March 23, 200719 yr Hi. I'm wondering if I should use Pest Control or not. I'm going for 100 combat, and 95 currently. I have enough for pretty much anything needed, other than a 99 cape or fire cape >.>. Pros - Fast EXP - With Affliction I can get pretty good points - 100 combat Cons - I'll have to buy 60 Prayer - I have to buy some items such as fury, whip, berserker ring, etc. - Affliction isn't the best :( But it's the best thing i can use, so I'll make the best of it. Thanks in advanced.
March 23, 200719 yr To use pc or to not use pc. To spend countless extra hours training or not. To have more time to yourself or not. To go to the beach or sit at home on the computer doing something which could have been done a week ago. Any easier to decide now? The only disadvantage is all the geniuses calling you a 'pc product'
March 23, 200719 yr I'd say use it. If it's there, there is no reason you shouldn't use it. ^ Thanks Tiff
March 23, 200719 yr In my option the three efficient ways to train melee are: -PC -Slayer tasks -Bandits 2480+ total

March 23, 200719 yr When im training combat, I'll do a few slayer tasks, then go to PC. And keep switching it back and forth. You get the best of both worlds and its not mindelss hours of killing the same portal over and over. Goal: All stats 70+
March 23, 200719 yr Another con, is that you'll only receive a fraction of the Hp experience you would get from regular training. Which means either more PC or regular training in the future to catch that up also. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]

The exp from the points given by the void knight is extra With normal PC fighting you gain normal xp. Lets say, if you get a total of 400 points and spend them equally on str, def, att and hp, you will still be equally balanced. I prefer combat+slayer though. More fun, and I want slayer up. March 23, 200719 yr It depends what you want to do. If you want it faster, then just use PC. If you want to have slayer experience also, then train on slayer monsters.
March 23, 200719 yr No, not a helpfull post at all. You didn't understand my post? I thaught I made it clear. Do you want to spent heaps of extra hours training or not? PC will take much less hours to achieve your goal. Clear enough now?

March 24, 200719 yr you could always just pc the prayer to pc can get boring tho...i suggest get 200-300 points then find something else to do (maybe do a few slayer tasks or earn a little money) then go back to it and take breaks, if not pc will wear you down (or atleast it does me) but i would do pc for most of it anyway. Barrows drops: ahrims staff (2), karils coif, karils xbow, torags plate body, veracs helm.
March 24, 200719 yr I recommend if you are enjoyingh PC..do IT. I'm not a PC fan, but have nothing against those who play it....i just don't enjoy it that much. For me, Just about all my combat is slayer tasks now. Best of luck whichever way you go! Count
March 24, 200719 yr Join Heart Unit, much faster than Aff, and go PC. Or just train combat along with slayer ;) Road To Trimmed Completionist

Thanks in advanced. First, if you're at PC, why not just PC to 60 prayer? Also, you don't need fury, whip, berserker ring at all to PC well... If you THINK you need them for PC, then you should think you'd need them for normal training too...? I personally don't PC, I don't really like it, I find it boring, and the thing I hate the most is people who get ridiculous stats (not just high), I mean like: 70 attack 99 strength 1 defence 51 prayer 78 Hitpoints notice that the last one is a wee bit lowish? What I would do if I pc is this: On irc, some channels have bots that, i you give your: attack, strength, defence, prayer, magic, and ranged, they estimate what your health to be. I would try to keep my health 1-2 over what it thinks yours should be. Although training combat stats with slayer also helps you make a lot of money, and opens up a lot of possibilities later on. your choice though In Soviet Russia, glass eats OTers. Alansson Alansson, woo woo woo! Pink owns yes, just like you!GOOOOOOOOOO ALAN! WOO!
March 24, 200719 yr Dont you think that 1 def is a little bit of an exageration. I think you shuld do pc mixted with slayer or just rgualr combat. All u really need for pc is rune with a bezerker helm and a whip with obby sheild or rune defder and a glory will do fine. I dont have a sig anymore =[But I did manage to get every skill in the highscores
