Okay, I'll state my 2 cents first. NO game company would release two same games with exact/similar content. I'll use Blizzard as an example . Blizzard has 3 games, Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft series, not one of them is similar to one another. You may argue about Warcraft and Starcraft as RTS, but both content are in fact different (different races makes a difference). If Jagex hires game developers interested in sci-fi (i think) for Mechscape, Runescape would be different from Mechscape. Not really, with updates, Runescape will always tend to attract new players to play it. Some people may not even be interested in how Mechscape can suit their gaming expectations. They'll probably play a bit, maybe not like it, and return to RS. A bit too pessimistic here? Jagex would probably have 2 crew work on both different games, each one of them getting updates on their own. I personally don't think they would make a mess of Mechscape like you describe, and we can only just speculate. The Runescape Jagex has worked on for almost a decade.. Jagex wouldn't let it die. I believe they intend to attract new gamers for Mechscape, even if some Runescape players switch to Mechscape (maybe p2p feature resembles rs), Revenue still goes to Jagex. Jagex stands to lose nothing financially except costs for development of Mechscape.

You can get banned for blocking ads on F2P. Jagex sneaked that rule in without saying anything :-w I guess you could argue that it wasn't part of the ToS when you joined (if you joined before they made that rule...). I think you got confused with ads and pop ups. RS ads aren't suppose to produce ads, they are just some animated pictures and text on top of your cilent window, since you are just blocking pop-ups that may come out from the ads, it isn't against the rules.

That doesn't work. The cabin boy on the ship will give you the lantern during the quest. It just serves as a normal light source elsewhere outside the quest.

Maybe there is a difference in the kind of weapons you are gonna use? Like attack and str, since you can't train str on a whip, you might need to switch to ape atoll temple (dh) or some monster that can't hit well (anchor) which you don't usually use whip against.

It is actually very easy to safespot and range sara wiz with protect mage prayer. If you are going to allow him to hit you, use melee with protect mage prayer instead.

Two brews!? Ok thats really like overkill. Not sure about for higher lvls, as a lvl 100, one brew works good enough for me. The max hit from dark bow can't actually KO you at one shot. Its attack speed is so slow you probably can drink brew 3-4 before he attacks again and at most around 6 arrows at you before entangle timer runs out. Most people just use dds spec since thats what dhide is weak against. Abyss bracelet is a real waste of diamonds.. really. I like tip 4) though :

Sorry if someone posted this before me. I'll just like to note that the vine takes 1 day to grow from seed to maturity, but it will not turn wild until you checked its health, takes about 4-5 hours for it to turn wild after checking health. Pruning it gives 30 farm exp.

Why not check it on the "items dropped on death" feature? I think item order in inventory may play a role if same alch value.

Agreed and i doubt anyone ever will own one - also, 6M exp from cannon is a hell of a lot of cannonballs lol... Just you wait and see :wink: I believe there are people out there who are actually going for it (untrimmed slayer cape)
