  1. If you're going to post something as bold as this, put an explanation with it, I would love to hear it.
  2. People aren't nearly as selfish as they should be
  3. Someone always has to post this on every single drop rate thread. YES. WE KNOW it can be anywhere from 1-5000 kills, he's asking about a general drop rate on average. No one thinks that on their 250th kill they will automatically get dragon claws.
  4. Is this possible with 1 Summoning? I have 89 attack/strength, 99 defence, 96 range, 99 hits, 70 prayer.
  5. Start out with one defence, getting high range and strength like you said. Once you get to a decent level (like 70+ range and 70+ strength) you'll want to get your defence to 33 and do dragon slayer. So you can evolve into a range tank and be able to use the green d hide body. One defence pures only work for so long, sooner or later you'll have to get 40 defence. The only "rule" in f2p is never get prayer, without p2p and prayer pots it's just not practical.
  6. There's a clan recruitment section here on the site, try there. But you would probably be better off doing it on the RSOF
  7. What equipment is recommended against Nomad? I ran in without reading anything and expecting an easy fight....so yeah.
  8. Merchanters don't think they'll soon be discontinued, the intelligent ones know they are literally worth nothing and aren't rare. Mint cakes are just a tool used by merchanters as another form of junk, a much more valuable form of junk, making higher priced items much easier to buy. An item is worth what the players value it at, merchanters have joined together placing this item at a high street price in order for them to make their trades easier. As soon as this form of agreement fails (people stop valuing the item), the item fails. A mint cake is nothing more than currency. Think of it like an American Dollar. As paper the dollar is worth nothing, as an idea it is worth one dollar. We created it because it is much easier to deal with paper rather than deal with items such as gold or other precious materials. Similarly, it's much easier to deal with a few mint cakes rather than 400K willow long bows.
  9. I can't find that post? There's no user 'Philip Kolar' and farming timer also doesn't link me to the post, can you give a link :o? Here it be
  10. Well speaking optimistically you have at least a year to think about this. Getting the money for 99 prayer is the "easy" part, by the time you have enough money for a white it will have gone up 30%, time is on your side.
  11. I think you're jumping the gun a bit here...... Deciding what outfit to wear on a 99 prayer pure you haven't even started yet (and I doubt you'll finish) is a bit premature.
  12. It's just common trends, runescape players have very little faith in an economy. An item drops a few hundred K and a few people start to sell theirs out of panic. This, in turn drops it a bit more, then more people panic and sell, which then causes a big drop and everyone panics to sell. The item reaches it's lowest price, at this point merchanters pounce, driving the price a few percent higher than it was originally. Generally, unless you're merching the item, keep it.
  13. Yes these videos are all really awesome and everyone in them are mint drummers, but at least give this kid a chance. Even if he was good enough he doesn't have the kit for many of these, I mean for christ's sake Pert has a 360 degree kit.

About halfway through Atlas Shrugged, got really into Ayn Rand after I read The Fountainhead and her Romantic Manifesto.
  15. I'm looking to start summoning but I want to try to conserve the charms I have by starting out gaining experience only from quests, then use my charms more efficiently making higher leveled pouches. Any suggestions on which quests to start? Thanks
  16. I'm also on this problem, going from 95-99 mage. I've recently calculated I'm losing only 64gp per superheat (iron ore), which I believe in combination with the 12.5 smithing experience you're gaining, is a much better alternative to high alching. In comparison, if you alch the typical yew long method you're losing 172gp and only gaining 12 extra magic xp per cast. However superheating is a bit more tedious with the banking, it's all about personal preference. As a side note if you're really dedicated you can superheat much faster than you can high alch
  17. I'd wait for more information on this new skill, get every bit of information you can as soon as possible. Assuming this new skill is a new money drainer there is potential to make unbelievable amounts of money, especially with the amount of money you have to invest, assuming you know enough about the skill before it's released. If you're given enough information than you can feel confident enough to invest 130M into a certain material, do it. Of course this may be months away, so it depends how quickly you want this.
  18. Well I have the three others, but I was under the assumption that you mainly just trained with gold
  19. So I'm level one summoning right now and I've managed to save up 3200 gold charms from training, which I guess means I'll have 3475 with the quest charms. Could you please tell me how best to allocate these. As in what should I start off making and what level should I start making something else and so on. Thanks
  20. Don't really understand why this works, but it does so it's all good, thanks.
  21. This is probably going to sound extremely dumb but I've gone from a simple Casio to one of the more complicated calculators available (from my perspective). I'm just trying to start off with the basics so I just tried simple division, can't even get that right. Anytime I try to divide a problem that will come out as a decimal all it does is give me back my original problem. For example if I divide 89 by 88 it will give me 89/88 as an answer, not exactly helpful. How can I get it to output a decimal?
  22. I'm having trouble finding which guest knows about his past.....there's too many imps/people here you can't see any of the npc's. I've been right clicking constantly trying to find them.
  23. I don't want to train. I just want to get rid of these shots. I went to the ape atoll gorillas once with the lowest range bonus I could get and just afked, prayed at altar, afked repeat.....not sure of a better way.
