  1. He was until he cut his hair/sold out. Anyway, Magey
  2. No, never. What's cool now won't be in two, five, ten years. Relationships end. Barbed wire goes out of fashion. Sure, it might seem fun now, but in fifty years your children will have to explain to their children that Grandpa wears longsleeve shirts in Saharan temperatures just because he thought it would be ever so cool to have Mr. Spock scratched into his lower arm.

They make excelent toiletpaper indeed, although the glossy pages of the illustrated editions do carry an increased risk of paper cut, which really isn't something you want down there :-w My recommendation: American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis.
  4. Yes. Scientific theories that have been worked on and refined by the greatest modern day thinkers for decades will be disproven by someone who lacks the ability to use capitalization and apostrophes. Feel free to try though, should keep you off the street for a while. Of course, when you finally do accomplish this, you'll have to cope with the dissapointment that the Nobel Peace Prize isn't handed out for that sort of thing. Aaaaaanyway, for me it'll either be about finding some long lost treasure or plowing a cement truck into a kindergarten.
  5. That's human nature. Human is animal afterall (No, I don't want to start an argument about that statement, just had one at school)No, it isn't. Until that point in history, tools were strictly that - tools. Starting 2000 b.C., we start finding axes that are specifically designed to bash skulls in stead of chop wood.
  6. Around 2000 b.C. there's a significant shift in the role of martiality in primitive culture, which is reflected in the change in shape of certain tools and the inclusion of weapons. From that point on, the warrior has always held a central role in society. Four thousand years later we're still stuck in that same pattern, and it doesn't look like we'll ever get out of it.

My most fun dreams don't involve video games, they involve things that would probably get me banned from this forum and/or civilized society.

You played it sober, didn't you? That's ok, a lot of people make that mistake :-w Anyway, my worst game would probably be an old DOS game of which I can't remember the title. It's a 2D platformer where you fight an alien invasion (which narrows it down substantially). The aliens' one true weekness is... salad. So you set out on a quest to gather ancient salad shooters with which you're supposed to defeat this alien horde. I played through one episode of it in about 30 minutes and managed to get a few minutes into the second episode before I gave up. Repetetive and stale gameplay + poor graphics + a plot that even my eight year old self found rediculous = a frustrated me.

  12. I think that it's a brilliant video. Of course, since MTV has aquired teenage rebellion in a hostage takeover and repackaged it to be sold over the counter to middleclass America, anything remotely controversial should be avoided like the plague...

  22. Heh, I almost forgot... I actually got angry PMs over that one :P
  23. Hrm, the most recent one I can think of... I was sitting in the train on my way back to my room when the batteries of my MP3 player died, forcing me to deal with the three year old boy that was running up and down the aisle while screaming at the top of his lungs. When he passed by for the fourth time I 'accidentally' pushed my book bag into his path, causing him to take quite the amusing tumble. He took the hint and sat back down on his mother's lap, who sternly told him that she told him to stop for a reason. In retrospect, I'd say it wasn't so much nasty as a service to my fellow passengers and a valuable lesson to the kid :-w

  25. I've already sent this link to a friend with a huge Batman collection (up to the point of having two different Batman pinball machines). When he buys his first house, he wants to put his entire collection into a room that can only be accessed in Batcave style.
