect prayers give a small but nice amount of added damage when you're using them.

Assignments to remove
In my opinion, the slowest tasks are waterfiends, dragons, wyverns, black demons, and living rocks. I don't recommend blocking living rocks though. If you find a good spot, the spawns are close, and the exp is huge. The drops are also nice since everything is stackable so you don't even need to bank. Spectres could also take a long time, since you have to bank frequently because of all the drops. I find them extremely annoying but the money is worth it. Kalphites, bloodveld, or any other crowded monster can also take a long time if you have to constantly hop worlds to find a spot. Personally, I block: Steel dragons (Takes too long) Black demons (Also takes way too long) Mithril dragons (I always seem to lose money with these) Kalphites (Hate wasting time finding an open world) I also occasionally skip suqahs and waterfiends, just because I think they're annoying and sometimes I'm not in the mood to deal with them.

help my bank :)
My best advice is to group skills that are similar to each other and use some of the same items- like herblore & farming & cooking, woodcutting & fletching & firemaking, etc. Also, try to balance your tabs out. It's kind of useless to have a few tabs with only 5 or 10 items in them, and then one huge tab with everything else.

60-70 magic. Best way to train.
My favorite "fun" way to train mage is by killing steel/iron dragons. It costs a bit of money, but in my opinion it's the least boring way to do it. I personally can't stand any of the stand-in-one-place-clicking-repeatedly type methods, like alching or superheating, so if you're like me then combat spells are the way to go. Like the poster above me said, sacred clay hats help cut the cost down a lot.

' N O R R ii E ' + + Blog to Mastering Runescape
Well, it's been a while since I've been on here. Mostly because I renewed my warcraft subscription for 2 months. So, until march I'll be back and forth between the two games but hopefully I'll still be able to get a little more progress done on my goals here. Right now I'm back into slaying, after a quick break catching up on all the things I've missed (and a couple rounds of pwning in c-wars ;P)

Where to train
I always recommend training combat with slayer, since it's kind of a waste of exp if you don't. However, if you don't want to do that, you could try shadow warriors in legends guild basement. I trained my skills to 70 there a few years ago. I'm not sure if they're still one of the best training methods at those levels, but they're still going to be pretty decent.

Lapalok or Kuradal
I've found that most people that use cannons prefer to stay with duradel/lapalok, and those who don't prefer to switch to kuradal. The addition of daggs onto kuradal's task list might change that, but the fact is that lapalok is going to give you more cannonable tasks, while kuradal will give you more convenient tasks due to the new dungeon. Personally, I don't use a cannon, and I much prefer to use kuradal. I think the task list is a hundred times better (although I'm very annoyed that daggs were added again..).

POLL: How often do you use your Player Owned House?
Especially since I've been doing slayer lately, I use it every day. It's the closest teleport to a chapel and summoning obelisk, plus the portals are convenient, and I need it to repair my armor from time to time.

YES! Finally got 90 defense and 90 strength! Also got 122 combat, which is just in time, since I was on a hellhound task. Left-click is so much more convenient. At the moment I'm only 2k from 81 slayer, so I'll be getting that pretty soon too.

What should i train on?
Agreed. It's probably not a good idea to buy or sell a fury for atleast a couple of weeks, until the hype dies down a little bit. Lol, its up to you if you will sell the fury or not. Personally I just buy and sell equipment as needed, without worrying about prices. Sure, you will lose some money, but unless you are dealing with 20m+ items, you should be fine. Just my opinion though. In this case, the fury is almost guaranteed to jump up to a much higher price, most likely atleast a few million gp more. To someone like the OP who can't yet afford a whip, a couple mil is going to make a big difference.

Melee Specters
I also pick up herbs over harralander. I only pick up certain seeds to save space. Usually just snapdragon, lantadyme, and dwarf weed.

Melee Specters
Well I cant use a tort, but I can use a t bird. So with initiate I could make my money back from herb drops? Oh, definitely. On my last spectre task of 233, I made just under 900k. You'll make your money back and more :]
-
Melee Specters
If you don't want to pick up herbs, you can easily do the task in one go with enough prayer pots. I wouldn't recommend it, since you can make upwards of 500k on a task like that, but if you just want to do it as fast as possible, it's an option. If you do pick them up though, you'll probably be able to do about 50-60 per trip, or around 80 or more with a war tort.

help runescrafting. lvl 43 - 50
There are two basic methods I'd suggest for your current level: 1. You'll need 44 runecrafting to start making nature runes. If you do a quick mini-quest for the mage of zamorak (see tip.it's guide here), you'll be able to use the abyss. This is a good way to train until you have 57 summoning for the graahk method. 2. Fire runes are still pretty good for your level. All you'll need is a lot of dueling rings. Teleport to al kharid, run just north to the fire altar, then use the dueling ring again to go to castle wars and bank.

Hunting red chins
Bait is totally unnecessary. Don't worry about it ;]

Dragonfire shield
The DFS gives a +7 strength. Yes.. and the defender gives +5. Thus, a +2 difference between them.

Dragonfire shield
A lot of them are either under the impression that an extra +2 strength is better than the great attack bonuses of the defender, or they just think it looks cool. That's the only reason I can think of >.<

Well, I've been doing great with the new slayer master so far, having a great time. I'm incredibly pissed off today though, since jagex just added dagganoths back onto Kuradal's task list, which is one of my least favorite tasks. I was very happy when she didn't assign them, so now I'll have to put up with their [cabbage]ty drops and constantly crowded locations AGAIN. Ugh. [bleep]ing hate daggs. I'd block them if I had any empty spots.

A [cabbage] load of newb(ish) member questions
I'd definitely go for nature runes. When I was going 69 to 70 rc, I was getting about 40% double natures. At your level it'll be a bit less, but I'd guess you'll probably get atleast 20-25% doubles. If you get your summoning to 57 for spirit graahks, you can craft them much faster than abyss too.
