This post may sound ridiculous, but im posting with all seriousness. :cry: I was laying in my Bed, on my laptop, and my bed all of a sudden starts lightly rocking(its a tall bunk bed.) I think.."ehh not again .This has happend in the past month, didn't think it was serious. It happens again, now only a stronger rocking. I jump ouf of my bed, and just stare at it. It shakes again. At this point I hear a noise coming out of my computer room, which is the next room with no door. I get really frightened, and run over there. My monitor is rocking back and forth about 2 inches each time. I can't find an explanation for this. The slight rocking of my bed, and the pretty good shaking of my monitor. I have goosebumps all over. I believe in the supernatural, I think this might be it.. :-$ Oh, my bed has been shaking slightly like this for the past month. das1330 Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 well, it could be one of 4 things: 1: a small earthquake, as stated before (not likley) 2: a squirl or raccoon got into the rafters or attic of your house, and when it moves at night you get the vibrations (possible) 3. your bed and desk sit on the same beam running through the house (assuming your on the 2+ floor) and some type of machinery (a pump, a water heater, somthing like that) turns on at night and vibrates the post, vibrating everything along it. (possible) 4: you live in a 120 year old house converted into a funeral home before you moved in, and theirs evil spirits lurking about........................... Google90 Posted March 31, 2007 Author Share Posted March 31, 2007 Well, my computer room used to be a balcony. It was transofrmed into a room, composed of 13 windows. There is about 1 feet of wall under and above each window, which are all placed side by side. The house is atleasts 60 years old. And yep, I live on the second floor of the two family house. ------- Can body movements have anything to do with it? Because my brother was hoome with his girlfriend, and I know what they were doing... I still don't understand the shaking of my computer though :| The shaking of my bed isnt really random , it shakes exactly the same way always. I sleep on the top, I feel guilty about the fact that I might kill the person under me, I sleep on the bottom, I feel afraid that the top will fall on me. It a loss-loss. If you live near a river or stream (this next part sounds crazy but it's possible) then it might be forzen water under your house contracting as it melts, and then running into the river/stream/whatever.
