    Wisp's Story

I had been watching the person approach me in the water's reflection. Just as they touched my shoulder, I spun around and grabbed their wrist with one hand, and their throat with the other. "Who are you?" I said threateningly.
  2. Just go to program files, find it, replace the [Caution: Executable File] with a nocd/cd key crack or something. Go crazy. Or, uninstall/reinstall and try it again.
  3. I can't really think of anything, other than simple things. Like, an army of 100 vs. 100,000 would lose. They might do some damage, depending on their training and armament, but nothing too serious. By the same note, if, in an all out war in Africa, I put down 300,000 of my best trained and equipped troops, that would beat the 30 or 40 thousand troops that Luxembourg would probably be able to gather. The tough part though is deciding how to settle combat between similarly sized groups.
  4. Almost all of those resources that I produce are going towards the space program in one way or another, so I can't supply any.
  5. I vote Germany steps up to the plate. Even in real life, they are reknowned for their engineers. Game wise, I've directed Luxembourg's educational system towards engineering, science, and math. Hopefully someday, i can fill that role. Especially seeing as how Germany is dealing with a lot of infants at the moment. Few more days (years) and we should have all the war mechanics we need. Are you trolling me? CAUSE THERE'S GONNA BE BAD STUFF IF YOU ARE lol? Why would I troll this thread. I love this game. I actually ended my day early to ensure my takeover of Mozambique. If I am trolling, I'm not doing it on purpose. Luxembourg's law enforcement has become a top priority to reduce the rebellious individuals in the Belgium area. Research on "project Mobile Force" continues. and dang it, I was gonna go for DRC :/ oh well. Well, no inter-player conflict has happened before now, so hey, Feel free to try to take it EDIT: 1000th post in thread :D
  6. Eh, just for ease of it, I'll change my efforts from south africa, to the DRC. As of now.
  7. Brazil is going to be completely funding its half of the project, though donations are of course welcome. Construction on the assembly space station is going smoothly, with the resources coming in from our new colonies. Here is our working plan for our colonies: Botswana will be improved immediately. We are working on installing solar panels on their cities's roofs, growing SV, and overall increasing the quality of life. Angola, Namibia and Zambia will be improved later on, but for now, with the introduction of vaccinations and SV the people are happy, and unemployment is almost nonexistant with the massive mining and agricultural operations. Once the space project is done, improvements like the ones in botswana. Annexation of South Africa will begin in 12 hours with no response. Can that be changed to "The united states exploded suddenly, just after donating 500 billion to the world space program, killing everyone"
  8. The other thing that scares me apart from moths/flying bugs are masks, if I walk past someone with their face covered with something or excessive makeup, it sends me into a panic. I can't see what they really look like, and that scares me to no end. So that would make you scared of clowns? Yeah a bit, but I don't tend to see many clowns. You'd love buckethead then. He's a guitarist, there are no pictures of him since he was like 17 without his mask on, no one (other than his friends, presumably) has heard him talk, and most people aren't sure what his real name is.
  9. So we're all exactly the same? pretty much. Axe murderer who enjoys baking and shark watching=everyone else?
  10. It's a game in the sense it's not real. But it shouldn't be in "video games" and consoles. I might try it, and shadow that might be a cool idea.
  11. How exactly is a handheld railgun powered? Unless you've developed a nuclear reactor that fits into a gun, I doubt that thing would work. Also, recoil would be different than a normal gun, since in a real gun, the gases released from the propellant are pushing it forward, but in a railgun, the magnets are pulling it forward. I haven't taken many physics classes, so i don't know what difference that would really make. The ruler of South Africa has 8 hours to post before I invade or otherwise begin conquering their country.
  12. If we were going only to Jupiter or Saturn, we wouldn't be able to get up to speed (though going to neptune would only get us up to 1/4th of our max speed, it's still a better test). The test is more about how the spacecraft holds up at relativistic speeds rather than getting to a moon.
  13. I maintain that homosexuality is neither right nor wrong. Is having blue eyes "right"? Is having brown hair "right"? No, it simply is. It's not right, but it's not wrong either. Heterosexuality isn't right either, it simply is. Saying one is right while the other is wrong is simply ridiculous.
  14. To whomever makes the next map: the three northeastern most south a On the space program, we have received our first shipment of heavy water, and are preparing it for use in the prototype engine. The small, prototype propulsion system is almost done. We've received a single prototype (yet functional) module from Norway. We are planning on putting the two together to build an "alpha" version of the spacecraft. Here are our plans for it. First, we need the space assembly station to be completed, we're currently constructing the parts of it. Then, we assemble the station in space. We bring the module and engine into space. We then attach the pre-fusion rockets (similar to first or second stage rockets in real life, they will fall off the ship once they run out of fuel. We use those rockets to launch us roughly 10,000 miles towards the center of the solar system. We drop those rockets, and engage the real propulsion system. If all goes well, we would reach the sun (we would not be close enough to the sun for the ship to be harmed) in good time, then use it's gravitational pull to catapult us towards the edge of the solar system, to the spot Neptune is currently in. Once we are a small distance from the sun, we use the engine again. We will reach neptune much faster than previously possible. If conditions are right, we will do a "moonwalk" on Triton (One of neptune's moons). Then, back to earth. It will be a much slower ride back since we will not be able to reach as high speeds as we did before, since otherwise we would just blow by earth completely. These are all subject to change, of course.
  15. I have no idea what's going on in that picture really, so not really weird I guess. If you're talking about the sport I don't care really, everyone has their own thing, and as long as it's not some sociopathic hobby, i'm usually fine with it.
  16. @ reb. I agree, almost everything in this game is unrealistic. I don't really care. Also, in "playing" this, I've learned a lot more about Brazil, and various other countries, so I guess it's kind of educational. I've been meaning to learn about brazil too, since I'm part brazilian. Ok, game-wise, most of our navy has been moved in the past few months to surround South Africa, as much as possible with our numbers. We are landing ground troops on the southern side, and marching them in from the north as well. If the south african government does not respond within a day we will being taking more drastic measures for control EDIT: also, to the map-maker, Brazil kept the three northeastern most countries of sa (The ones east of venezuela) when the SAR broke up. They are shown as unclaimed on the map, so that could be fixed next map version. EDIT2: After talking about NK/SK, I looked up antimatter. It costs more than the entire gdp of the world (or close to it) to produce a gram of antimatter. I don't think we're gonna be getting much of that. Buuut if we can manage to produce a small amount, the space project would be much more successful, as anti-matter rockets would be faster than our currently planned propulsion system.
  17. There is an alliance already, the EC. You could join it probably.
  18. South korea is open. North Korea is not. Feel free to take south korea. The remainder of brazil's operations this year will probably be classified.
  19. I couldn't get through the book. They're not romero zombies either, just people who have been returned from the dead and can be killed like a normal person.
  20. Cruiseships carry a few thousand people. Why the was the average person on the cruise ship carrying 500,000 dollars in luggage. they were bankers Fine then, if we're godmodding a bit, several of the bankers on the ship were brazilian, and in response, Brazil has sent 12 frigates, and 15 cruisers to the coast of somalia to stop all future pirating. I lol'd. Hard. Let's not let this degenerate though, if one nation is being an idiot then we can all just gang up on them realistically and explode them. I'm just waiting to see if they respond to what I said, haha. All the countries I mentioned previously have agreed to join the Brazilian Empire. Here are my early plans for them. All non-inhabited areas of Botswana will be turned into a reserve. Anyone caught poaching (the botswanan military will be converted into law enforcement, and anti-poaching patrols) will be shipped to a detention facility for an undetermined time period. We are beginning to catalog the genetics of endangered African species. The rest of Botswana will be used for farming soylente verde. Angolan, Namibian, and Zambian mining will be increased greatly. Namibia will provide Brazil with tungsten and uranium for it's space project, as well as lead. Zambia will mostly be turned into farmlands of Soylante. Miners will be paid with food, free education, and a small amount of money. Almost all the products of mining will be shipped back to Brazil to be processed and either sold, or used for our space project. The militaries of these countries will be reduced to law enforcement and border guards. I think a neutrality-stance is acceptable, and we will defend you if argentina is attacked (not it's colonies, we're not going to risk troops for other country's colonies). And finally, we have begun building a 1/10th size prototype of the propulsion system.

  23. Here's what I remember. More countries are moving in to take control of (whether by force or diplomacy) unclaimed countries in africa. There is a non-aggression pact for all the colonizing countries, that I think most have signed, the only country that I know that hasn't is my own, Brazil. Brazil and Norway have partnered to research space exploration. Any donations the USA might want to give would be well received, as Brazil and Norway don't have the spending power to front such a massive project alone, atleast not for the time being. The israelis have made lots of new small arms to improve their and their allies armies, That's all I can remember for now. I think it was mainly Eygpt that was producing new light weapons. Also, Japan is steering clear of COIN too (the pact in Africa). Whoops, I got them mixed up I guess.

  25. Other way around, 2 months=4 hours. 12 months in a year, 24 hours in a day. Oh right yeah, of course.. In my defence, it's 6am. Crap, that reminds me, I need to drive for six hours tomorrow morning. Time to go to sleep. To end things, negotiations with Namibia, Zambia, and Botswana are nearing their final stages. Our research facilities have been making great progress with the propulsion system, and we have begun construction of a space station (not on the scale of the ISS) for final assembly. Most of the details are classified at this point. The final government HQ/Bunker has been completed at an undisclosed location. Most of our frigates and cruisers we have been constructing are either completed or near completion. Military spending is going to be at a minimum for the next few years, which, in all likelihood, means no more recruiting. We are temporarily increasing taxes on all middle class and above citizens, which make up the majority of our country at this point. I think that's all for now.
