  1. Its not good netiquette to use BMP files on the net full stop. You should always convert a bmp to the relevant net safe file such as a png, gif or jpg. If a png file is gigantic its because someone should have saved it as a jpg. Always use the right filetype for the relevant image.
  2. Actually Maestro/Switchis the European debit card of choice :D
  3. I love Daan! If i was at his house right now id sooooo make him a cheese sandwich :D edit: That's not an innuendo for something dirty btw lol.
  4. Ive used debit cards for years. They are my preferred form of transaction and never had any problems buying stuff online.
  5. Tell that to Germaine Greer.
  6. I think you are a little confused Daan. The HD ready label was created by EICTA (European Information, Communications and Consumer Electronics Technology Industry Associations) as a mark of minimum specification for high definition devices so that consumers wern't mis-sold "hd" goods which would not show the best quality pictures of HD. In the UK at least HD ready means 780p or more. As for 1080p, there are hardly any TVs or HD decoders on the consumer market equipped to receive or decode a 1080p signal at any frequency. there is almost zero difference in quality between i and p at 1080 and i can be converted relatively easily. edit: found a 1080p sony bravy for sale branded as "full hd" which is probably what causing confusion but its over 5 times the price of an equivalent 1080i TV. madness.
  7. What do you mean? "HD Ready" is the government mark that can be put on TVs that are 780p or above. Most HD TVs are 1080i like mine. That currently IS full-HD.
  8. STOP spending it on DVDs and save for a few months rofl! Mine's only 32" but a 42" would just be too big for the room. Its a Sony Bravia so it really good quality tho especially when I play HD stuff on it via my Xbox 360 :D Don't waste ure money on a TV unless its HD-ready tho Daan, future proof yourself. Otherwise it'll be obsolete in a few years.

  10. I quite like thier older stuff. I saw them at Download festival a few years back. I have a vague memory of talking to one of the band members too but to be perfectly honest I wasnt in a fit state to remember. ^_^
  11. Why didn't you just post this in your respective leaving threads you already created? This thread serves no porpose other than to prove my point.
  12. It's worth it Daan :D *wub my big tv* ^_^
  13. I think theres some parts of America that need a "no child" act. You should have to perform a basic competance test to see if you are fit to have a child before you are allowed lol.
  14. Wow a whole $1000!!! You don't get much for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã500 these days. I guess it would go towards my mortgage or something or into the pot for a nice holiday this year or to pay for Glastonbury.
  15. I wasnt aware that anyone was aking for medical advice. I guess id be for banning it in principle but i dont see the need for a specific rule against it. The whole hand lotion thing is harmless but the creatine thread should be removed. I guess its up the the moderators discresion as to weather the advice can be potentially harmful
  16. Its just the current trend atm, making leaving posts. When someone posts a leaving post it usually starts off a chain of about half a dozen people who decided to do the same thing before dying down again for a few months.
  17. Two L's please Italian Potato ^_^
  18. Its a) not about runescape, and B) not a crappy pixel sig. noone cares :(
  19. About time too, its had the same design since like FOREVER!
  20. it was a Disney film, based on music Again I fail to see the point that you are trying to make about my argument? I clearly said that there are no memorable Disney musicals in recent years, repeatedly saying Fantasia which is now almost 70 years old doesn't invalidate my argument at all.
  21. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 0882387819 spectacular...
  22. There's only 6 episodes in the series tho, so more budget per episode
  23. Only one of those is actual Anti-Virus tho. You shouldn't use more than one kind of AV on a computer. Why do you want to remove Norton anyway?
