What on Earth am I on about? You may know me already, I started going for 99 Fletching about 3 weeks ago, starting from level 51 (1% of the bar). Well I have decided that this blog needed a bit of livening up, and I needed a bit more encouragement. So I have changed it slighty. My target is still 99 Fletching, but when I get it, I will buy the following items, and get 65 slayer with them: . Black Mask.....[450k]-[*] . Full Guthans..............[] . Spear..........[5,500k]-[] . Helm...........[2,000k]-[] . Body..............[800k]-[*] . Skirt...............[500k]-[*] . Whip...........[1,600k]-[*] . Obby Shield...[300k]-[*] "*" means I have the cash, but haven't bought it, "**" means I have bought it. I make all that to be around 11mil, and I'm making 14mil Fletching, so I'll have 3mil to play with *rubs hands together*. This blog will stay how it is until I get 99 Fletching, then I will post pictures of level, party, my new look, and I'll convert the whole thing into a slayer blog. SLAYER I have noticed while browsing the forums that a lot of people have got D Chains from dusties, and... I want one! So I'm going to get 65 Slayer from my above outfit, and keep killing dusties until I get that shiny metal chain! While wearing Guthans, I'll train strength, and while using whip, I'll train Attack. I've asked around, and I think by the time I get 65 Slayer, I should be able to kill around 60-70 dusties per trip. Getting the chain could take days, weeks, or months, but I am very determined on Runescape, and I will get one. Strung 1k Yews and bought 11k flax I need for all the Yew Longs (u) in my bank. Going on holiday tommorow, I might be able to get on a computer, but I don't think I'll be able to play Runescape on it, just use the forums. Got 1,200 total! 15th May - 24th May: Levels: None Playing Time: Several hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k Decided to have a break from Fletching as I near 50% to quest. By the time I start again I want: Desert Treasure, Heroes and Legends, Lunar Diplomacy, and at least Rune gloves. 14th May: Levels: None Playing Time: 2 hours Yews Cut: 300 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k Got my Torso today!! Fletched about 300 Yews while I was writing this, and then went to Pest Control. Click here to see the post about it. 13th May: Levels: None Playing Time: 6 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k No Fletching at all, but I was racing a mate to get the Fighter Torso, so I worked really hard, ended the day with all the Collector and Healer points I need, around 220 Defence, and 280 Attack. 12th May: Levels: 91 Fletching Playing Time: 5 hours Yews Cut: 2,000 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 1,000 Profit Made: 240k Decided to start working towards a fighter torso today, so I strung 1k Yew Longs to make some money for Rune Boots, Glory and D Scim. I went to Barb Assualt for a bit and killed the queen and got to wave 9, then went back to lummy and cut 2k Yews for 91 Fletching. 50 Attack points, 23 Defender Points, 169 Collector Points, 184 Healer Points, and a Queen Kill. 11th May: Levels: None Playing Time: 2 hours Yews Cut: 3,500 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 280k I fletched. 10th May: Levels: 90 Fletching, 53 Ranged, 37 Slayer Playing Time: 3 hours Yews Cut: 2,000 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 1,000 Profit Made: 200k Started my Slayer Task today, 128 blue drags, killed 14 in my first trip, because I completely messed up the inventory. But i got 37 Slayer and 53 Range, so not all that bad. 9th May: Levels: None Playing Time: 3 hours Yews Cut: 2,500 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 200k Sold off everything in my bank worth more than about 50k, and ended up with 2.9m, enough supplies for 3k Yew Longs (another 1.8m), and 400k in runes I just bought. I also have around 400k in gems, herbs, arrows, armour, hides, and other junk. Makes me worth a total of 5.5m! I bought 10k Yews for 2.9m, and cut 2.5k. Around 41% at the day of today I think. 8th May: Levels: None Playing Time: 3 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 2,000 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k I got 128 Blue Dragons as a task, and did Watchtower so I can kill the Dragons there. 7th May: Levels: 89 Fletching Playing Time: 7 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 1,000 Yew Longs Strung: 4,000 Profit Made: 240k Made 900k from merchanting! Woot. Also got 89 Fletching from stringing. I'm now doing Slayer and Fletching at the same time! I bought obby cape, torags plate and legs and a black mask. That's the boring stuff out the way. I got really bored Fletching today, so I edited my blog. Got 86 Fletching after the 1k Yew Longs I strung, then 87 after all the 6 thousand Yews I cut. Found 600 flax in my bank... kind of wierd seeing as I buy 1k at a time, anyway thought I'd spin them while I wrote this blog for the day. Also started RFD, and did the dwarf mini quest, so I got the chest and Rock Cake. The goal sigs haven't updated as I write this, but I think I got about 5% today. It's the weekend, just looked at the computer on my bike and I've cycled 40 miles this week (about 60km), and one of my mates just told me in school that he's quitting Runescape and his splitting his cash between all his mates that play Runescape, including me! I'm getting 7mil!!!!! And it get's better, he's giving some cash to a mate that moved house a while ago, but he can't get hold of him. He told me if he can't get hold of him by the end of the month, he's going to give me the other guys 7mil aswell!!!!!!! 14mil!?!?!?!? Woooooooot. It's like Christmas come early. Then I bought Torags plate and legs, they own. I went to a mates (Phil Skill) 99 Cooking party (why I didn't get much done today). Gave him 99k for cape, aren't I nice? Getting really bored of Fletching now, but I will not let Phil Skill beat me. I will get that level! (Fighting talk) 24th April: Levels: 61 Crafting Playing Time: 4 hours Yews Cut: 1,000 Flax Spun: 1,000 Yew Longs Strung: 1,000 Profit Made: 80k Didn't work very quickly today, only 3k of products in 4 hours. I was to busy on tip.it forums and making pixels. Got 61 Crafting while spinning the flax. I currently have 3k flax, 1k bs and 4k Yew Longs (u). Once made into 4k Yew Longbows and sold, I will have 2.6m. I'll get the last 30k xp I need for 70 def, and get Torags plate and legs, leaving me with 1.3m (enough for 3k Yews and Flax). Then I'll work on strength (currently 66) with D Scim for a bit. Eventually, once I've got 99 Fletching, I'll be wearing - Zerker, Fletching Cape, Fury, Whip, Veracs Brassy, Obby Shield, Veracs Skirt, Cooking Gauntlets, Fighting Boots, Zerker Ring. I make that to be around 9m (I already have Zerker Helm, I took away about 200k because of price drops a month or 2 from now) 23rd April: Levels: 85 Fletching Playing Time: 3 hours Yews Cut: 2,000 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 2,000 Profit Made: 160k Cut the 2k Yews I bought yesterday while doing homework (saves time :P). Strung 1k Yews, sold, bought 1k bs and 3k flax. (Bought the bs so I can lvl tonight). And... I leveled tonight. Yay! Also bought 1k Yews. 22nd April: Levels: 84 Fletching Playing Time: 2 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 300 Yew Longs Strung: 1,100 Profit Made: 176k HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JENKEES HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! As you may have gathered, today is my birthday, and, as usual over the past few days, I hardly got on Runescape. But I did manage a bit. Look up. Also bought 2k Yews. 21st April: Levels: None Playing Time: 1 hour Yews Cut: 1,000 Flax Spun: 200 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k Wow today was a great day off school! Spent most of the day at a theme park, came home and a I went for a ride on my new bike. (Some little girl crashed into me and broke the front reflector. Watched TV for an hour, and then managed to squeeze in an hour on Runescape, I wanted to get 1k yews cut and spin my remaining 500 flax, but I only managed 200. Still pretty good for an hour of work. 20th April: Levels: None Playing Time: 0 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k Same as below, spent the whole evening with the bike... again. Had to go into town to get a replacement part for the back brake. 19th April: Levels: None Playing Time: 0 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 0 Profit Made: 0k Yay it's my birthday on Sunday! :D Went out after school with my Dad to get a new bike, got home and spent the entire evening putting it together. No computer or Runescape 18th April: Levels: None Playing Time: 2 hours (spent a bit sorting out my members subscription) Yews Cut: 1,000 Flax Spun: 0 Yew Longs Strung: 537 Profit Made: 80k Played Laser Tag after school today with a mate, and had to renew my subscription. Spent about 1 and a half hours Fletching. Strung the 537 longs left from my 463 yesterday. Sold the 1k longs for 580k and bought 2k more Yews. Not a very exciting day... 17th April: Levels: 60 Crafting, 83 Fletching Playing Time: 3 hours Yews Cut: 0 Flax Spun: 1,500 Yew Longs Strung: 463 Profit Made: 80k Changed the News around a bit, also started working on a new sig advertising the thread. Now it's much easier for me and everyone else to see how much work and money I made that day. Also added the totals and averages at the top. Just strung the extra 463 Longs for the level... Being the first day I was busy with loads of stuff, and I got 20 minutes on the PC, which I spent looking at bikes (it's my Birthday on Sunday :D ). Once I have 2.5 mil, I'll buy my whip back, leaving me with 900k, enough to make another 2k Yew Longs, and get the ball rolling again. I went to Universal Studios in Barcelona (Port Aventura), we were staying in the best hotel there, right next to the park. The rides were great, the rooms were great, food was great, pool was great. I'd highly recomend going there. Ill spin the flax, cut the yews and string 2k. I'll sell the 2k Yew Longs and buy 3k Yew Logs to finish off. Today I cut 2k yews and spun 500 bs. THE SUPPLIES As you can imagine, 99 Fletching requires a LOT of supplies. So I am constantly buying and selling the following items: BUYING: Yew Logs -- 320gp each Bowstrings -- 180gp each Flax -- 100gp each SELLING: Yew Longbows -- 600gp each Please try pming me but if I'm not online POST HERE!! Thank you THE METHOD Heres how I do it: 1. I buy yews (1k at a time) for 320gp each. 2. I buy flax (1k at a time) for 100gp each. 3. I cut the yews, spin the flax and put them together. 4. Each completed Yew Longbow cost me 420gp to make (320gp for the yew + 100gp for the flax) 5. Sell the Yew Longbows for 600gp each. 6. Thats a profit of 180gp per Yew Longbow, 180k per 1k of Yew Longbows! 7. 14 Million gp Profit! THE OUTFIT This is what I wear while I'm Fletching! THE LEVELS I've worked out that for 99 Fletching, I need to make 78k Yew Longbows. Also, I will get Crafting xp from spinning the flax, so once I've spun 78k, I will have 70 Crafting. I'm not taking screenshots of the levels, but I have made the trackers below to show my progress: A RACE? Has anyone else got this goal?
