Guthix is talking for the opposite, Saradomin and Zamorak thought want to create restrictions. With balance the will of free-choice is available, but if Saradomin or Zamorak would be the controllers theydn't accept Bad or Good actions, what kind of freedom is that?

Lets say Saradomin won the God war. Then Guthix would be the bad guy, comming into the lands and create havoc and destruction in order to keep his so called "balance" between good and evil. When infact, the only balance there is, is good.

In order for there to be balance, there must be equal parts of good and evil in the world. If there was to be absolutly no evil than there couldn't possibly be balance. Take a scale for example. On both sides there must be equal weight in order for it to be balanced, the same is true here. Without any evil there can be nothing to judge the good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also keep in mind that good and evil is also purely a matter of perspective. On either side of the conflict both sides believe that they are fighting for the good and that the other is evil. A villain that is evil for the sake of being evil is quite unrealistic.

He is the removed creator of runescape who only intervenes when his creation is threatened.

I say "he" since his statue is of a male, budha-looking person in my altar.

 

 

 

Guthix is the only real god of runescape, since his power far surpasses the others.

 

 

 

Saradomin and Zammorack are humans that have gained immortality and a small bit of power to carry out their ambitions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guthix doesn't take part in the boring morality play of good vrs. evil, which is why I like him.

 

 

 

Also, I like his snazzy green stuff.

Guthix is an amazing guy/girl... thing, I am sure he is the lease followed god on RuneScape, making his amour the cheapest to buy, but that don't make him cheap.

Just to point out Guthix is my least favourite god.

 

 

 

My Admiration for Zamorack comes from the fact he was a mortal that became a god, that alone meant he must have been great.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How can you say that zamorack was powerful enough to become a god from human form? Zaros was owning Zamorack until sudenly he sliped and the staff plunged into his chest. Zamorak is a coward and only has strength when he has "body guards" around him. His rise into godship was shure fire luck. He became a god through luck and another gods staff. I mainly follow Zaros but since most people dont classify him in the god trio i go for guthix since he had no part in the war between Zamorack and Zaros.

So whomever said that Guthix is just powerhungry, you are wrong. Especially because you're wrong in the fact that Guthix ended the God War because he was afraid of one of the other God's winning. He ended the God War because Saradomin and Zamarok's Armies were destroying Gielinor, Guthix is the God of Balance and Nature, he represents the planet. As someone posted earlier, good and evil is like a scale. Guthix is (in my opinion) the point that the scale rests on, or he can represent the tiny grain of sand (or whatever you want it to be) that balances out the scale.
