Aus were looking like they weren't going to make 250, then Cameron White came out and smashed 70 from 24 balls.. Bring on the Indian innings. Anti-climax to the game, but India still won. Australia lost out in the first 20 overs where they were only on about 40 runs, whereas India had already reached 100 by that stage. Good batting by the Indians though, bring on the next ODI! I'm surprised they played S Marsh as an Opener instead of Warner, Marsh is one of the most inconsistent players I've seen in the Aus one day side. At least we know Warner can smash 40 off 20 balls before getting out.

I'm witnessing an epic New Zealand batting collapse. 20/5?

  10. Florence and the Machine are awesome. Saw them live a few months back. Haven't heard of the others, 'cept for Tegan and Sara, but I don't really like their music. I'll be sure to check out the other ones.
  11. Kick Ass - Funny movie, really wasn't what I expected and I enjoyed it :) Machete - What an awful movie... The Expendables - Enjoyed it, fun movie Prince of Persia; The Sands of Time - Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I'm a fan of the games and I think the movie did the games good justice The Incredible Hulk -

Smith isn't too bad tbh. We don't really have much selection :( If Smith is even half as good as Warne, he'll be a good spin bowler/batsman for Aus. I've seen a few games where he's bowled very well, then others where he bowls like White and get smashed everywhere. Also, NZ needing 16 runs, one wicket in hand..can they do it? EDIT: Lol, nope. Nice job from the new guy with the century though
  13. Hi, I'm moving this to General as it fits better there.
  14. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be a big need. There's a Literature thread in Off-Topic which is on 20 pages currently. You could ask there if you like, but I would have no problem if you started a new thread about it to ask for book suggestions. If a lot of topics start popping up, then a sub-forum would be made for it, but at the moment, there doesn't seem to be much need ;)

Yeah, I thought it might've been a draw as well. Perfect batting pitch though, and the current form Tendulkar is in, I guess Aus had no chance if they couldn't get Tendulkar out, he's an amazing player. [rant] Coming into the Ashes, the Aus team looks like it's going to be - Watson, Kattich, Ponting, Clarke, Hussey, North, Paine (Or Haddin if he's not injured), Johnson, Hauritz, Harris and Bollinger. I have a problem with Hauritz, Hussey and North. Hauritz is a nice spinner, but I haven't seen him as anything amazing. There's quite a few in the domestic circut that look like they have a good chance as full time Australian players, but the selectors are too scared to try out new players over Hauritz. Mr Cricket has had an awful two years, I can't remember the last hundred he scored, it was probably against England last ashes where he averaged 22..At first people just said "He's just going through a phase.." But you can't really say that for two years worth of bad cricket? I hope he performs in this Ashes series, because lately, he's been a waste of a spot in the batting line up. Clarke has been a bit of a problem lately as well, but, only last year he scored 5 hundreds in the Ashes series. North gets a hundred, then 5 scores below 20, then another hundred..etc etc..Derp. I want to see Cameron White or Callum Fergurson take his place [/rant] Also, some interesting articles; Sir Donald Test match world cup? Also, the ICC rankings are a joke..New Zealand below W.Indies and Pakistan? Right..

I want to start playing again...I miss it :( Also, Aus looking like they're about to lose to India again :( I hope it's a draw, Hauritz just went for 22 runs in two overs <_<
  17. And where is this drop bear reference from? Oh, and someone should photoshop the branch into a lightsaber, or a tophat, monocle and cup of tea into his hand :-D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULEQpUY_crc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drop_bear
  18. Oh lol, I said I was coming to Australia, but no-one really said anything lol. I'm jealous though, every time there's a game on you can walk on down. I live about 10 minutes away as well  I go to almost every international game there, domestics not as often.
  19. Woah, you got a picture of a drop bear and lived to tell the tale.

Yeah, saw a bit of the game. Was a ridiculous game, I hate the DL method..There's obviously something wrong with it..hell, England lost to the Netherlands with the DL method.
