  1. Illegal or not, go for it. I have from friends who went through on foot. They all stood in the same order they would be in a car but on of them was ahead of the rest making "engine" noises while the rest ordered their food.
  2. Awesome, thanks Nad :)
  3. So I've got an extra monitor sitting in my basement and I'm considering hooking it up so I have monitors because I've been doing a lot of graphic design lately and it's been a bit of a hassle always trying to minimize windows, reopen others, etc. So basically, I want more room to work with but I've got 1 question. My current monitor is 19" and the extra one I have is 17". I'm just wondering if everything is going to work out alright because I've really only seen 2+ monitors together when they're the same size.. Thanks
  4. Or take it one step further and build it yourself. I can only imagine the joy you'd feel the first time you boot up the machine you build yourself
  5. Dr. Pepper is supposed to be a mix of 24 different flavors and I suppose cherry is probably one of them. Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda ;)
  6. People like you make us more intelligent Americans look bad. Agreed, very much so. I kind of see what you're getting at. Yes, I would love to see both countries gone but at the same time we've got a lot of problems here in America. My biggest question is, how would we fund the war? This stupid war in the Middle East has cost us a lot that could have gone to something much better, say this war against Russia/China. What did we gain from the war in the Middle East? A dead dictator and I'm sure those terrorists are scared to death of us [/sarcasm]. At least if we were taking out to large powers who are against us, we'd be accomplishing something.

We have a problem with immigrants as well. I heard its a 20 year wait to become an official American for legal Immigrants. Here in Iowa there was a factory that got busted for having over 400 illegal immigrants working there.

:wall: Go back to 4chan if that's all you've got to say. The past 7 years have been [cabbage] with this worthless war (aside from getting rid of Saddam), rising prices, etc.
  9. ^ I agree with opening the case up to take a look. Disconnecting the cables and such from the back is no big deal. I do it all the time, and everything is color coded or it basically only fits in 1 slot. Opening it is as simple as taking out the 2 big screws holding the side on and sliding the side off (generally it slides toward the rear of the computer). So open it up, take a look and maybe post some pics up here and you'll probably get your help a lot quicker.

I think all these rising prices are total [cabbage]. I've got a year left in high school then I'm going off to college. I honestly don't know how I'm going to make it happen though if prices keep going up. At this point, my parents' business is about to go under, we're filing bankrupcy, and we have no saving account. Last summer I couldn't find a job in my area. This year the "Flood of '08" hit my area HARD. There's a lot of people out of jobs in my area and there's nothing open for me to try to help out my family (though I am currently doing some graphic design for my karate studio, but it's currently not paying anything). I'm really hoping there's a big turn around in the next few years because this country is about to be [bleep]ed.
  11. Barq's sucks the [wagon], how could you possibly like that more than Mug or A&W? Since when can we say [wagon]? It took me long enough to get used to [wagon] :(
  12. Do NOT go with Alienware. I don't care how popular they may seem, their products are terrible. I know this from first hand experience, and I will never buy one of their computers again.
  13. I've gotten PRO without a trojan before. You just have to scan your files before you open them. Get rid of anything that was spyware/adware/viruses because not only are you hurting yourself, but you're also helping spread that to others..
  14. I'll hook you up with the latest PRO version is you want. Heh, don't you love how you can get the PRO version off the normal version? I thought it was pretty ironic considering they actually want you to pay for that :P
  15. 1 word. Viruses.
  16. Cleaning up my computer (it was getting a little slow), desk, etc and dealing with this damn headache that I've had for 4 days :wall:
  17. yeah, but they stopped it, it is a limited time only thing -.- lets spam them asking to bring it back!!!!! I can get it in uk. D: And I get it all the time here in Iowa. They made the bottles look a lot like regular coke, you just gotta look harder :P
  18. Nope, I don't. I do that outrageously expensive thing called walking outside. And free plane tickets are going to help them how exactly? Hookers in amsterdam before they die from multisystem organ failure? Exercise alone does nothing. You missed my point. I was on about free support groups/dietitians etc. The US gov't is terrible when it comes to spending money. There's no way there are going to be free help groups and such unless private organizations put them together. Also, I know the cost of a personal trainer considering I had one for a few months. Last I knew he was in Florida trying out for the NFL so I haven't seen him in a while, but staying in shape is easy if you you have a damn brain.
  19. Depends which game you are playing. Vista > XP for gaming IMO. Sorry i don't play Oregon Trail anymore. But i have had 0 problems running vista and games like CoD4, Age of Conan, WoW, etc. Heh, I haven't played Oregon Trail since I had my first computer  I had a lot of problems running Shadowbane. It's not the newest game in the world but it still had a lot of people playing. At good times I could play for a half hour, no problems. At bad times I would get sb[Caution: Executable File] (crashes the game) every few seconds. That never happened when I had XP on my old computer. Plus Vista eats up a lot of memory. I'm running on 3Gb + a 1Gb flash drive being used for memory so it's not a huge problem for me, but I can only imagine the troubles it would give someone who didn't know what amount of memory they would really need. Plus, going with XP would allow you to play older and newer games. Going with Vista limits you to newer games unless you don't mind spending a lot of time looking for patches and such that will allow you to play older games. If you don't ever want to touch your old games again, feel free to take on Vista but I'm just saying XP is going to give you more options as far as what games you play.
  20. Heh, I'm using 3 sticks of 1Gb as well, plus I'm using my flash drive for extra memory just because I'm running Vista. I've got a second flash drive but the damn thing is too slow to be used for extra memory :wall:
  21. Third party programs, as suggested, are a good idea. Or if you're lazy like me you could just throw it in a zip file and it will allow you to add a password to that.
  22. I suggest XP for your OS. I currently have Vista and I have a lot of trouble when I try to use older programs or run older games. Even newer games can be an issue sometimes. XP > Vista for gaming.
  23. There are actually centers in the US for obese people who cannot do things on their own. There was a show about it but I don't think it lasted long. Basically, the obese people would be transported there, given a strict diet, then once they were able to move on their own they would begin exercising until they were healthy enough to go home. Of course, there were some that would continue to eat way too much because the center wouldn't force them to stay on their diet. If people don't want to go to these centers, I think they should hire a personal trainer. He/she would simply help with a more healthy diet, help with exercise, and motivate them to keep going. So it's not like these people can't get help. It's just that they don't want to get help then we have to listen to them cry about people staring at them or having to pay for all the extra seats they fill up on an airplane. It's [cabbage] imo.
  24. No no, I thought that at first too. But I also had some porn up in another window so my mind was in the gutter and I just went with it :P
  25. Did you know the CIA spends more money per year hiding information from the public than it does getting that info? I don't remember the source, but I'll post it if I come by it
