  1. (Chocolate) milk before singing. It'll build up the slime lining your throat, which'll make your throat feel less 'raw'.
  2. Never played Doom much when I was young. The only FPS I played a lot is The Catacomb trilogy (Abyss, Armageddon, Apocalypse)
  3. The Vandals have released a christmas album called Oi! to the World. It's not a cover, but it's punk christmas music.
  4. Explain, this seems like a good idea. I did a little bit of research, and it looks like I can do this with eggs. Can you please elaborate?Bear with me ̮̤̉̉ause Im not sobere entirely... You need... 6 glass vials 6 Potato slices (5x0.5x0.5cm) Saline solution (0,1%, 0,5%, 1%, 5%, 10%, 5%, mix salt and water in those percentages by weigth). Put a potato slice in each beaker with the saline mixture. Weigh before, legt it rest in a mixture for 24 hours, then weigh again. Also, try to find a way to measure flexibiltiy (won't spoil this for you).
  5. The Vandals - Oi! to the World
  6. Ayreon - Arjan Lucassen writes all kinds of music and uses guest musicians to utilize them to their fullest on his albums.
  7. The song Strong by After Forever kind of reminds me of my mother, who is in constant pain because I was born... I see your pain I see it grow slowly inside you You cannot control it The hurting's ruthless, you cannot win I see every smile you fake Strong emotion, strong devotion To ignore the pain To stand strong Day after day, to be there for us, always To pretend there's nothing wrong How you feel or how it feels No words describe it Your body feels like a stranger We cannot stop it, we cannot win I see every smile you fake Strong emotion, strong devotion To ignore the pain to stand strong Every painful day, I'll be there for you, always And together we will stand strong
  8. Not fair, that Swamp probably just burned because of the swamp gas. I dare you to burn a mountain :P Other than that; =D> Try focusing the beam with lenses...
  9. They're encouraging the use of live fire arms bu blind people. How is this not stupid?
  10. Have you considered osmosis as your subject? It's incredibly easy to set up yet can be very broad if you need it to. Don't know if it's at the level your teacher expects. All you'd need is potatoes, water, salt and beakers...
  11. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16157202/ By this time next year blind people will be allowed to drive - as long as there's someone who can see accompanying them in the driving seat.
  12. Because they are both guys!Actually, it's because the Thymine molecule's design only allows it to form hydrogen bridges (I don't know if that's the correct term for it, I translated it directly from the Dutch 'waterstofbruggen') with Adenine molecules. These hydrogen bridges are what keep the two strands of DNA attached to each other, so if they can't be formed then the strands won't be bound together.
  13. After Forever - Strong I see your pain I see it grow slowly inside you You cannot control it The hurting's ruthless, you cannot win I see every smile you fake Strong emotion, strong devotion To ignore the pain To stand strong Day after day, to be there for us, always To pretend there's nothing wrong How you feel or how it feels No words describe it Your body feels like a stranger We cannot stop it, we cannot win I see every smile you fake Strong emotion, strong devotion To ignore the pain To stand strong I see every smile you fake Strong emotion, strong devotion To ignore the pain to stand strong Every painful day I'll be there for you, always And together we will stand strong
  14. 5. Master of Puppets 4. The Unforgiven 3. Fade to Black 2. One 1. Enter Sandman <-- Sang that one at the top of my lungs with a couple of friends as we stumbled home drunk, trying to keep each other upright... pretty unique experience.
  15. Garfield pockets: I also have all the Viking lego models, but they're back at my parents' house.
  16. We actually have a game called Anti-monopoly, which is a lot like normal monopoly except that you win by exposing corrupt land owners and corporations in stead of being one.
  17. Every monday night is game night at the bar of my student society. While we mostly play Magic: the Gathering in multiplayer formats like Emperor and Two-Headed Giant, we also have a small collection of card and boardgames. Since a lot of people don't have class on tuesday, we often stay up playing for as long as the bartender on the night shift allows us to stay. We once played The Great Dalmuti until 5am before we were kicked out :)
  18. While the card itself is great, I think it'd help if you made the text a little bolder, and gave it a one pixel black stroke
  19. http://www.creationontheweb.com/content/view/2571/ http://web.archive.org/web/200503130642 ... hovind.asp Even fellow creationists disagree with the guy.
  20. Let's not and say we did :-w
  21. Heh, glad I'm not the only one who picked the "Sod this, I'm getting out of here!" tactic :-w
  22. Trying to go by what I actually have available to me in my surroundings... Weapons: Shortsword, crowbar, handmade torch Defence: There's an old dirtbike in the shed that still runs, I'd just grab as much fuel as I can and hightail it out of there. Hiding Place: As far away from the civilized world as my bike will take me. Technique: Slash and burn I guess, and aim for the heads, although I'd try to stay in hiding for as long as possible. Theme Song: Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper ("Death be not proud...")
  23. It was an Arkanoid clone called Egawalls. I played it with my mum a lot, since it has two paddles in stead of one. Never could make it past level 5
