amazizing333
i recently got a new Onyx DS Lite, and i'm wondering wat good games i should buy, or any bad ones i SHOULDN'T buy... i only have "Spectrobes" right now, and i'm thinking about getting "Custom Robo Arena"... any good suggestions? :-s EDIT: i played Spectrobes for awile, and it is good... the graphics r really good, good story line, lots of different spectrobes. but, finding the "cubes" that unlock speacil features can be a little hard (especially on large maps...), digging up the same fossils over and over can be a boring, and the battles... well they aren't that much action in them... overall, i give it a 7.5 out of 10 on the OTHER hand, i got Custom Robo Arena, and i like it very much. there r many different parts, so u can add any part to any robot, the weapons r very different from each other, u can check out ur opponents parts b4 battle, u can change parts b4 a battle to adapt to ur opponent. the story goes along pretty fast, after 2 days (game days, not RL days) i was already in the school tournament, u get money and exp pretty fast, weapons don't cost much at all, u can even try out anything in the shop against a dummy (moves but can't attack) b4 u buy it, after u unlock the arcade u can customize the dummy anyway, then u fight it (i found out that i was really hard to shoot...). but if ur not in a battle and ur walking around... its really boring, wen ur fighting graphics r awesome, but outside of a battle, u can't even move diagonally. not that many places to explore either... overall i give it a 9 out of 10 POST UR RATINGS OF THE GAMES IF U WANT TO!
unknownmasterofnothing
If you like board games, I'd suggest clubhouse games. Personally I haven't bought a ds game in a while. I'm waiting for the new zelda though.
stevepole
I would recommend Jump Ultimate Star. Its a really fun game, its like super smash brothers but with anime characters. The only thing though is that you have to import it if you don't like in japan or go to a local import game shop to get it.
sephiroth_king
Wait for Zleda Phantom Hourglass. Oh, to bad you got Spectrobes...That game is horrid, IMO. If you want a game like that, get Pokeom Diamond or Pearl. Spectrobes is Basically copied off of Pokemon, and at least Pokemon is good. And they are both coming out soon, I might actually get Pearl just to try it out. Um, I loved Final Fantasy 3, awesome game. I also loved Mario Kart, Traumua Center: Under the Knife...But those are it in my book. I have a couple that you might not like, like StarFox Command and Pirate of the Carribean...Anyway, other than Pirates, the games I mentioned were decent. Can't wait for Zelda! :D  Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)

All I have is Super Star, I want Ultimate. Anyway, for good games try Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros., Warioware Touched, etc. A bad game would be any game based on a cartoon or movie. Period.
Noobish111
Woah, No one said Animal Crossing: Wild world. It all depends on your liking. If you like the classics, go with Mario 64 DS or Castlvainia. Ex-Runescaper

remoteman
*slap* Mariokart DS is pretty good, especially good with multiplayer. I've got Metriod Prime Hunters, but it's really long and confusing, hard to get through levels, and their isn't really much of a story line. Good online play though. Pokemon Pearl and Diamond are coming out April 22nd, and Pearls's a DS game I'm getting, along with Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I can't believe, though, I'm excited for a Pokemon game. crimsonking
You absolutly must get Mario64 and Final Fantasy3. Kirby squeak squad, Mario and Luigi partners in time, and Children of Mana are pretty good too. Age of Empires and Tao's adventure are decent. And Pokemon Ranger can really only hold your attention for a small amount of time before you get bored with it. Those are all the games I have for DS currently. ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~

TotalTalker
Good: Advance wars dual strike Its a strategic game, where you have to create your own units and attack the enemy. its a good game if you like thinking about your next move. Nintendogs Exellent if you like to look after pets at your own level. you can care for them as much as you want. what i eam is that you can pamper them if you want Animal crossing Its may sound and look like its too young for you, but its a sort of rpg game, and there is so much to it. You have your own house, you pay mortage, and theres lots of different events on it throughout the years as well. It was number one for weeks on end. Rubbish: Ice age, havnt been bothered to find out the full name I played on this game for about 2 mins, and its probably the worst game ive ever been on. no point in the game what so ever. Hope i helped!!
tomdavies90
bleh why do people like animal crossing....it's so boring it's another game for people who like playing games for 5 minutes then turning them off and playing 5 minutes later on, same as nintendogs...... i suggest tony hawks if you like skateboarding games, really fun, i have american sk8land, downhill jam doesn't look as good Sig by me.... The craze has barely anywhere to go, you'd think people would have had their fill of it by now, its been nearly 10 years since the whole thing started, but its still going strong for some wierd reason. Nitramosma
...its been nearly 10 years since the whole thing started, but its still going strong for some wierd reason. I was flipping through my old Nintendo Powers a while ago and guess what I found? In a 1994 episode (April or May I think) it was talking about this crazy Japanese game called Pocket Monsters. If I remember correctly it called it "gimicky(sp?)" and gave it only about a 4/10. Lol. Shows what Nintendo know about there old games, but back on subject, Pokemon is actually 13 years old. How crazy is that?
