March 17, 200719 yr According to dnscoop.com, tip.it is worth an estimated value of $815,500 thats awesome, google is also worth in the billion range. Anyone else have some fun sites that are worth a bunch?
March 17, 200719 yr Cool. So informative. Anyways, dosen't nsscoop just go by bandwith or something, you'd think it would depend more on the type of site, not just bandwith? Last.fm Signature Overlays
March 17, 200719 yr "The estimated value of http://myspace.com is: $1,938,800,000" Hm... Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
March 17, 200719 yr I can't even get http://www.google.com to give me any results.I got one to work; then everything after was an invalid url :uhh:

March 17, 200719 yr TIF is worth $13,090 Why does it say " tip.it was created on: March 11 2007". :-s Me doing staff.
March 17, 200719 yr TIF is worth $13,090 If that it true it is pretty good! 13k for a forum site, not bad. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
March 17, 200719 yr TIF is worth $13,090 If that it true it is pretty good! 13k for a forum site, not bad. Considering it's the first thing that comes up on Google when you type the word "tip", it's a pretty big site. Can't really sell it for a lot though, because it really has no way to expand at all, lol. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
March 17, 200719 yr website.com sold for $750,000USD most of tip.its value is in the traffic its a good audiance to have espesially if marketed correctly people would pay a good price just for this forums traffic. EDIT: forgot to mention tip.it isnt worth $815,500 I can tell you there wont be a buyer at that price. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002
March 17, 200719 yr interesting, but how is it worth that much?? Traffic. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
March 17, 200719 yr interesting, but how is it worth that much?? Traffic. The fact that the traffic is most returning visitors devalues the traffic significantly. To keep returning visitors you have to offer something they want if you pulled the websitedown and put up a page of ads it wouldent takelong for the traffic to reppidly decline as users learn that the service they once came for is gone. To leave the service up and running you have the same situation that exists currently. ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002
March 17, 200719 yr 815?? The numbers are bad!!!! You only have to type four extra keys for me to not think "ur" an idiot.solardeathray.teensupergenius.com
March 17, 200719 yr Remember that that site isn't telling you the estimated value of the business, it's telling you the estimated value of the domain only.
March 17, 200719 yr Anyone up to buy share's of Tip.It? :P That's not bad since its a simple Forum/Fan Site. I wonder how much Runescape itself is worth... :-k
March 17, 200719 yr I can't even get http://www.google.com to give me any results.I got one to work; then everything after was an invalid url :uhh: You must put the http:// in front of the url [Star Wreck][PM me][My gallery][DeviantArt][Cool T-shirts!][iron Sky - Trailer is now out!]
March 17, 200719 yr Even with the http:// it was having a cry, but it seems to work now :-? And interestingly enough... Gaia Online is worth $2,565,200 kinda low for the biggest forum on the internet :ugh: And offtopic.com (6th largest) only hits like $46,000 or so :-?
March 17, 200719 yr Anyone up to buy share's of Tip.It? :P That's not bad since its a simple Forum/Fan Site. I wonder how much Runescape itself is worth... :-k What if Tip It had stock, would anybody buy it? :o Me doing staff.
March 17, 200719 yr TIF is worth $13,090 Why does it say " tip.it was created on: March 11 2007". :-s That's when the domain was last updated. Domain names expire then need to be rebought by the owner otherwise they will be sold to someone else. I doubt this is accurate at all if Runescape appears to be worth only 600,000 more. NuclearBB: Hmm, what's this?
March 17, 200719 yr It runs a lot on Alexa data from what I could tell. And since it's almost spyware and an IE only addition - you can see the problem it causes with reliability.
