Glitches

I remember in multiplayer donkey kong64, my friends would go in the water and go through the wall and into the darkness.

In the level with the giant..mountain kinda thing..in the middle? I think I had done that before too. ;P

DK64's multiplayer was fun... I should try to find my cartridge.

Cliffwalking in WoW pre-patch 1.9 or whenever they fixed that...GRR

Anyhow, walking to get ontop of Ironforge, or into Dalaran (that one was pretty tricky). A pointless glitch, but the only one I can remember I explored on my own without reading guides and stuff.

Cliffwalking was so entertaining, was fun to do when you were bored.

Luckily they still haven't fixed the Mount. Hyjal glitch, I usually take a trip there when I'm bored. ::'

All sorts of them..one of my favorites was in Donkey Kong 64. You could go to Jungle Japes, and with anybody (I used Diddy), you could go to the top of the armory, jump to the banana peel on the right, and keep jumping. Eventually you could walk through all of the walls for a few minutes...I had a lot of fun with that glitch

In WoW, I like jumping up on the Cathedral in Stormwind -- and also the buildings closest to the AH in Ironforge. Oh and also the Caverns Of Time pre-TBC. However, most people in the WoW community know about these. :P

By the way, have they fixed the WSG glitch yet?

lol which WSG glitch >_<.

I remember there was a cool glitch in Everquest II. If you climbed over some buildings there was a portal to an area. Kinda cool.

Wait, there are more than one? I meant the one where the flag carrier could jump up/to a certain place where nobody could reach him.

I take it they haven't fixed them yet then.

Cliffwalking gets a vote from me too. When I'd reached 60 some time in 2005 and there was nothing else to do I went and explored so many places. South Silithus (before it was open) including inside AQ, north of EPL, Hyjal, beneath Dire Maul, beneath SW, behind that gate near SFK and so on. I quit playing before it was removed.

I'm not sure, I think there is.

But yeah I think that one still isn't fixed.. happened to me once in a WSG, really gay.

There was a glitch in LOZ: Ocarina of time where you could get an extra bottle by getting one of your existing bottles, go to catch something, then just before catching it swapping to a useless item like zelda's letter or that thing you get after getting the biggorons sword

You could do that with ANY ITEM IN YOUR INTENROY ;) Want a whole screen of bottles? More than possible

There's no many glitches in LOZ:OOT, check out the video Nadril (I think it was) posted in the youtube/google video sticky. 2:33:xx or something to complete the entire game :ohnoes:

But jumping around and randomly falling through the ground in Morrowind / Oblivion is always amusing. So is the flying horse glitch, kinda. I don't even know how it happened - but suddenly I was riding in mid-air. I'd done it before after hoping off on really steep terrain, but never while riding. You could travel through anything, it was great :D

Open console-> "player_additem x". Cheating in that game is pointless, they allow you to make the game play however you want via the console or construction set. Ignore all this if you are playing on 360 or PS3 of course.

Also in the Morrowind expansion Bloodmoon in Solsteim there are these obelisks that are about a hundred feet high, about 5 feet in diameter at the bottom and about 1 foot in diameter at the top (comes to a rounded point also) which I passed on my first trip there. I needed a safe place to rest and it looked safe so I levitated up there. My sleep is interrupted by a bear that is up here with me, 100 feet above the ground and on the 1ft platform with me :P .

Not really a glitch, but kind of is.

I'm addicted to the the test area transport. I'm always going back there to be a vampire, and I've spet 4 hours in the lock pick room just upping my security and alteration

Twice I left my c key jamed down with a nail file casting open very easy lock (mana regeneration > spell cost); go do something for half an hour or so, come back, bam.. another 25 levels :P

I play it on the 360 ^^^^

Then I guess duping isn't pointless :P . Not how I play, but that's the wonderful thing about the game, you can play however you choose.

@rick: I never have used the console to transport anywhere (only used it twice when I was stuck inside rocks), but I am assuming the test area can be accessed by "coc toddtest"? That is what it was in Morrowind I think. I did try to teleport once by "coc anvil" (when I was one pound over limit and didn't want to come back for it :P ) but it just sent me to a black area that I couldn't move around in. So I don't know if change-over-cell works the same way here as in Morrowind.

I'm not too sure on it.

"coc testvampireinterior" is what i use to get into the test area.

there's another 50 different location ID's I could use but meh.

Hard to remember all of them on the top of your head :P
