Santa hats and Santa suit
#-o I hope they don't give us a Santa suit. All the little kids are going to love it for a week, toss it in their bank, and that will be the end of it. #-o

Paranormal Experience
1) The ghost in my house comes and goes as it pleases. I've seen it at night and during the day. 2) It could happen. Ghosts of relatives following their family members might move house to house with them. Or a house build on an ancient indian burial ground may have the ghost of an indian haunting it.

Paranormal Experience
That's just the type of ignorant attitude that makes people look down on you. And yes, I'm sure a few of these aren't real. But to say most are lies would be a lie in it's self. Honestly, do you really expect me to believe some of these? The nun one is borderline, and some are even believable, but some of these are just too far-fetched to be true. I agree some of these are rather rediculous. Most specifically, the one about the kids brother telling him about Heaven..

RL Tattoo Extention (pic inc, sexy 3 Hit U?)
Looks nice so far. That sucks you couldn't get more done. I know when I go to get my next tattoo I want to get most, if not all of the tattoo done. I would feel awkward with a half finished tattoo :P When is your next appointment?

Biking tricks....
By "trick bikes" I assume you mean BMX. I have a Mongoose "Team Edition" (or something to that effect). I used to ride BMX when ever I could find nice jumps/gaps but I've been into skating since I had a nasty accident while trying to jump a sketchy 5 stair. I didn't have my bike with me so I grabbed my brother's bike. I'd done the jump before and it wasn't too difficult. So I went for it. Did a nice bunny hop and everything was looking good until my foot slipped off the pedal. My foot slid back under my rear leg peg and got slammed hard when I hit (since I land standing and come down to a seated position). Ended up with a minor sprained ankle and a nasty gash in the skin over my shin. Actually, I have an indent to this day where the skin never filled out. Oh and I also popped the tire when I landed.. These days I skate instead. BMX riders tend it eat it a lot worse than skaters plus I have a lot more control over a skateboard than a bike ;) As for tips.. Practice, practice, practice. Stronger legs, a lighter bike, and more upward thrust should help with bunny hops.

Weirdest Prank someone has ever done to you
Heh, last year I took a class on Adobe Illustrator. I would do that every day and the next class coming in was an Adobe Photoshop class. Well the kid who sat at the same computer as me had no clue how to fix it and the teacher would always have to fix it for him. I know this because the teacher told me to stop because even though it was funny she was the one who always ended up fixing it. One day I even made it look like there were 20 hard drives on the desktop (none of them being clickable) and the kid was utterly confused

Runescape Night-Day mode + You think Jagex planning this?
I've played a game (can't think of which one it was) that would have 3 hours of day - 1 hour of night. You wouldn't need the day/night to run on a real time schedule. Personally I wouldn't want to play at night while the game was in night mode the entire time.

Teen Decapitated At Six Flags
That's completely irrelevant. There are plenty of stupid decisions made every day, but they aren't made around roller coasters traveling in excess of 80mph with plenty of signs that say DO NOT ENTER. DANGER. What part of EXTREMELY STUPID don't you get? I think that question is stupid enough to get you executed..

Are you going to use Item lending?
I'm enjoying the item lending. I've currently got my brothers whip because I'm too lazy to save up enough to buy my own. I won't be lending my items off to random strangers any time soon though. I would rather they find a bug to keep it with someone else's items.. :-k

Charging for item lending moral?
Tell your friend Deloriagod said he's an idiot. He has no understanding of 1) how a real business works and 2) business practices in games can be compared to real life.

Attention all Offtopic Users...Project Offtopic is Underway
Of course people lie about their age. The thing is, once they say they're 13+ TIF is no longer responsible for them since they said they were of te agreed age. Porn sites do the same thing. Once you say you're 18 they give you access to the content and they're not responsible if you're not actually 18.

Heh, I love turning on Howard Stern now and then just to see what he's going on about :P Ugh, I have to say parents need to watch their children instead of complaining to their ISP or whatnot about blocking things they don't want their kids to see. I personally think if you're going to let your kid on the internet, you should know how to block sites you don't want them on or else deal with it on your own when they find that stuff. If they don't know how to block things, they have the internet right in front of them that's got more information than they know what to do with. They shouldn't be complaining to people like you because they failed to prevent problems on their own. I understand you and the rest of the staff not wanting kids to be exposed to things that might be over their heads. At the same time, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, kids need to be 13 or older to sign up for this forum. So I'm not understanding how so many people can say this is a G-rated forum when everybody here should at least be able to get into a PG-13 rated movie without a parent. So I find it rediculous that these kids would go into a thread that is clearly marked with [Mature Content] and have the nerve to report posts that they found offensive. Mature content is mature content. If you're a sensitive person, avoid those topics. Those kids can't honestly expect mature content to be kept G-rated. Overall I would love to see some way to continue having mature content topics on this forum. I know I could go elsewhere and find them but this community is much more accepting than most and it's more pleasent to read the topics with [Mature Content] around here than it is to go elsewhere and see tons of flaming because one person is interested in X and another only likes Y but feels the need to bash on the first person because their views conflict. I guess in the end, it is the decision of the staff. But I'd like to see the staff keep in mind how much more accepting this community is than other places tend to be. I'm sure we could find a way to make [Mature Content] threads work if we took some time to think about it.

What happens when you expose a kid to sex / violence
I'm just like you. I remember being really young when 007: Goldeneye came out for N64 and I would play that all the time with my dad and his friends. I played with toy guns and watched really violent movies too (my parents weren't the kind that said no just because the film was rated R). And I was looking up porn when I was pretty young too. For the most part I feel I turned out pretty normal. As far as mature content doing things to children, I don't think it does. As long as the parents are smart enough to explain what's going on, what shouldn't be done, etc. things would be fine. When I hear stories about games or movies influencing kids to kill people, smoke, drink, do drugs, etc. I feel like they're just trying to cover up the lack of information the kids were given, underlying problems, mental instability of the kids, or even just straight up bad parenting. Yeah, my dad explained drugs to me in a way I could understand. He took a peanut (with the shell) and held it up saying "this is your brain." I got a little mad that he said I had a peanut brain, but that wasn't the point. He crushed it between his fingers into little flakes and crumbs, and said "this is your brain on drugs." Now that is the proper way to parent  (I realize not all drugs will demolish your brain and such but it was a good demonstration) Yeah, my parents left it up to the school system to scare me out of using drugs and they did a terrible job. The internet acutally taught me more about how drugs truely effect you than my school did. I've experimented with a few drugs but the drugs that destroy your brain are the ones I would never try (namely hard drugs like cocain, lsd, heroin, meth, etc). When I become a parent I plan on giving my kids the truth about drugs and alcohol, not trying to scare them out of ever using them.

Gun control/i think i scared a few people
Not necessarily. Just because it's illegal doesn't mean you can't get it. It doesn't mean it's even hard to get.

Teen Decapitated At Six Flags
Suppose I die of old age.. Show me the stupidity in that.. Tbh, if I die in some stupid way I expect everyone to laugh at me. Why the hell wouldn't they laugh if I died from my own stupidity? This kid was stupid enough to cross over fences with obvious warnings and got himself killed. That was stupid and funny. He got what he had coming for what he was doing.

Attention all Offtopic Users...Project Offtopic is Underway
No doubt, you are partially correct, but many cool threads can be had, although zombie threads are overdone, creative threads like the one song/weapon/partner zombie thread were cool and fun for all ages. I think there can be a balance of stuff for all ages that doesnt have to be "mature". While some of the replies were funny, many of the images and content users were offended by or had issues with and its a fine line. I Mean, I guess I think of it like this, You have clean comedy and raunchy comedy and entertainment, done well they both can be funny, but the later can always be offensive to many people and miss its mark. The amount of complaints from off topic users in the middle/high school age range though were amazing in the sheer volume and overall, I think this is a positive change for off topic. On one hand I can easily see where you're coming from, but on the other hand all those people getting upset over a picture are in for a huge slap in the face when they come into reality and I don't feel that TIF Staff should be helping them live a sheltered life. If I were to suggest anything to compensate for this issue, it would be a subforum with permission needed for users to access it. As we all know by now, when we signed up for TIF we signed away our right to say what we want without being censored. Using that concept, users who wish to be granted permission to access the board would have to agree to the same soft of agreement stating that anything they find offensive is in to way tied to TIF community/staff. They decided they wanted to go into that board after being warned about the possible material therefore if they get upset the responsibility lies soley on themselves.

This is why I don't think it should be a sticky. It'll get more attention when it's being bumped within the normal topics. Hell, I only noticed it originally when it was a normal topic; and almost missed it when it was made a sticky and I was looking for it. Agreed. I don't even know how I ended up in this thread, I just noticed it was up and started reading. You do realise the morjity of users in this area are middle/high school students, correct? I know we have some folks around here who are in college or even older but at this point they make up the minority and do a good job of fitting in with the rest. If all we're going to be doing here is debating and having deep conversations, I for one won't be around much. Don't get me wrong, those kinds of topics are great but there needs to be some fun. Topics with [Mature Content] always had plenty of laughs, amusing stories, etc while serious topics lead to a lot of flaming and debating over things that you'll find many users aren't interested in. I've always wanted to see this forum take a step up, but not at the cost of having fun.
