April 5, 200719 yr A friend is going to give me 20 mil for when i get 99 fletching. Now getting 99 mage through alching yew longs that i buy will make me loose 18 mil. I could just sell my whip and buy a santa. So what shoud i do? Thanks for advice. edit: Hmm ... more of you are leaning towards mage cape. Well, heres wat I've been thinking. THIS IS A HARD CHOICE :?: I'm going to prabably get santa because 1. Rares will most likely go op in price as more people play. 2. A santa is hawt. 3. I will already have a skill cape. 4. I honestly don't use mage that much. 5. Mage is useless after 94 to me. 6. I don't really want to embark on another long road to a 99. Fletchin is repitive enough. Mage may even be worse because its only clicking in the same spot. I'm thinking in the future I'll be a dker like trojann2 and get my mage up that way. So thats my choice. April 5, 200719 yr 99 Mage all the way, skills are much better in the long run then a hat you wear only once in a while, you will use mage much more often.
April 5, 200719 yr It really depends more on you. The Santa you can wear right now. And if you decide you don't like it, you can sell it later. The mage cape will take a long time to get. I would probably buy the Santa, try it out for a while and decide if it means anything to you to have one. A lot of people get a santa and decide they would rather have the skill cape. It takes more time and effort to get a mage cape then buying a santa. usually, a santa would also take time, getting the money (especially for f2per) but in your case, you're getting the money from a friend. plus, a trimmed fletching cape might look nice. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

April 5, 200719 yr In my opinion, whatever you want... Seriously, this isn't a "hard" choice, it's like picking a free diamon ring, or emerald ring. (Real ones, not you RS addicts who can't think outside the game) Seriously, invest it in a rare, or spend it for a cape you didn't do diddly squat for besides get as a present for getting an oh-so hard skill cape. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.

April 6, 200719 yr DO NOT GET A SANTA! I had one, I sold it for 650k, and then 2 months later the price jumped by almost 3500%, thats about 21m price increase. Santas are so unstable, you really don't want to end up with nothing with santas being so, flimsy, And most people only like them because of the price :wink:

April 6, 200719 yr What I think you should do, is Get 99 Mage by Alching yew longs, then with the money you get from alching, you can buy a Santa. Ive done some calculations, and at your level, you need to use High Level Alchemy 195,209 times, If you alch Strung yew longs, you'll get 149,920,512gp, And, with that Money, you could buy a santa.
