Even if there was a sequel, which I doubt will come anytime soon, there would most likely not be a new dragon weapon related to the quest, because originally Monkey Madness had no special reward besides experience. The Dragon Scimitar was added later, and, to be honest, since none of the recent dragon weapons, such as the two-hander or axe, have not been quest-related, I'm pretty sure that quest-related dragon items are a thing of the past.

I certainly hope there's one, by the way you've spelt 'sequel' wrong.

I just finished Monkey Madness. I'd love there to be a sequel to it!

Theres probably one in the pipe line but i imagine jagex make that before even thinking about a sequal just to keep the story going. Dont think it will be in the next month or something.

The person who originally wrote the monkey madness plot for jagex no longer works there, so who know how long it will be before the next one comes out (if ever)

Wasn't "The Eyes of Glouphrie" a sequel to Monkey Madness? Obviously, it wasn't "Monkey Madness 2" or anything, but it did continue the storyline. It seemed pretty obvious that the series will continue at some point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You have the quest sequence reversed. "The Eyes of Glouphrie" came before "Monkey Madness".

somewhere in september-december 2006: eyes of glouphry released

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

monkey madness has been around a LOT longer then eyes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok so I haven't been playing long enough to know about the quest release dates. What I meant was the story sequence. "The Eyes of Glouphrie" felt like it should go before "Monkey Madness" aka a prequel. Can Glough be a decendent of Glouphrie?

Seems like they didn't really address the issue. Of course there isn't a sequel to MM... yet. They didn't definitively say whether a sequel was in development, just that one hasn't been released (which we all know).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ugh, and to imply that all questions can be answered in the Knowledge Base when they can't even answer them directly is just ridiculous.

I Hope there will be another MM I loved the quest but I just hope the second one will have an equaly as good or in fact better reward :D.

I heard that the ones who made MM quest quit Jagex or something. That is why I doubt there will be a sequal, but there are many hints, as in the locked door near the place where you cook the snake for RFD part of King Monkey, for example.

It is the room with the rock, but there is a locked door where the Zombie Monkeys are, where there is a red dot with "Monkey Skull" if i remember correctly. It is the place where you bless the m'speak ammy for MM I think.
