Yeah, I definitely support this. Hell, I can even be on it a lot in order to help moderate it/keep the activity up. My game client for HnH has an IRC interface built within it, so I can always be in the IRC while playing the game. I think I registered #tavern a while back, but inactivity has most likely made it available again. And I really don't care who moderates it so long as that person doesn't have an account with SomethingAwful. From my experience, they tend to be a little corrupt (hell, very corrupt) and act like jerks.

Yeah, H&H and DF are really some of the best indie games. I haven't tried DF out *yet*, but from what I've seen/heard, it's a pretty nice game. You just have to download the right texture packs or you just can't get into it because of ASCII (the default look). You should get involved with their community forums. I hear that it's a great community and not full of douchebags.

True friends as in people I would trust with my life? I can't really think of that many, if any at all. I have a sort of cynical outlook on humanity, and it seems like everyone is unreliable at best. Sure, I've met quite a few nice people, but I could never really rely on them for anything. Hell, I've stopped talking with the majority of them since I departed ways after high school.

If a GM were to have the powers to ban an individual from participation in a thread, it should be left to his own discretion. It's still easy for a troll to cause problems and then manipulate the rules so that he can cause problems and still not break the rules. As suggested earlier, a forum-specific floodgate customization would be ideal for certain roleplay threads, though I personally find the current floodgate filter tolerable in other threads. Just read the post above. My bad. Post count really isn't that big of a deal anymore, yeah. And as long as the mods/admins aren't sending us PMs over being offensive to so and so group because we're fighting Muslims in a roleplay thread, I can't think of anything further to add. EDIT: For [cabbage]s and giggles, I'll go ahead and suggest that we have a poll and decide on a new name for our board (especially considering the fact that we're not associated with Runescape in any fashion). I see ourselves as our own community in our own right, and it's personally a little awkward to discuss our community on other sites due to the name (which is a reference to Runescape).

Heya, thanks for reminding me of the fond memories I had from my early days of Runescape when I was younger. It really reminds me of when I was 13 and getting lost in Lumbridge and somehow finding my way to the closest city and finishing my first quest. I don't play anymore, but it reminds me of when I was a lot younger and what memories I had of the game, as I remembered it. Keep up the good work!

Probably, but I have a portion of my budget going into research this decade, so not sure. I'll see what I can do, though.

That's pretty interesting, but I honestly fail to see how it matters in the great scheme of things. Really, the numbers only seem pertinent because both sides have an agenda to push. The Liberals want to give a lower estimate in order to de-legitimatize the Neo-Cons, and the Conservatives of course want to give a high estimate. In the great scheme of things, who gives a [cabbage]? EDIT: The people being interviewed in magekillr's video are bat[cabbage] insane. I guess that the majority of Americans are, otherwise I couldn't earn over $100,000 a year as a pharmacist in this country. ;)

Sounds a lot like yesterday when I was writing an essay for my Honors English Composition class in university. I let myself become so stressed (I had writer's block) that I was venting the frustration by punching my computer screen (I have bruised knuckles from it). Just allowing yourself to get stressed will make it worse for you. Find some way to relax. Personally, I relax by taking a nice, warm bath and putting my ears under the water so that it gets quiet and I can only hear the sound that the pressure in the water makes. Go take a walk. Clear your mind. But don't procrastinate or let yourself shutdown because you are stressed.

Now that's just silly. Likewise, there will be loyalists in the United States (Tories, if you will) who will want to be able to move to New Brunswick or some other province in the Confederation of Canada... It would be both unwise and unreasonable to ship them back to England since, you know, it takes months to get to England from America and vise-versa.

And here's a suggestion from my end, since there's a lot of raging going on: 1. Britain cedes all territories west of the Thirteen Colonies, including Florida. The Canadian border will be marked at New Brunswick, Quebec, Nova Scotia (British side) and Massachusetts (AKA Maine) and New York (US side). 2. Britain abolishes the Crown and forms the United Commonwealth of the Republic of Britain. 3. Britain recognizes the independence of the United States of America and formally apologizes for the King's tyranny.
