OT: I'd go through and do like an hour of each skill and just see which one you enjoyed the most, then keep going with that one. Most skills will earn you money throughout your trek, but some more than other. If you can handle the monotony of Runecrafting, go for that one. Keep pretending you got 99 cooking because you enjoy the skill, gets me every time. I'd be willing to bet quite a bit it didn't turn into your favorite until skill capes were introduced.

Don't start thinking about getting a 99 until that skill naturally comes into the 90-92 range. If you haven't gotten it there naturally there's a 90% chance you won't get it to 99 from 60-80...or whenever else you start. Waiting for it to naturally come into the 90's will insure you actually enjoy that skill, then you can go ahead and finish it off for the cape. Just please don't settle for cooking or fletching, people look like total morons when they wear those.

Black Salamander would definitely be your best bet. Last year your stats would not have been high enough to make efficient runs but I think at the prices of barrows now you would do fine. Just make sure you bring a shovel, your best armor, d hide for ahrim, a melee weapon, 2 pray pots (you will need less of these once you get better at it), a 1 click tele in case things go wrong, and the rest sharks. Be sure to start at dharok's grave first (the bottom left one if facing the mounds from the entrance). After that it's personal preference. I do Dh, Karil, Ahrim, Veracs, Torags then Guthan. Your order is up to you, but always start with Dh no matter what, as you MUST pray on him all the way until he's dead, he can easily 1 hit you at somewhat low hp.

I'm in the process of swapping my main's name with my other account's name. I've been "allowed" to change to the other account's name since the 5th. I read on the site that it gives extra days to older accounts until the name is allowed to be taken. It's been 8 days since then and that seems like a pretty long time to make a name available. I believe I made the account in 2006, which doesn't seem very old. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with this and how long it takes.

I have only ever done God wars twice, I solo'd Armadyl successfully once and it scared the [cabbage] out of me so I never went back. Then the first week they opened it me and my friends tried Bandos I believe, and killed him a couple of times with no strategy at all. So I'm very inexperienced. Some mentionable stats: 99 def, 70 prayer, 95 range, 99 hp. One summoning however, not sure how important that is. So let me know if you would like to team up with me to do some runs every now and then.

Corrupt weapons degrade time starts as soon as you wield them, it stops when you take them off, and starts back up again once you wield it again.

They definitely did and I've seen it, it was in a Q&A maybe? I'm sure someone else here will be able to provide you with a link, though.

How much cash do you have?

I have a bgs and I like it a lot, but I've come into a little more money and now I could sell the bgs and buy claws. I generally use it for clan wars, pits etc. Which would you recommend? I have never actually tried claws but I've seen them used, they seem very inconsistent. Opinions?

I see nothing wrong with price manipulators. They're pursuing self interest just as you are. You want Herblore for money/the cape/fun/world domination who knows, it's in your self interest. They strictly seek money, what's wrong with that? They're taking advantage of you, and the many players like you, who don't want to "waste" time gathering they're own supplies so that you can achieve your goal in the quickest way possible, nothing wrong with that. You think they're the only ones "hurting" the economy by manipulating? What about you? Are you not one of thousands contributing to rising costs by adding to the demand of an already low supply when you could be out getting them yourself? It's the same exact principle from opposite angles. I don't blame you or them, it's just how things work.

Do these armors decay just while wearing them? Or only during combat?

Bronze knives cost money now!? Times sure have changed, last time I mined and smithed it was completely free, I'd quit too.

If pking is all you're interested don't come back, it's still as [cabbage]ty as it was before, and I doubt it will get better.

Be sure to take into account getting hand cannons as well, they are a much more common drop and are skyrocketing right now, last I checked they were 260k a pop. You may find you will make more off the hand cannons than the picks

He means what is the best weapon without relying on the special attack. For instance the D Bow has a good special but when not using the special there are better weapons you can use.

How has only one other person said Morrigan's? He said money is no option and you guys are suggesting rune cross bows..... Look up some videos of 99 rangers and Morrigan's Javelins, your decision should take 3 seconds

To above poster ^ he wouldn't get +-2. I'm level 71 with your exact set up and I generally get between 55-65 natures per run, with the 43 essence. I would recommend natures for now, they're excellent money....for now. But I've noticed a huge jump in the amount of people crafting them with the new update so I don't know how much longer they will hold their price.

Just going off your defence level I would recommend guthans, guthans is always handy, but people with higher defence can generally manage without it. So it can't hurt to use it.

You can do God Wars, but you won't be efficient. You'll be losing far too much money on supplies. Your defence should be 80-85, 70 prayer like others have said, hp needs to go up. Very few experienced partners will go with you when there are so many more people willing to partner with much higher stats.

I sold mine as soon as I got Zanik's crossbow, the Dark Bow really is obsolete.
