hohto Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 sure KQ is better than dusties for d chain drop, but think of it like this: 1. you need a team for KQ, and also you're not getting the KQ drop every time 2. dusties also drop things like rune arrows and other runes, making them somewhat profitable still in your search for a d chain 1. It can be soloed. That way you get every kill. 1,5. Even if you got every 4th kill, you got a lot bigger chances to get a d chain from kq than from dusties. 2. Kq drops also profitable items. If I wanted to get another d chain drop, I'd definately buy/borrow veracs and go after kq. The chances are so much better for that, would probably take a day or 2 to get one, instead of months at dusties. note for everyone talking about the day or 2 I talked: So far I've counted 224 kalphite queen loots and 4 has been chains. Of course still with these amounts we can't say anything for sure about ratios, but it looks like it's under 1 to 100. Still, its probably faster than dust devils and it gives better stuff anyway. But only on the high gamble. They play pretty much all day and they gamble all the points they get. I'll see if I can get in contact with them and see if anyone has got D-Chain.
