I just realized that all members' altars and 5/6 of f2p ones are at a place which has something to do with the altar's name. Cosmic: Zanaris, perfect place for it, after all it's a pretty odd place... just like "cosmic" stuff Chaos: Wilderness is chaos (or used to be at least) Astral: Lunar Isle. Simple. Nature: In middle of jungle, certainly nature Law: 'kay, this is a hard one... but Entrana seems to be the only place in Gielinor with clear laws... Death: Isn't that place pretty deadly? Both Iban and the plague were very close to the location of the death altar, and also Regicide quest was near it and so... Blood: May have something to do with the blood that the people in Meiyerditch give to Vyres ZMI: The place is filled with worshippers of Zamorak And F2P: Air: No idea. Mind: The Oracle is near it Water: It's at a very wet place Earth: May have something to do with the Digsite... Fire: It's at a very hot place Body: Barbarians have a strong body But Soul...? Kinda hard to say anything, we'll hopefully see.

Actually, F2P's were able to cut Maple Trees years ago - there just were no Maples in the F2P area. :P The skill guide didn't say that only members can chop Maples, nor did the level-up message. It does now though.

What server do you play on? If you play on a server which is far away from you, you will get much more lag.

Right, fights nowadays are 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-30-0-0-0-0-30-eat-0-0-0-60 with DDS spec-0-eat-60 with DDS spec-30(-pilejumper attacks with DDS spec-dead). I'm not that high level myself, but I've seen some so-called "fights" (seriously, they're like tossing a virtual coin...) and I've noticed the problem. Update(s) to the hit formula(s) is(are) really needed.

Rune crossbow + silver bolts is also an option.

I trained Defence from 60 to 65 in a few days by just setting attack method to "defensive" and not changing it before 65. I didn't even really train it. I just killed random enemies.

1. Astrals will probably take 30+ hours... deaths maybe a bit less. 2. I don't know. 3. Forever. You probably could get 78-85 runecraft quicker if you'd walk from a bank to the altar. (OK this was a joke, but it's still really slow) 4. Not much.

Do as many Recipe for Disaster subquests as you can, those allow you to buy awesome gloves for a very low price (Rune gloves, which give +8 to all attack and defence bonuses and +8 to strength too cost only 5k...). Even Mithril gloves are very good. Buy rune boots, their price went down the river after Dragon boots were released, they're close to nothing now. Buy a Warrior Ring. You don't really need Dragon Scimitar, but it's always good to have.

Body Tiaras are a very quick but so damn expensive way to train Runecraft.

I've gotten zero insults although my character has been female since early '06 :shock: Why do others get so many? Hmmm... (I'm a male IRL) I remember when dragon skirts and legs were new items and skirts were 1.5M and legs 5M... But although the difference is now much smaller, I still prefer skirt over legs. Everyone keeps telling me that I should get better armour, but I don't listen - after all 220+ defence bonus is pretty high and I like to use cost-efficient armour. Why should I waste 500K to get achieve nothing? -.-

I have a pure with 1 defence and with a three-letter name (:P) 40 attack, 47 strength, 42 HP, 28 prayer, 34 magic and 27 ranged. And 42 combat. The only problem is that 90% of drops are something like three salmons and mage ammy... My best so far: Addy berserker shield -.- omg 13K!

I agree. Super Antipoison and Antipoison (++) are a good example too - which one sounds better?
